I like the food there because it look good and fresh enough compare to other sushi buffet. The price is a little higher than other buffets, but the sushi made up for it. Anyone wants to eat there should come at lunch or dinner time cause if you come say at 3 oclock, past lunch time, all the boats that float by you will be empty. You have to ask for what you want and its not convenience. The service there is not good at all I have to say. The servers are cold and act like they dont care if you eat or not. Maybe it is because their restaurant is crowded and they dont need us or they are overwork. I came in there 4 times already and every times when I asked some questions, they answer very short and unfriendly. They never smile even once. I think that is a shame cause service is also a big part that restaurant employees must maintain to get far in the long run. I havent been back cause I dont feel like seeing those servers faces and the last timeI was there a little late and most the boats were out of food. I would give it 4 stars, but because of the unpleasant service, 3 stars is what they deserve.

This is mostly a sushi buffet.... I say this because, although there are some side dishes, ie., chicken wings, veggie dishes, soup, the customers are here for the sushi which is average at best, in my opinion. The tuna was somewhat dry in flavor and the cooked shrimp chewy. The sushi is served on little boats that float by tables at the sushi bar. You can imagine that the bar is filled up quickly. Salmon, salmon eggs, clam sushi are scarce unless you place an order, which necessitates you stand in a long line. The place opens at 11 but theres a long line before the door opens giving credence of the popularity of this establishment. My biggest gripe was the rude waiters and a member of our family not being able to sit with us unless she paid the $17.50 lunch admission. We did eat our moneys worth, stood in line for special orders, and getting bumped with the packed room of other competitive eaters/diners. Didnt have to leave a tip because we paid to include our family member to be with us instead of sitting outside by herself. Not my favorite of places....

All you can eat sashimy? That alone is well worth it. We went on the weekend for dinner. Waited for an hour. Price - I think it was close to $20/person + tips. We sat at the bar and that is the best place to sit here because there are "boats" loaded with food flowing along the "river" right in front of you and you can grab whatever you like. Food is fresh - it kind of has to be with the amount of food they serve. The cooks are right at the bar and they make for you custom ordered rolls. You tell them what ingredients you like and they put it together - such a good service. Hope they pay them well. Some SECRET menu items: Fried Soft Crab - very good Yellow tail Tuna Grilled Salmon Spicy Seared Hamachi - very good Hand rolls (cones) Lion King Roll Quail Egg n Tobiko We have been in Sacramento region for two years and never found a good all you can eat sushi place until a coworker recommended us this place. Very good!

The food is ok, and selection is middle of the road. Considering that the line outside is long and our group waited 45 minutes, my initial perception was this place has to be really good. With that in mind, the expection was higher, especially the service. Quality of fish is passing, but again its not excellent, I have seen better places. On my first visit (most likely my last), the first thing I noticed are the signs all over the place, actually these are laundry list of guests cant do. Very tacky and a major turn-off. It gave me a feeling they think they are too good for their customers. The signs are very presumptive of the lack of discipline of customers who are about to be seated. If you are a decent and reasonable customer, you would be offended to see those signs. The person at the register is quite rude. This restaurant is overrated, they need to be placed where they belong. Not impressed.

Frankly it was pretty underwhelming. Way too many people crammed into too small a space. Waiting in line was like being a cow waiting to go to slaughter. The decor and cleanliness is terrible, made worse by the fact that you cant even walk through the place without bumping into 20 other diners. The sushi was mediocre, okay at best. Its okay if youre looking for value-- after all, you can eat as much as you want, right? I can usually pack away a lot of sushi, but at this place I found myself not really wanting to go back for more. I tried several things, and many of them just ended up half eaten. Ive certainly been to much better sushi places-- including all you can eat ones. Both my wife and I agree-- if were in the mood for sushi, we wont be going to Fuji. Honestly, for the same price, Id rather get two delicious rolls than all I can eat garbage.

We went to Fujis for lunch....Place was crowded. Floor was dirty and tables and booths were sticky and dirty. But what was really the "straw that broke the camels back" was when a lady proceeded to CHANGE HER BABYS DIAPER on the booth at the dinner table. BARF! I wanted to loose my lunch. If that werent enough, she wadded the diaper up and PUT IT ON THE TABLE. I told the snippy little Asian girl behind the counter and she seemed less than interested. I told her she needed to make certain tables and booth were sanitized after the baby changing incident ( and not with that same grey, damp rag they use on all the tables). We got up, paid for our food, and walked out! Yall go ahead and eat here, but as for me,Ill "Stick" to the more sanitary places instead of sticking to the booth..

Okay, I had to write a review to counter all the people saying super negative things about this place. Dont listen to all the negative comments. No, this is not the restaurant run by Jiro, but it is perfectly acceptable. It is a great price for good food. I ride my bike over to this place with my little daughter all the time. The service is good, sometimes slow when it is busy, but damn be patient, the place is always packed (and for a good reason). And to the people complaining about the service... you probably are just too shy to go to the sushi bar and ask for something; that is your fault no theirs. This is not a place to eat if you are in a hurry or if you expect to have some waiter brown nose you so you can feel good about yourself. Price: Perfect Food: Good Service: Good

I used to be the regular customer there. The food,, price, and services used to be great. But now, under a new owner the quality of the food goes from 10 to 1. They used to have lots of sushi choices but now hardly anything. The Chinese food use to be tasty and now it tastes like garbage. Staff are moody and not so friendly. The price for dinner used to be $16-&17, and now they jacked it up to al most $21 per person. If a child is 9 yrs old, he/she is considered an adult and has to pay the full price. The place used to be full but now hardly anyone is there. Under new owners, they brought in different staff. That right there will explain why the food and the service are not so good.. last time I went there and got sick. I guess I wont be going back there anymore.
