Best cake doughnuts ever! My tailgate group calls them crack donuts for their addictive properties. The wine selection, by Eric, is one of the very best in Detroit - everything from jug and value wines, to rare, expensive, collectibles - there is a lot more selection than what you see on the floor. Great pizza values too, and muffaletta sandwich - one doesnt see that very often. As for the bakery, best cannolis around Detroit, and great French bread and crusty rolls. Great sub sandwiches, too. Some folks swear by them.

Always a great selection of items either not available elsewhere or that will make one think wistfully of ones past. All in-store prepared items are made according to old family recipes, of high quality ingredients, by caring staff, and are generally delicious. Customer service is friendly and helpful, but be prepared to take a number and wait your turn. Theres a reason why people are often lined up out of the door. Because its worth it! Bommaritos is a St Clair Shores treasure!

Remember everything that you loved as a child and growing up and loving life and that beautiful island vacation you took a couple years ago and your wedding day and jesus, yes jesus, they put all of those things in the subs. How Im not quite sure but everything on earth that is superior to humans is in these subs. Then they drizzle with some delicious olive oil. There isnt even a ratings scale known to humanity for these subs thats how good they are. God bless the troops.

Yes,I live in Fenton Michigan,and yes at least once a month I journey to Bommaritos for fresh made pizza, pizza Dough,Canolis,and assorted breads to last a month. Take it all home, And oh yes ,the trip is well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!! This is an outstanding place for Baked goods,Bread,Pizza,Wine , & Italian Groceries.no one in this area comes close! it is family run,as it has been for a lot of years,and the Pride shows. Donald J. My favorite bakery in all of the lands. Customer service is always amazing just make sure to grab a number or the ladies will give you a hard time (and maybe even the people you are "cutting" in front of). They have a bomb day-old section, and an amazing variety of fresh products, wines cheeses and more. My mom grew up coming to this bakery and she raised me to go to this bakery. Very authentic italian place.

This place is as good ol fashion as you can get nowadays. These folks still do things the real way and you can taste the difference. None of the other stores around that offer the same foods can compare to Bommarito Bakery. Why go get a assembly line sub from Subway or a fake cheese hot & ready when you can have the real deal for the same price at Bommarito? sometimes its cheaper even :)

Since we moved to Florida the only thing missing is Bommaritos, Their subs and pizza are the best!! When we come back to SCS to visit we do not leave until we pay Rose a visit and leave with a slice of the best sicilian pizza, a sub and a homemade desert!! Best subs in the Detroit metro area. The buns are incredible. Sfinciuni (slang is spin joonie) pizza is the best I have ever had. I think the cannolis are the best as well. New York style Terrazini Pizza should make all patrons reconsider why the purchase chain pizza....

Wonderful old-fashioned Italian bakery with delicious bread, cookies, pastries, donuts, cakes and the best cannolis that I have ever had. Large wine selection and made to order submarine sandwiches. They made my mothers wedding cake over 50 years ago.

I just moved here. Ive come twice; its always busy but you dont wait too long as long as you get a number. Have had a cannoli and a slice of pizza- both delicious. Service is wonderful, prices are great, and Im already planning on coming once a week.

The food is actually good; however the lack of customer service makes the food taste bitter...if you call ahead for your food, you still have to wait 15 minutes when you walk in the door, at that point you have to reheat your food when you get home

Not the widest of selection. The location did seem popular as there were numerous clients, despite that we did not feel welcome, as though everyone knew each other and we were not a part of their clique. Left without purchasing anything.

Unbelievable. So good that its practically criminal. Weather its pastries, pizza by the slice or an italian sub, you better believe that you will be stunned. Im relatively new to Detroit, and this place is my favorite on the east side.

They need to bring cheesecake back for those of us old enough to remember it! Other than that, you cant live in or stop in St. Clair Shores and not get Bommaritos. Everything here is amazing, always has been, and always will be.

Great Italian bakery for many many years since I was a young boy my parents uesd to take me there..also famous for there pizzas and subs..I live at least 20 miles away from there.. Ill drive that just for there food and bakery

My favorite bakery ever. This is truly like a slice of home. The bread is so amazing and the canollis are to die for. I would literally reccomend this place to anyone. Its always super packed but thats because its delicious.

Legitimate old time neighborhood, family owned, bakery thats been here forever. Friendly staff, great pizza by the slice or whole. Muffaletto, fresh subs made daily, great bakery and unbelievable wine selection!

It is not boasting if it is true. In Bommaritos case it is true. They have the best submarine sandwich in the world. I also love there pizza and bread. Come to think of it I love everything they make.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tried to call to order when a lady hang up on me when I was talking and I overheard them they were just chitchatting and laughing out loud. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Every time Im in town, my family always stops at Bommaritos to get homemade Italian Lemon Ice. It is the best, you get addicted to it. We usually buy a gallon of it to take home!

They have great canolli, no one can deny that! But certain staff are testy at best. They have some great staff but the others just kill the vibe. Especially the short blonde woman.
