Just like home...if home is Hawaii. I usually grab a slice when I stop by a Hawaiian eatery b/c my toddler loves their cakes. For her birthday, I made the haul down from Lynnwood and picked up 2 cakes...b/c not everyone loves Chocolate (that would be me). Since my daughters 3rd birthday was dinosaur themed, I ordered the Dobash which is perfect b/c it already comes with "dirt" topping. Just added some cake decorations and chocolate rocks and voila...ready to go. Dobash for people who dont know if like a light chiffon style chocolate with a more pudding like frosting vs. traditional heavy frosting. They have a bunch of other flavors and breads at the bakery. Guava, Lilikoi, Coconut and even Malasadas! Tack on that Kauai Family Restaurant is next door and voila...here comes my food coma! Nom Nom!!

If you love desserts that remind you of Hawaii, this us the place to come! Their Guava cake is amazing as well as the Passion Fruit. The cake is super soft and light, the cream light (between the two layers-think whipping cream) and the flavored frosting is like a thickened jello. Cake comes in large square slices at about $4.50 a piece or whole cakes can be purchased. Special orders can also be taken.

Always a great place to go for yummy cakes and desserts. Family oriented Hawaiian location with a restaurant attached. Quick service and easy to order, including ahead of time. I always highly recommend here for any events or recommendations. Weve been coming here for as long as I can remember and will continue to come here.

I ordered my cake online through an easy process. I got a confirmation email the next day. My cake was ready on time, and was amazing! I ordered a half sheet of pineapple coconut and everyone loved it - the cake was dense enough to serve plenty of people, and the chunks of pineapple and coconut made it so tasty.

This Renton location closed in October 2015. Unfortunately the company they subleased from shut their business down which resulted in Cakes of Paradise having to shut this location down. Their main location is located just about 10 mins north, right off the Corson/Michigan Exit in Georgetown!

New owners with a new menu, still teriyaki, but now Chinese and Korean items on the menu. The house stir fry has all protein options with a good mix of veggies on noodles, enough to satisfy my "wheres the meat" husband. The bibimbop is good and I cant wait to try the bulgolgi next.

We went stopped in here after going to Kauai Family Restaurant next door. My spouse is totally in love with their delicious cakes and we will definitely be going back. I tried the Haupia which was awesome. But, now, I need to try their beautiful looking custard pie!

The most delicious cakes at amazing prices. I love this place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The pineapple and the coconut are my personal favorites. Although the cakes are gorgeous we just enhanced one for a friend It was amazing. Will post photo....

Not much more to say but great all around. Cant really go wrong with any choices - only real downside is what to choose. The coffee is excellent also. Parking is not easy - the only reason not to go to Schubert.

I absolutely love the guava cake. I have been blessed to have guava cakes for my last two birthdays. We also enjoy the paradise puffs, chantilly cake and rainbow cake. Well worth the drive from BOTHELL!
