NEVER EAT HERE! The most horrible food I have ever had in my life! I would rate it a negative, not even a zero! Being a huge foodie, I have ate at a lot of places, and nothing was even near to being as horribly yucky as this place. The place always seemed empty when i drove past it and now I know why! I was checking for Indian food places to cater for an event I was hosting and hence tried this one too. I asked for samplers for a few dishes I had short-listed and the woman there said she couldnt give us samplers for two reasons- one, that they dont have it and two, she just couldnt afford to give two spoonfuls of a couple of dishes for free !( even when we were ordering food for over fifty people!). She asked us to BUY food and try it and that "if you like one dish, you will like everything". When I bought dinner and had it with my family, all of us thoroughly hated all the three dishes we bought. So all their will deserve the same I guess! To start with, even a kid can tell that the food is stale. Very stale. The aloo bindi was all under-fried bhindi and no aloo! The chicken saag had tandoori chicken pieces in it! The chicken was orange in color to go with the green colored saag. And it was slimy! There was something that was in it that made it slimy!! The mutton rogan josh was a totally different color to start with! looks like they made a common curry and they would add mutton/chicken pieces to it and serve! maybe one ingredient would be added and made it into a different dish and fools the customers. And the mutton pieces were super chewy. It lacked flavor big time and it was no way near what mutton rogan josh is supposed to look like! Oh, and the portions too are less compared to better tasting Indian restaurants like Bombay House and Tandoor!. When we went to the restaurant, there were only two people in the restaurant. Just 2! No surprises now, because this place doesnt even deserve them!! Ill always remember this restaurant. Because this is the worst ever Indian food I have had and maybe ever will! I hope we dont end up with some infections from stale food! I seriously wonder how this place is still alive!

I had a take-out order and had ordered some raita, a condiment that really was essential to my meal- and they forgot it. Everyone makes mistakes though, so I called and asked if I had been charged for the raita. The head of house responded, "Oh yes, you were charged [however much it was]." And that was it. No "sorry", no offer to remedy the situation. Just silence after telling me I was charged for something I didnt receive- like it wasnt even and issue. So I said, "Okay, well I do have some leftovers and I would like to receive what I payed for." He asked what time I would be picking it up. Still no sorry, no pleasantry- nothing. So I go to pick up the rest of what I paid for. Not convenient, right? Also a bummer that I didnt have it initially, when I ate most of my meal. Ya think he could say something, anything?! to address the mistake. No sorry for the inconvenience, no coupon. Nothing but a flat, unfriendly face handing me the rest of what I paid for on a second, inconvenient trip back to the restaurant. Much, MUCH friendlier people at Bombay house. Doesnt seem like the people at India House care about their customers.

I eat out almost every meal. A home cooked meal ,or even a bowl of cereal is a rare luxury for me. I dont even know if, or why my fridge is plugged in. I do however know who has good food in this valley, so pay attention;-) I have been to almost every restaurant in the state 5 times! I have been to this restaurant a hundred times! It is some of the best damn food in the valley!! It is highly addictive and consistently delicious! Go for the food!!! (and the awesome Indie pop music:) Get to know Gill (the young owner) and his awesome new wife, and you will instantly become a regular like Jacine and I. If you dont like the food at India House, you probably wont like the Tiburon or Ruths Chris Steak House either. My recommendations for 2 people (which you should print right now, cause i know what Im talking about:-) Starter- Meat Samosas, (keep the sauces for the potato Naan) Main- Chicken Tikka (mild) Chicken Tikka Masala (medium) Pile all together on your plate over rice and enjoy! Side- Potato Naan 2 great extras_ Mango drink Peshwari Naan

Their service has been really good! They didnt try to bother us too much. They came when me and my boyfriend were quiet but when we were locked in conversation, they didnt come to bother us. I liked that because a lot of waiters at other restaurants like to bother you every 10 minutes. Great service doesnt mean to come all the time, it means to come when you think youre needed or when acceptable. Their curries were amazing!! Their spicy actually means spicy!! Not mild spicy, its Ill burn your stomach spicy!! So watch out!! I would love to dine in again! I looove their atmosphere, it wasnt crazy busy and it wasnt empty either. It looked really nice inside, I would have to come back for their buffet sometime! Their portions for the price were...okay, a little bit on the expensive side. You get a small bowl of curry but even though you think its only a little bit, it really does fill you up. I almost couldnt finish my meal! Definitely come here again when I can or if Im in the area.

Best Indian food in town! I LOVE THIS PLACE! There are reviews on here of people who have had bad experiences, and all I can say is I DONT CARE!!!! I believe some people like to OVER EXAGGERATE their experience. I have been eating here for several years, and thought it is time to review this place! I can tell you that after your experience you will crave this stuff like crazy!! Chicken tikka masala, and Chicken Tikka are my favorite dishes! I have tried numerous indian restaurants all over, and no one makes chicken tikka the way they do! My recommendations: Chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, chicken coconut korma, karahi chicken, chicken biryani, raita, garlic naan, butter naan, regular naan, onion naan, veg samosa, chicken pakoras... THE LIST CAN GO ON!!! I love getting take out from this place! I cant imagine my life without this food, its just so damn good!!

India house has the best Indian food I have ever had. Everything tastes homemade, and all of the staff are very polite and helpful. I have gone here several times and it is extremely pleasant every time. I ordered food to pick up and take back to my job during my lunch break today, but I ended up having to finish a report and I was not able to pick up my order. I called India House, and informed them of my situation. They were more than willing to deliver it to my work so I could still have my delicious food. I offered to pay for the delivery charge, since I was not originally charged it because I was going to pick up my order. They declined and did not make me pay the delivery charge, even though I offered several times. I am so happy with my service here. The food is amazing and I plan on coming here whenever I am craving Indian food!
