My family and I love Korean food. We have dined here four times hoping each time would be better but it NEVER got better only worse. Our last visit ever to this restaurant was July 17, 2015. After my family and friends were seated we were left for a long time. I had to flag a waiter who wasnt assigned to my table to get service. It took almost an hour to receive our food. My daughter ordered dumpling soup and it was so over cooked the rice cakes were practically non-existent. I asked to see the manager several times but never got to. The waiter tried to accommodate us and was polite. I later saw the manager eating with what looked like friends then step outside to chat while his company smoked. So I guess he doesnt care about his customers. I asked to see him so many times he finally told the waiter to comp our soup. I didnt care about paying but I wanted to talk to the manager and didnt get that chance. I DONT RECOMMEND this restaurant! The food was only mediocre. I will drive to Newport News, Richmond or VB to eat Korean food. Unfortunately, I have to drive away from my community to get good korean food and service.

I am traveling around the U.S.A more than half months of every year as a business trip. This is the one of the best Korean restaurant for me. The reason why you guys have to wait a little bit long time than other restaurants is they start to make food after your order. Trust me, they are really nice people and try to make your food from the heart. They dont use MSG and they make almost every food in their restaurant by themselves. I hope this restaurant is going to be loved by everybody :) I highly recommend kimchi jjigae(kind of kimchi stew with pork), kal-bi back ban(Korean style sweet bbq served with white rice and 6 side dishes) and fried dumpling for the appetizer. Enjoy your meal:D

The worst service in the history of eating out! I actually left angry. Went for lunch on a Saturday. We waited 10 minutes before receiving menus. 45 minute wait for food. Didnt see the waitress again for the rest of our meal. Drinks NEVER refilled, missing utensils, NO KIMCHEE?!?!?! No offer to comp anything, they just acted like this was par for the course. I had boycotted this restaurant for a year because of bad service and mediocre food. Shame of me! Incredibly ridiculously BAD!! Owners: Please do the public a favor and just close this place down and find some other jobs.

I know nothing about Korean food so I cant comment on its authenticity etc, but I ate here with a friend who did live in Korea and we both loved it. I had the spicy pork bagogi (I think thats how you spell it) and it was delicious. It wasnt the cheapest but I easily made two meals out of it. I love Asian food, and I would definitely come here again. The service around lunch time was a little slow, but when I ate here for dinner the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

It was the worst Korean Restaurant I have ever been. You have to ask for everything, like forks, chopsticks, etc. they even dont have kid cup with lid. Wait for food for a long time. The quality of food is just fair but really expensive. I ordered Korean BBQ beef. It is $ 20, I will pay no more than $ 14 in other Korean restaurant to get the same kind food, even taste much better. They are just cheating nearby college students! Agree, they didnt refill drinks, very cheap, Dont Recommend!!!

Miyako will always hold a special taking my sushi v-card place in my heart. The staff is always friendly and grateful for your business. The food is delicious and delicately prepared. Tuesday nights are Sushi Special Nights with $1 Miso Soup or House salad and sushi priced from $2-$5. GREAT DEAL! The lunch boxes/bento boxes are not recommended however (the chicken terriaki is defrosted and dry like airline food). Sushi is incredible though.

Name changed to Koreana. Service was prompt, their steamed mandu and kimbop roll for appetizer was very good. Sushi chef stopped by our table to make sure everything met out expectations, which was nice. We had garbi, yuk-gae-jang and gal-bi tang, all was decent, not out of the world. We may stop back to get few orders of kimbop for our trip back to New Jersey to snack on.

Me and my 2 friends just sat at this place for over 30 minutes and our order was not even placed! So we left very disappointed. We didnt get beverages refill or the appetizer. Horrible service and the cook didnt look very clean.

We werent sure about it from the outside, but inside was a cosy atmosphere, fantastic music, great service, and delicious Korean food! The Dolsot Bibimbop was particularly great.

I got the bibimbop and it was so uninspiring!!!!! No flavor and the meat was basically minced beef. Was a complete waste of time.
