Fantastic South Indian, probably the best Indian in Staten Island & Brooklyn combined (once you get to Queens & Manhattan though obviously there are more contenders). Beyond the excellent dosas the vegetable curries are also superb. Harder to find dishes like Vegetable Chettinadu, Kadai Paneer, Navratan Korma are all recommended and the usual standbys are also done very well including 3 delicious kinds of dhal, 3 different preparations of okra, Palak Paneer, rasam soup, etc. Very wonderfully spicy. Cooks with more dairy than your typical Indian restaurant but if youre vegan they will substitute coconut milk. Sometimes can be a long wait for your food. Oh and if you can make it during lunchtime their thali specials are amazing feasts.

This small hidden treasure cove, is located on Victory blvd near bay st..as an avid south Indian cuisine lover, I tried the dosas at this place and they were fresh,crispy,and finger licking good. They have great service, very neat and clean and good for small families or lunches. Very friendly atmosphere and prices were really reasonable for 5$ you get a huge masala dosa which is great and just nothing but 5 stars for this tiny place. They have a parking lot to park around the corner. I highly recomend this place..

Horribly slow service. We ordered 1 dosa which does not take any long for preparation at all. But the hotel staff gives more priority to online and delivery orders than the customers sitting in the restaurant since 30 min waiting for food with hunger. Out of all it was a shady place and i would never recommend it for a family dinner. I had to do with a pizza slice that night !! Nor did they seek for a simple apology when we cancelled the order after repeated delay. Will never go back again

I love the aromatics of the cuisine. This place tends to be mild/unremarkable end of flavors. Overall I do enjoy the bread basket. I generally have ever my order delivered. ONCE I went with friends. Service was ok. Until I got up at the end of meal and went to the register. As I moved around the wall, I saw my waiter drinking water DIRECTLY FROM A WATER PITCHER. That was the last time I ordered from there. I love the cuisine but the idea of waiter flavored water... Kills it for me.

Went for the first time today. Best South Indian/Sri Lankan Ive had in the US period. The dosas are huge and oh so tasty. I also had the mutton biryani and took most of the biryani home for lunch tomorrow (portions weret skimpy). Most places tone down the spices even when I ask for extra spicy. I just ordered spicy and it was absolutely perfect. I will be back again, with friends.

One of the worst places Ive ever had South Indian food at. The dosas are rubbery and the chutneys are bland. Dont recommend this place at all despite all the other reviews. The front door says that this is a Michelin star rated restaurant. I find that hard to believe given that the food tastes like hot tar.

We normally love it, food honestly never lets us down... But...service is horrible...one poor waiter always even Fri nite Long time waiting, brought main course b4 appetizer, 2 times forgot to give Me something I ordered Dont go if u r super hungry or in a rush But if u have time u will have a good meal

Best food in town! Tons of vegan options. The staff is very helpful and they were very patient with me as to point which dishes were vegan or could be made vegan. I dont know if I was just starving or the food was really beyond awesome indeed haha.

Has great South Indian and Sri Lankan food would def reccomend it to everyone who is new to eating these ethnic cusines. The food is spicy but not too spicy which great if you cant handle too much spice all at once.

Been there a weekend back and looks like the place is renovated and it looks nice by the way . The only thing is the food is more to a Indian flavor than a Srilankan flavor.looks like it has changed owners

Although delivery is not fast, this place never fails me. The tandora chicken is always on point. And the briyani has just the right amount of spice. I wish to try some of their curries next time.
