WHAT?! A Koja in little ol ROCKLIN?!?! Coming from the city, Ive had Koja from both the food truck and the Clement location. I had a double take when I saw this in my hometown. Came on the Saturday of mothers day weekend and by 6pm they already sold out of the short ribs!!! Sadness. But the food was still delicious. Ordered: Braise pork bowl- Pork was tender, juicy and came with a hint of coconut. So delicious! Mixed so well with the sushi rice, greens and kimchi. Note - their kimchi is seasoned mildly for the masses (but I liked it). Beef bowl- My mom had this, but the beef I tried was flavorful. Kamikaze Fries- Waffle fries with beef and sauces (mini heart attack). Fries were fried well with small pieces of meat layered on top. Good for sharing. Strawberry Mango Lemonade- We got this for free as part of their mothers day special. The lemonade was a tad sweet for me (I usually drink unsweetened things) but the flavors were good...I couldt taste the mango though. Plenty of seating in the dining area. The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but the food and service was great. I wish them well at this new location.

Being a chef for years Im always searching for something that truly excites my palate and All I can say is wow!!!! Their food is insane. Kojo has truly captured the true meaning of unami. Their combos are incredibly savory . You can tell that every dish has had time and quality control poured into it. From the amazing coconut braised pork, to the tender portobello mushroom burger that makes you forget why you ever loved beef, well for a few seconds ;), all around they are on point. All this, and served in a creative and easy to eat format. The amazing customer service of abla who served me completed a full circle experience. An experience that is hard to find these days, Thumbs way up.

Flavor was amazing. Love it much and would definitely come back. I like the bowl more than the koja, but I am clumsy and a messy eater with a fork. It comes with a salad and if you want tobiko they ad it. If you dont like fish eggs you can deny. Staff is great and the place is spacious enough seats for friends or yo make new friends. It is outside the city limits and makes it a nice place to drive to if you dont mind. They have a drive through for those on the go. I highly recommend eating there for the freshness If you take the jobs to go, the rice patty starts to break apart from the sauce. Better eat once you receive the order.

Read many of the Yelp reviews and the food was just okay. Something was missing to give it that pop that really good food has. For a fast food American Asian style it was good. It is different which is nice. Ordered two chicken tacos with kamakazie fries w/kimchi on the side, they only gave me one chicken taco and no kimchi, had to ask for both. Even the kimchi was missing something to really make it flavorful. I do like the taste of wasabi in the taco, nice touch.

Great place to eat. Fun atmosphere. Great food and they serve beer on tap. Not a large selection but good. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. The Kona burger is a delicious asian take on a hamburger. Just dont go in craving a hamburger.

Good vibe when you walk in followed by greetings from a friendly staff. The bowls are good size portions with outstanding flavors. I would go with the short rib bowl if its your first time and then branch out from there. Will be back for sure!!!

Wow! I heard good things about this place, but WAY surpassed my expectations! Everything was delicious and original with great flavors and I cant stop raving about it! My new favorite place!

Delish... Took the family for dads birthday and it was very good. Not very big portions and the tacos not worth the money but ill still go back if im not looking for a big meal

The food is good, however for $10 for a short rib bowl you get barely any meat. Very under portioned complete waste of ten dollars. Thats how much meat you get for $10

Had the original koja. The short ribs are rich and scrumptious. The "buns" are fried rice packed tightly. Had the Deschutes beer to wash it down. Will be back.
