So, this is a BIG turkey burger, stuffed with mushrooms and gorgonzola cheese... good thing too, because it costs too much to afford any additional condiments. The stand alone burger is $10. I went to get their lunch special ($8.99) and it cost me $11.99 with the turkey burger! Pretty steep, Id say. (fries and drinks included) What was worse was the THIRTY MINUTES, yes, literally THIRTY MINUTES that it took to get my food. 12:53-1:23pm. By the time I had left, the place had died down. Maybe try the lunch special from 1:30-2pm, otherwise, plan to take a LOOOOONG Lunch. The turkey burger is good though, and much better than you get at 9/10 places, definitely not dry or bland. Im just not sure that it justifies the price point... The meat is actual meat, not really ground turkey... I am simultaneously pleased to be eating real meat, and weirded out because it looks odd visually. This is my second time eating here. Ill come back... got to save a few paychecks first. Never again on lunch hour though. You dont really need the fries... the burger is plenty filling. Id give 4 stars for the food, but the service takes it down a notch. It was very disorganized, and several people were served long after people who came 10-15 minutes after them. Also, the price point should be better... its a burger, after all.

I recently ate at the BGR located in Alexandria, VA on Washington Street and the food was horrible. I love BGR garlic fries. However, after eating there, I dont know if I ever want to eat them again. My fries were to greasy and they were almost cold. The burger was sloppy and the service was poor. I watched as 4 workers just hung out at the front counter talking. I used to see a lot of people go in this restaurant, so I assumed it was good place to eat. Lately I havent seen people in there and on the day that I decided to visit, the store was practically empty. That should have been a warning sign for me to leave. I spent $19.00 dollars for a burger and 2 order of fries. When you spend that kind of money on a burger and fries you expect satisfaction. I wont say, "dont go to BGR." "Just dont go to this location."

Decent burgers (I always get the Southwestern burger, rare, with bacon, lettuce and tomato added). The garlic fries are loaded with whole cloves of roasted garlic and the chocolate shakes taste like youre drinking a cold, liquid chocolate bar. If you like the $100K soda machine, thats cool too. Price is a little high for what you get (Elevation Burger is cheaper for equivqlent menu - including the cadillac soda machine; Five Guys is considerably less expensive). The parking at this location is non-existent. So, unless you happen to be in Old Towne doing other things, its not a good location for a random drop-in (the locations in Arlington and Springfield have actual parking) or a quick lunch stop from work.

Never got my burger or my drink that I ordered. I checked this place out hoping to find a good burger place and was terribly disappointed. I ordered a burger and fries to go and beer, asked the server if I could have the beer to drink while I waited. Never got my beer. They never even started my order after 15 mins of waiting. There were only 2 people working, neither of which looked like they wanted to be there. Only 3 people in the dining room, and about 3 more people came in after I placed my order. Inexcusably bad service.

Cheap eats...?! I paid $37 and some change for two people to eat lunch. It could have been less if we had split a fry and a drink, but for that much Ill go somewhere else. The soda machine that folks are talking about is broken or out of ice half the time. Dont go there for that alone. My burger was undercooked for my taste (ordered medium, got rare) and our sweet potato fries were overcooked. Service was okay, if a bit slow on the food. Atmosphere was just meh. Cute tables though.

The burgers are very good. They are cooked properly, and served hot, on good bread with quality accompaniments. Unfortunately, they are priced as is... as is meaning around $9avg for just the burger. Expect to pay upwards of $12 for one person if you intend on having fries and a drink. They offer a nice variety of beef alternatives as well, to include ground lamb (on the greek burger). As stated earlier, good, but a little steep for a beef patty.

First time and I thought why not try the feature of the month burger. Its called Bacon Apple Brie and is advertised as "our legendary burger with bacon, grilled apple, melted Brie, sautéed onions, spring mix, and a balsalmic glaze" for $9.99. Very disappointed to get the burger with no bacon and no sautéed onions. I had to go back to ask for them to finish the burger. No apology or anything. Wont be returning. Very tasteless as well.

This place understands the necessity of quality meat and fresh ingredients. My friend Josh and I stopped here for lunch and were surprised how well everything turned out. Try the apple and brie fall special; its amazing. It may seem pricey if youre used to McDonalds, but you;re getting some quality burger for your buck here. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. Good for kids and a great lunch stop on your tour of Old Town.

I come here regularly due to this locations closeness to my job, and I am glad to report that they do a terrific job. Always get my order right, even when I preorder over the phone; they all know me and treat me well, and to top it off, they offer various digital payment options, namely LevelUp, which I like using for reasons proper to myself.

The burgers are outstanding. They are thick and prepared to you liking. We had the Western BBQ burger and it was great. The onion rings on it were not undercooked and the meat was to the temperature we ordered. The staff is friendly, helpful, and informative. The Old Town location is our favorite, but all their locations are just as good.

Great to have another good burger place in Old Town Alexandria. This place does a pretty good job with the food, plenty of variety and great fries, but the service is often overwhelmed during the lunchtime rush. This leads to long waits after ordering (15-30 minutes or longer) and messy tables as the front of house gets neglected.

This place has one of the best burgers. I love the build your own burger. The toppings you can choose from are absolutely fantastic. I went there yesterday and the fries were perfect, not too salty and had that perfect crispity crunch. The burger was Keen on that super soft bun. I will definitely be going there again.

I ordered what I thought would be a serviceable ahi burger, and what I go t was so much more. The fish was perfectly done (even after spending time with delivery service). The dressing was nice and spicy, the grilled pineapple was good, and the pickled ginger was a perfect touch. Great meal.
