As a chef I am very picky about where I eat, I look for several things, price, quality of food, atmosphere and service....i received none of those things at this Diner, I love Diners...you usually get homemade comfort food at a great price ...not at this place ...if your black dont go here its obvious that not only do they practice racism but there customer base are rasict...from the moment we walked in it was apparent we were not wanted...the service was poor the waitress acted as if we were there to rob the place she gave no quality of service no friendliness , the food was purtrid except for the prefrozen appetizers...we tried to eat hurriedly and pay for our food and get out...i felt the evil stares of the customers as well as the waitress who tried her best to avoid us at all cost .i will never eat here again nor would I recommend it to anyone...if the idea tis to discourage black people from eating here by giving them poor service, making them feel uncomfortable and screwing up their food order, not offering them the courtesy of making it right , the only reason we paid but did not tip is because we didnt want to deal with the rasict cops that would have been called if we had walked out without paying these ppl arent worth that instead we paid didnt not tip, told the cashier and she did apologize, I told her if yall dont want blacks in here then put a sign on the door...( I know they cant) its the principal of it all...i dont eat pork as a chef, I know a lot of ppl mix ground pork into their beef meatballs to stretch them I tasted the pork...i ask the waitress if pork was in the meatballs and she lied...so I couldnt eat them, it could have kill me...but she didnt even offer to go find out....Smh...never again you RASICT, F**K...TOWSON DINER

Why do we keep coming here? I think its an old habit, or forgetfulness. We usually come here late night after 9pm because it is the only place open. We always leave feeling disappointed. The waitresses are nasty, and dont refill cups unless asked. If you do ask for a refill, they will give you dirty looks, or if its Polly (older waitress who has been there a while), she will rattle off some rude smart remark like "arent you a demanding one?". It makes us feel uncomforatble to ask for anything like butter, syrup, ect. We have seen the manager blatantly yelling (yes, actual shouting) at his employees, which made us lose our appetites. The food is often luke-warm, and sloppy. You will find utensils with dried soap scum (?) or something on them. The menu is large, but low quality. I have a feeling it is better during the day, but we have even tried that a few times, and then it is just louder and with less drunk people, but the same disappointment.

So, here are the only bad things. The food is more expensive than it would be at, say, IHOP. Some of the less ordered menu items (meatloaf comes to mind) are terrible. Good stuff: This place has the biggest menu of any restaurant I have ever seen in my life. Thats the only reason some of the food is bad. When you sell a dozen amazing Eggs Benedicts in the morning, nobody really pays attention to the meatloaf that only gets ordered once every month or so. And anything youd feel safe ordering at any restaurant is going to be great here. Theyre also Greek owned, and they have a handful of good Greek entrées like chicken souvlaki and spinach pies. Theyre open 24/7, I have never seen them closed. Its insane. Towson Diner isnt gourmet, but its good food whenever you want or need it.

First time and LAST! The place was empty and it took 2 minutes for someone to help me. Three waitresses were right there in front of me but failed to greet me. A guy then comes over and helps me out. The only thing good about my visit was my waiter and the home fries. As I sat and waited for my food, the whole staff just watched me. That was really uncomfortable. Then I go to the cashier to pay and she didnt say one word to me. I was very polite and she was just rude. She snatched my receipt and my money from me which I didnt like either. As I go to walk away, I overhear her talking to another customer and asking him if he enjoyed everything. Now why couldnt she be nice like that to me!? I will never go to this place again...

We shouldve just left when we were taken to a dirty table and when we asked them to clean it the man got an attitude and tried to act like it was clean. I had to point out the syrup all over the table. The floor was also horrible. We didnt come to pay to eat in filth. It is hard to mess up breakfast food but they found a way. Dry omelettes, cardboard bacon. The pancakes were must have come out of a white box that just said "pancakes" on it. Large Orange juice for 3 bucks was one of the smallest large glass Ive ever seen. The service was so so. The place is open 24 hours a day so I can only imagine any rating higher than two stars came from late night half drunk party goers!

We have been a few times, just when we were starving and it was convenient and we always swear we will never return. The food is greasy and bad and rarely made the way you ordered it. The waitresses are rude and bad at their jobs. The only positive was that the manager was quick to refund our money when it was clear that we were going to call the Baltimore County Health Dept. if he didnt. Oh, and dont forget the flies everywhere, they helped to create quite a lovely dining experience. Skip this "restaurant" unless you are drunk at three in the morning and dont care about food or service.

When I first came to Maryland from Michigan I thought no diner could compare to the classic Coney Islands in Flint and Detroit. The Towson Diner proved me wrong. Excellent selection of soups, sandwiches, burgers, and specialties, like fish. I had the chicken quesadilla on one visit, and the Reuben on another, and was greatly satisfied each time (with plenty of leftovers for the fridge). They also serve alcohol, which is a plus. Highly recommend their Maryland crap soup as well.

This restaurant is a joke. I came here years ago and had a horrible meal and thought maybe it had changed. Nope. Did not. The service was horrible. They kept forgetting everything and I had to eat half of my meal without a fork because everyone else at the table was eating. By the time everyone was done she came back with my fork, with our water and with the condiments that two of the people asked for. They had to eat their meal without condiments. Never again

Awful. Manager and a waitress walked by my empty iced tea glass fourteen times in 10 minutes, never noticing it empty or offering a refill. (Was never offered or brought ice water or I would have drank that.) Pork chops were sooo overcooked and tough that the steak knife provided broke it two trying to cut the meat. I was never asked how is everything? If you are not going for breakfast or dessert, dont go.
