I went to Sushi on Second today, and this place has some of the best sushi rolls. The Miso is great, and will put many other restaurants to shame. As I mentioned before, the rolls were great. They have a meal, in which you can get two or three rolls, and I got the one with three rolls (which was really only 3 half rolls). This is not a problem though since the chef actually stuffs the roll. If you order a tuna roll, there is actually a good bit of Tuna in it, not 80% rice like you see at other restaurants. The atmosphere is great. I;d advise eating there as either brunch or a late lunch, as it gets packed starting around noon. The restaurant is a great place to eat during your trip to Harrisburg, and I try to make it a point to go there every time Im in Harrisburg.

I went on a Tuesday night and sat at the Sushi bar. The fish was decent, the salmon in general had problems. Perhaps their fish was old, the salmon sashimi tasted old and the ikura/salmon roe [a la carte] was awful, infact it brought down my rating one complete star. ---You dont serve people bad food---. Minus the bad ikura, the atmosphere was decent and the sashimi platter was good [I would have recommended it]. 2nd Street seems to be the hip joint for people around Harrisburg, for you out of towners.... This place is not authentic Japanese, it is Chinese-owned, which is not a problem.... for all you Japanese supremecists, watch out! ***Disclaimer: Im not Japanese****

Sushi was very good, I thought reasonably priced, & fresh. What really stood out was the service, however. The waitresses & especially the hostess were very amiable and fun conversationalist. I enjoyed the whole lunch experience. Careful though, portions are deceivingly large! I left 1/3rd of my sushi untouched! And I am not one that cant usually finish a meal!

Ive eaten sushi in Alaska & Northern California and they had nothing on the freshness and quality of Miyakos fish cuts. While it lacks the ambiance of Benihannas the food quality is exponentially better and when youre done eating, make a left and youll have ambiance and atmosphere to your hearts content. Ill never go for sushi in Harrisburg anywhere else.

It is a relaxed atmosphere with a great variety of special rolls. My favorite is the Valentine roll with tuna, eel sauce and spicy mayo, tempura shrimp and avocado. Salad with ginger dressing is huge. Great deals for lunch specials too...sushi, sashimi and California roll with soup or salad.

the appetizers, oshitashi, shumai, seaweed salad were all really tasty. The sushi rolls and nigiri were also pretty good. Not great but definitely serviceable. If you are a serious Omakase sushi snob you probably wont think its that great but again you wont hate it.

Travelling from Hawaii we were excited to find a sushi place out here. We were a little skeptical, but found it to be great. My kids thought it was better than our favorite place in Hawaii. Go figure, way out here in Pennsylvania. Very creative sushi rolls.

The sushi was pretty good not the best still have my favorite little place in key west but they come in 2nd I would have to say. From dc area and I would say the prices were on the lower end very reasonable would definitely return!!!!

This is not the best (or best priced sushi) in the area, but it is the best downtown Harrisburg. The bento boxes are a decently priced and flavorful option for weekday lunch, and service during the week is normally prompt.

Love it! Always my go to for sushi here in Harrisburg. I get the sashimi bento...but its all delicious. Perfect for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch. The staff...so good. Time and Time again its always good
