Very affordable no-frills seafood place. You arent going there for the ambiance and the food doesnt disappoint. Catfish so delicious you dont need sauces, and this is from someone who refused to eat fish without tartar sauce. You get free soda with every meal and the fries are SO yummy and generous I actually had to ask for extra cole slaw instead because I was getting full on it and couldnt eat the fish. Only gave 4 out of 5 stars cos the place does look a little rekt but once you get over it you will become a regular after the first meal. Just delicious.

If youre into hole-in-the-wall fish/shrimp, it doesnt get much better than Fish Express. Super affordable, great portion sizes, and delicious recipes. The wait was a bit long and parking was cramped, and I will say that you definitely dont pay for the atmosphere, but thats not enough to knock off a star with how much I enjoyed my meal.

THIS..is my favorite fried food joint in the world. This is coming from a guy that has lived in Florida, Texas, Michigan, Oregon, California, Virginia, pretty much Illinois, and have stopped in over 40 states in America. Go Here Now!!! Once drove 2 hours just to eat here. Perfectly located between Chicago and Detroit.

My husband got the cod and catfish combo! The catfish was off the hook! The only bad experience was not being able to call our order in! The phone just rang. If youre this busy, hire someone just to answer the phone and take orders! Good food otherwise!

My favorite place for some fried chicken! I think its the "secret" seasoning that makes it so delicious! Just wish they had the seasoning to sell to customers .. I hear its available in Grand Rapids!? Price is right for the serving size :)

Definitely a neighborhood spot. Be prepared for a wait most times. But the food is fresh and delicious! The area can feel kinda sketchy after dark. Prices are decent, prime are large.
