Ive been to this place a few times; the last two, my ordered was WRONG. Lets start from the top, I hail from the great state of Texas, El Paso to be exact. The very namesake of this restaurant. The staff is nice enough and appears to be very busy. The chips and salsa served as you get there are good and the sauce is fresh; really hard to mess up. Our first order was grilled chicken; the menu states "it is grilled to perfection". The thinly sliced chicken breast was more like chicken jerky, very dry and the salt was over powering. Second, my order was for three pork azado tacos, but i received the dregs of the azado the kitchen had only one taco azado taco and the other two were "pork carnitas". These are INCORRECTLY identified on the menu as "carnitas" are fried pork and not braised. They were however flavorful, tender and juicy but again, they should scale back on the salt; the condiment should enhance the flavor and not overpower. I let the waiter know that my order was wrong and he looked and said sorry and kept moving; never offered to correct it or perhaps a small comp. Upon our check out, the manager asked if everything was ok, and I again notified him of the error on my order. He responded with a sorry and "hopefully we will get the order right the next time". I eat out a lot and have come to expect a certain level of service, it would have been nice if the place took care of the customer and corrected their deficiency and ensured they kept the customer. Ive certainly tasted better Mexican food, but it could be worst i suppose.

Love this place. We lived here for more than three years before we noticed that this little non-descript building in the corner of a strip mall always seemed to have tons of cars parked outside. Figuring the other locals knew something we didnt, we tried it one night, and its now our go-to spot for an affordable night out. The food wont win any culinary awards, but everything Ive tried has been very very good, and the portions are sizeable. (Im a big fan of the Enchiladas Supreme, personally.) All of which is available for a fraction of the cost of other, bigger-name restaurants -- my wife and I recently had fajitas for two, beers, and sodas on a Friday night for less than $30, including tip. The decor is nothing fancy ... pretty no-frills, but dont let it fool you. Within its walls is one of the best food values in Prince William County.

Absolutely, our favorite restaurant in Woodbridge. I spent a fair amount of time in El Paso, TX, and this restaurant makes me feel like Im back there. The food is more like youd get in northern Mexico than the Tex-Mex you get everywhere else. On top of that the service is absolutely the best. Its like Cheers ... where everybody knows your name. Weve got 5 picky kids; three are on gluten free diets. There first time we came the waitress patiently helped out kids pick food theyd like. We came back a couple weeks later and she remembered us ... and the kids orders. Now we know all the servers, and they always makes us feel like family. I grew up before chain restaurants dominated the market. Service like this was more common then. Now it is a very special surprise. Take your family here, and come back often.

You will enjoy a casual setting that welcomes you with a smile and follows through with a great menu then this is the best Mexican food for anyone looking to get a meal for 4 with drinks at 40 bucks. Patron Margaritas for 8 bucks and big 22 ounce beers of Coors light for 4 bucks. If you are into value without compromising on taste and authenticity then come here. Details of the pride of ownership through operational excellence will be evident because I for one have consistently left satisfied with my meals for me and my family. It is a great spot for Indian Gujarati folks looking for that perfect Mexican restaurant which caters to the vegetarians cuisine needs. Rare Find Great for Family!

Wow.. First time coming here and it will not be my last. My bf wanted to take me to dinner for our anniversary. I am from out of state and was feeling very home sick. I missed the food there and wanted something that made me feel at home. El Paso hit the nail on the head! I got a 3 combo with a chicken burrito, chicken enchilada, and a beef hard shell taco. Everything was delicious. I felt like I was at my favorite Mexican place back home!!! The salsa and cheese dip were to die for. I made it a point to save my enchilada for lunch the next day so I could enjoy it all over again! Very nice waitress and staff. Overall my experience was everything I was hoping for. I cant wait to go back! :)

USED to be our fav. What we ordered : enchilada platter, guacamole & chips, chips & salsa. What we got: some kind of enchilada casserole with soggy tortillas, a little lettuce and a half slice of tomato. No beans, no rice and florescent orange cheese that tasted suspiciously like VELVEETA ! eeewwwww. The guacamole was ok, but I know a can of Rotel tomatoes with some cilantro tossed in when I taste it.Bad salsa, thin and watery. My husband specifically asked for this Valentines meal, and I guess Ill have to make it up to him tomorrow and take him some place better, like Taco Bell.

This place rocks!! The food is outstanding and flavorful!! The dinner for two is huge and feeds our family of four and we have leftovers for the next day.. The Cadillac Margaritas are awesome. Richie makes a special drink for me, called Mos juice.. If youre looking for awesome food, go here ASAP. And if for some reason its not up to par, talk to Richie and hell make it right. Weve been going here for 12 every Saturday and have never been disappointed!!

If you hate chain restaurants and really like going to local establishments, El Paso will not be disappointing. Not sure, then head on over for lunch on Wednesdays everything is on special that day. Not long ago we introduced our real estate broker to El Paso. She decided to pick up the lunch tab for all four of us. The bill was under $25.00 and that included her Margarita. Good food, good service and local. Its doesnt get better than that.

We used to get seated right away but this hidden gem has been discovered by many and now there is a wait on most nights, though it is generally a short one. The service is generally pretty good. The staff likes to interact with my two year old which usually makes her pretty happy so that is a plus. The food is good and tastes pretty much how I would expect. My wife enjoys their Chili Rellenos and compares other restaurants to these.

Says Mexican food, but the flavor was not as Mexican as I wanted it to be. They used fake flour tortillas and the same sauce was on all of my selections amd my husbands. The chile rellenos were very plain and the enchiladas had GROUND BEEF!! Not cool. But, considering I am away from California, I guess this is the best its gonna get. The three stars are for value...its pretty cheap for a lot of food.
