TLDR: decent prices, but confusing layout, customer service is nonexistent, and they dont take credit cards! >:( Went in super excited to try a new place - especially given that it is 24 hours and I work night shift. Found the layout to be somewhat confusing and despite encountering numerous employees was never offered any help (in fact, I felt like I was in their way which was awkward). The prices on most things seemed good - on par with Frys, if not cheaper in some areas. The produce section was a little sad looking so I passed on fresh fruits and veggies. Eventually found most of what I needed and was content. When I got to the register, I was even a little bit excited to see that I got to bag my own stuff! (Im from MN and grew up bagging everything on my own ; most stores here in AZ dont give enough space after the register for you to have time to bag your own stuff.) After the cashier finished ringing me up (without saying a word to me), I paused in bagging my groceries to pay. Swiped my card and didnt see the option to pay "credit" (only Debit and EBT). Inquired about this and the cashier stated that they only accept debit, cash and checks. This just ruined the entire trip for me - I spent almost an hour in the store trying to find everything and come to find out I cant bring any of it home with me because I only had $10 cash in my wallet. I commented that there should be a prominent sign on the door of the store and even in the ads they are constantly mailing out. I dont have a problem with a store not accepting credit, it just would have been really nice to know so I could have a) come prepared or b) not wasted an hour of my time shopping and end up driving home empty handed. Based on that ending, Im not sure if Ill go back yet.

I love WinCo! I have been shopping there since the Chandler store opened and have never walked into the "other" grocery stores since!! You cant beat their prices, items and shelves are always stocked, clean and very friendly.. if you are unable to find an item any employee will assist you and will walk you to the aisle and shelf! Produce and fruits are awesome and the best prices! Cant beat the bulk items either!! One request is .... can you add "Arizona Brand" corn tortillas? I like the other brand of Corn tortillas you sell which I use for Enchiladas and soft tacos but Arizona Brand sells corn tortillas (the tortillas are thinner and used solely for Tacos and Tostadas). I send my husband to the "other store" to buy just that item only!!! Thank you WinCo for being the best grocery store in Chandler with the best prices in town!!!!

Always clean, friendly employees, great prices, we love the bulk foods selection! You can get survival stuff here (shelf stable foods in buckets and MRE rations). You can make fresh peanut butter, almond butter or cashew butter in the store. They have a special machine that creams the nuts right there in front of you, into your container! Its always an adventure every time I go in there because they have cool stuff and new items on special that are always exciting and delicious!

Great prices on name brand items and other brands. Great selection of dried fruits and coffee, rice, cereal and flour. They also have a variety of bulk candy like tootsie rolls sold by the pound. They got the best prices for water and cereal. The produce prices are Fantastic. I love shopping at WINCO Anytime Im ready. All the stores Ive visited are clean and stocked To the max. Ive found my store for life!!!!! Thank you WINCO AND ALOHA a very happy Retired teacher!!!!

I feel like credit cards should be used. It states theyre not accepted due excessive banking fees but if your business is growing then those fees shouldnt matter. Great prices but the catch is, not being able to use credit cards and its not posted up in the store to indicate that, its outside where really nobody is looking so I didnt know until I bagged up 90% of the stuff and my boyfriend went to pay with his credit card and thts when he was told.

I like to Winco its a great place to get food I think its funny the comments that people dont want to buy their own groceries that is not a reason to write them lower this place is awesome. One downfall is that you cant use credit but luckily I had done it so I was ok. The deli department is awesome in there sandwich platters for 25 bucks is awesome I come here often and get those platters for work. Their customer service is phenomenal as well.

The prices are great, the produce is in good shape, employees are friendly and they have a huge selection. We only wish it was closer to home, we drive up from Maricopa 3 times a month! But its so much better than shopping at Walmart. I really like Frys, but the bulk bins and specialty organic items we can get at WinCo are less expensive and the selection is huge. Well keep coming here and keep hoping for another one closer to home.

The people who work here are complete idiots. They run out of common items in the mid afternoon on a Sunday when its a known busy time and day of the week. The management is never around to account for anything and does not hold employees accountable for anything. One time I witnessed an employee telling a customer he wished that someone would assassinate the president-elect. Really classy folks you have working there.

24 hours, great bulk selection, fantastic soda selection, great deli area and fairly priced meats? You win at groceries, WinCo. The non-bulk, non-meat sections can be a little sparse, somewhere between grocery and bulk store brand selections, but if youre not shopping for a specific brand of canned-something or boxed-something, you wont notice it missing.

Just as good as Costco! At this location you get friendly staff, clean environment, and plenty of selection. I really like the system they got going on here. If you go here I recommend the Sushi station, they make fresh sushi everyday and a reasonable price. come on Wednesdays for $5 sushi. I go here at least once every two weeks and you should too!

Do not shop here. Layout is confusing. Employees were not helpful. Was looking for honey and 3 employees gave me 3 different answers none of which were correct. Left store without the item i needed. Will tell everyone i know not to shop at Winco.

They have everything you could possibly want in their stores. Love their bulk food section for sure. Prices are very reasonable on most items. Like anywhere else, you have to compare prices as you buy!!! Great place to shop.... CA or AZ!!!

Love this store! Most prices are at or below Walmarts prices. The stores are clean and organized. The shelves are well stocked with plenty of Inventory and the aisles are wider than most grocery stores. Give a try if you havent been there.

Winco has the best prices & just about everything I need. Im able to buy much healthier food - fresh produce, eggs, milk & bulk items like nuts and baking supplies - because everything is so affordable that it fits in my budget.
