Employees are usually very friendly. We have had some less than acceptable experiences but they seem to weed out the rude and/or unfriendly employees quickly. Unfortunately, when you are in fast food and constantly having to hire people you get some of those who dont really care about their job. Our last couple of times there we have had outstanding service! Keep smiling and being friendly! Customers love that and it makes your day go by much faster and with much less stress. We are a family of 7 and have been Cook-Out customers for over 15 years since we lived in Greensboro, NC and are happy to have locations here in the Richmond area.

Just left cookout, the people working the drive-thru were rude. Kept talking over me while I was trying to order. The young man who took my money, rolled his eyes when I asked for a drink tray. We had to go back and go inside to get straws and napkins. While my daughter was inside getting those, I checked the orders, mine was supposed to be chicked, hush puppies and fries, no fries. My granddaughters was supposed to be chicken strips, chicken nuggets and fries, no chicken nuggets. Im so pissed with the customer service, I DIDNT EVEN BOTHER GETTUNG MY IRDERS CORRECTED!! And I will not be back!!!

Its Easter Sunday and I go to this cookout to have some milkshakes with my family. I walk in and the girls at the counter who are taking orders are so rude. They look at me like they dont know why Im there and talk to me like Im stupid. They hardly make eye contact and they do not smile or thank you or even ask you what you would like. They just look at you with these stupid looks on their faces. Love the burgers and stuff but the girls at the counter taking orders can really go somewhere else with their horrible little attitudes. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

Cookout is a reminder of how Fast Food should be! The burgers are incredible, the service is fast, and the employees are motivated. The menu is a bit daunting, but I really dont think you can go wrong with a selection. 10 dollars goes a long way here. The inside of the store is clean, inviting, and has a family atmosphere. If youre craving a late night bite, Cookout should be your first choice. Their service stays fast, and they operate with their full menu until 3am! I have to recommend the cheddar burger, as the gooey cheese is a signature of theirs.

Cookout is fast and offers a varied menu from burgers to chicken and barbeque. Great fries awesome onion rings and huge selection of milkshake flavors. The prices are good and you get what you pay for, no surprises. Probably the best thing about Cookout is the hours. Mostly all Ive them in the Richmond area are open late with extended hours on the weekends. The drive throughs stay busy as do the walk up Windows. On Midlothian theres a dining room which makes family visits all the easier. Great choice for fast dining.

Just left cookout on May 3rd 2015 at 9:00pm ... not only was the girl working the drive thru not very friendly at all... our order was wrong.... she didnt ring up everything we ordered even though she read it back to us exactly as we ordered and gives me a price of $17 and change. . Get to the window. . Get our stuff.. its not all there.. oh I didnt ring that up... oh I didnt ring that up either... are you freaking kidding me!! Dont think Ill be going back!! EVER!! Worst customer service!!

I used to love your shakes, but a couple of days ago my family ordered shakes again and they were different! It taste like your now using ice milk as a substitute for ice cream in order to save money. They are gross now and I wont be getting any more until you change it back after your shake sales plummet because somebody made a decision to cheapen them to save money. Well, you lost my business. How long will it take and how much money do you have to loose in order to change it back?

I bought a quesadilla expecting it to be like the ones I usually order as appetizers at other restaurants but man I was dead wrong. I got a burnt tortilla shell with very few pieces of chicken and drenched in cheese. Eww I still cant get the taste out of my mouth. I also had an average "run of the mill" burger. The burger was neither good nor bad, but the quesadilla killed it literally. After the first bite I chucked it in the garbage

The girl taking my order tonight wouldnt even let me talk. And wjen I tried to change something on my order, I couldnt even get anyone to answer me!! Had to drive around to window, when I asked them to switch one item out for another? They acted like it was such a problem!! If you do not want to work there, if it is such a problem serving the public? Then you shouldnt not be working there!!!

Waited in the drive through line literally 20 minutes. Got to the window horrible customer service, employees did not say a word just stuck my drink out the window while looking away took my payment and handed me the food all without looking at me. Just got home and my order is all wrong and ofcourse go online to get a number to call and there are no numbers listed.

My son and I went yesterday. We had stop going after awhile because it seem like the burgers had gotten smaller. The food last night was back to a good size. The Bar-B-Q sandwich last night was even bigger yummy! We will continue coming back again. We love the milkshakes as well. Now only if they can get rid of the rude staff That took my order.

Affordable fast food with decent quality and quantity, for the price. we go for the pork platter and chickens fingers, and cant leave without getting milkshakes for all. It is a busy place in the evening; a favorite with the high school crowd. Great when you are on the go and want something more than just a burger.

Hmm...Went through drive thru and had to repeat my order serval times so I just decided to go inside. I dont like the fact of them touching the ring(mouth) of the cups when passing them off to the customer. Burger was quite on the burnt side...Ive never had horrible cookout other than when I was in Hampton,va...

I have been going to the cookout since I went to school in Raleigh North Carolina today was a terrible day I received a total of 15 Frys at the Richmond location on Midlothian and I am not happy with that Ive never had that experience at that same location I really want my money back for that waste of money

When this cookout opened I was happy I didnt have to drive across town but now they are starting to go downhill my mom and I ordered food and her order was wrong know why to call and tell them my order was wrong. Seems like burgers have gotten smaller. At least the milkshakes were good

Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I wouldnt post a phone number for this store either, Im sure they got tired of all the complaints. You need new staff members, preferably ones that dont slam the window after shoving your food out of it, and that can actually say thank you.
