Around Feb of 2017 my husband and I decided to go check this place out. Wed just move here to Holland from out of state. We ordered those crab ragoon things as an appetizer all with a lunch special for each. My husband stepped out while I dug in to one crab ragoon, and the main entree wasnt delivered just yet. I had already consumed the soup they give you and i was working on the wanton strips, when in the plate of wonton strips they give you with the sweet and sour, it had a roach [dead] flipped on its back and pretty big. I immediately called to a waitress and she stood behind a small divider in the seating area. She kinda hesitated bc we werent her guests, our waiter was in the kitchen. But I simply pointed at the roach and she immediately went and grabbed the waiter. He came and asked what was wrong, I simply pointed and he said "oh" . I told him I didnt want anything anymore and he said he understood and I walked out. My husband was making his way to the table when I nodded "no" and waited till I got somewhat away from the restaurant to tell him. I hesitated to tell him inside bc I didnt want to make a big scene. But I figured Id post it here. Sorry but I cant even stand seeing that place without wanting to gag.

I looked at the menu on their web site. After thorough review, I saw Sesame Chicken, served with an egg roll and choice of white or fried rice for $7.95. I ordered take out. When I got there, my bag was stapled shut, I used my credit card and signed without looking at the total. When I got home, I realized that they charged me $10.87. Either sales tax just went WAY up, or they overcharged me. Also, NO EGG ROLL. Furthermore, neither the portion nor the taste were worth $11. It tasted like old, rotten chicken with molasses on it, and it had no SESAME SEEDS! Sesame chicken without the sesame. And it had random chunks of broccoli in it, but it wasnt broccoli chicken. After eating, I literally almost got sick. I dry heaved several times. I do not recommend this place.

People who gave negative reviews - are you serious??? The value you get with this place exceeds the majority of chinese restaurants in the area. I have frequented a great deal of chinese cuisine restaurants, and China Inn is on par with most of them for significantly less cost. If you were to frequent other establishments that were comparible on the price, you would not find the same quality as China Inn. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food and want to get it for the same prices offered here, thats unreasonable expectations. This is America so most chinese restaurants here will "americanized" their food, as the majority of people in America prefer the less authentic dishes. Anyways, they have great food for the price and I go there as much as I can.

I go here all the time, they remember me when I come. The food is amazing and the workers are super friendly. My father used to come with me when I went and he would have long conversations with one of the workers, and he left his coat, they noticed and knew it was his and kept it for him behind the counter. My father recently passed away, I went there to eat and the man asked me, "big man not here today?" He referred to my father as "big man", a nickname if you will. He was very upset when I told him he had passed away. Anyway, I would absolutely recommend you eat here, they give you wonderful food and its very affordable.

The waiter was nice but he forgot to bring to me lemons also failed to mention that they only carry beef and pork egg rolls. I was very disappointed when he brought beef egg roll to me and told me it was a veggie spring rolls and later I find out it was not other than that the food is OK definitely cannot compare it to high quality Chinese food it is somewhere above questionable chinese resturants and beneath Panda Express

Great staff but the food was poor. Sticky rice, pork smelled funny, strange hard rock like thing found by chewing on it. Kitchen sounded like people were having a fight with metal serving platters. Utensils wrapped in napkin but without knives? Why? Hope they can do better because the staff seemed genuinely nice.

Seseme chicken came without any seeds. Everything tasted sour. Just ate a few bites and feel like I'm gonna throw up. The kung pow is rotten. Please avoid this place at all cost. Go anywhere else. I would eat 3 day old McDonolds over this place anyday. If you value your live avoid the food poisoning!

We happend to find this awesome restaurant via the maps app on my phone, just so happens it is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in! The food is fabulous, our waitress was amazing, the whole experience was incredible! Will definitely come back when we are in the area which I hope is soon!

Ordered a spicy szechuan and ended up with some sort of a sweet dish. They replaced it with something spicy, but is was still too sweet. Didn’t even have chop sticks on the table, what kind of Chinese restaurant doesn’t have chopsticks? Lame!

Good food. Small portions. In town visiting. Glad I gave this spot a try. Reminds me of the food at my favorite Chinese place back home, but makes me appreciate my regular places portion sizes a lot more.

BEST Chinese food around! The orange chicken is delicious and fried rice is the best I have had. Have also had the general tso chicken and that is good too. LOVE this place, will be back many more times.

Food is always fresh and good quality. Service is always, ALWAYS top notch. Restaurant is clean, a far cry from many dive Chinese Restaurants we have eaten in. We dine there two or three times a month.
