I am Chinese and live in Jamaica Plain. I love authentic Chinese and I like Chinese American food every once in a while. When I order takeout I order from Triple. Triples CA food is above average for food around here. All their food is not that bad - chicken wings, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, boneless spare ribs, scallion pancakes, etc, etc, and its fresh. The CA fast food restaurants in JP is terrible. Thank god I found Triple Eatery. Couple of negative - I always order lobster sauce with my meal. The last few times the lobster sauce lacked meat, it was mostly gravy. Before their lobster sauce was pretty good and meaty, but not lately. And, as another reviewer has said, their General Tsos Chicken is mostly dough with very little meat but the sauce that goes with it is pretty good. Dont forget to tip the drivers! I always tip the same amount as if I was in a restaurant, at least 18% if not more. From the drivers face when I give them tip, they seemed very surprised and grateful. I get the feeling that lots of people tip very little if at all.

Ive been ordering food from here for 5 years and I used to love ordering at this place up to about a year ago,something happened and I am starting to look for another chinese place, not only did the prices go up but the servings got smaller, and the delivery time is ridiculous, i waited 1hr&20min (which the lady told me 30-45) for my food and the guy had the nerve to ask for a TIP, and the food was COLD! I really used to love this place i even have an account with them, i even know the owners name is Paul there the only people ive found that fully full their crab Rangoon but now... Im leaving.

The food is good but the woman who answers the phone all the time is very rude and short of patience and hangs up on you and short talks you and puts you on hold. The service is horrible this happens far to often at this food location Im looking for some where to eat with better customer service that just doesnt care about taking your money and thats it ; but has patients with better customer service. The lady who takes the orders really makes this place horrible...

The food here tastes pretty great but they need to improve a couple things. Their chicken wings are not great ; probably the worst chicken wings that I come across in the Boston area. Also, the General Tso chicken is mostly dough and not actual meat. The service isnt bad, but they give off the vibe that they really dont care about you. Its a decent spot. Not bad at all, just NOT GREAT.

Decided to get take out & took a chance on this place. Had very slow service & noticed the place was dirty... geez the bathroom was disgusting. The only redeeming thing is the larger portions. My food was lukewarm when I received it, & only ate a small portion when I got a stomach ache. Yea would not recommend.

Place looks sketchy with monster truck tires protecting a pole out front, but the food isnt bad at all. Its a great place to grab something fast and typical of an American Chinese resturant. Prices are very reasonable as well and the staff is fast and kind.
