My first time visit Sushiya which I heard from few friends, so came here for lunch break. The sashimi was good except they need to maintain temperature S.O.P. to keep all fishes fresh. I could smell and tasted fishy odor on my sashimi which wasnt good sign to serve fresh fish. Sushi was okay because the key ingredient was the rice which i could taste the rice vinegar and need little bit more time for rice to be cooked. The price is reasonable and great atmosphere.

Last night I had the best sushi in Williamsburg. The quality was fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful. I had the sushi plate and it was amazing. My wife had a steak teriyaki and i was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to my favorite new restaurant.

We moved from Newport news to Barhamsville, so we were really looking for some place like Hiyashi. We went to Sushiya for dinner and found that the sushi chef was actually worked at Hiyashi! Great atmosphere, friendly service, good prices and yummy sushi! Will definitely go back!

Me and the wife had dinner at Sushiya last night for the first time. The dining experience was great and the food was amazing. Our waitress made us feel very welcomed and accommodated us to what we wanted to order. Great experience and I will be going back again.

My husband and I ate lunch here one afternoon. The sushi was ok but was expensive. The chicken teriyaki was terrible. It tasted like they poured a bottle of teriyaki on top of the chicken at the last minute. We will not be eating here again.

Absolutely amazing sushi. 6 of us came out and got the sushi boat for 4, 3 special rolls, and edamame. The edemame was perfectly cooked and the sushi was delicious and very fresh! Will definitely go back.

Cute atmosphere, great service! But we ordered the chicken teriyaki hibachi plate and were told we couldnt have one of the items and it wasnt well seasoned. The rest of the food was good though!

Amazing!! Very clean, friendly and nice staff, easy to understand service, very tasty steak and rice, sushi is very fresh. Also enjoyed hibachi. Will definitely be coming back!

Had the spicy tuna roll and it was very mushy although they were working from a disadvantage because I much prefer when they dont grind up the sushi for the role
