One of the best Asian restaurants in Utah. Great quality food at great prices with excellent ingredients. The attendants are welcoming, courteous with a warm zen like Tibetan personality. We have tried both Lunch Buffet, an excellent choose for first timers or if you are starving and in a hurry during the day. Tibetan and Buddhist iconography adorns the place beautifully, offering an authentic visual spectacle while we eat. All the menu choices are fantastic, but the lamb and vegetarian entree choices are beyond awesome. Eggplant is mouthwatering and so are the veggie dumplings with special sauce/chutney. They can also cook Indian food better than most other Indian restaurants such as a Star of India, Saffron Valley, Bombay House etc. Further, They are far more hygienic and quality conscious. The desserts, especially the puddings are beautifully done with minimal sugar. Very edifying experience! We make sure we eat here at least once a month, its our favorite go to place! And a special thanks to his Holiness Dalai Lama for leading such an elegant, good, honest people during these rough times. Me, my wife, and our new baby cant thank you enough

I stopped in here on a whim on my way to Liberty Park. Its a cozy ethnic restaurant with a small all-you-can-eat buffet selection. I would like to see more variety but the food is delicious and well prepared. Im really picky with my meats and textures, often I find meats in dishes at restaurants are full of gristle and or large chunks of fat so I was EXTREMELY pleased that their chicken curry had hand trimmed, lean cubes.

I had the chicken sweet and sour soup, that was fantastic. BUT then we had the chicken pakora, butter chicken curry and chicken curry and holy wow it was so salty. I have never been to a restaurant where the food was that salty. We couldnt taste anything else. There was very little to no curry taste at all. I was so disappointed and wouldnt go back.

I was blown away with how delicious and on point the food was here! Started with egg drop soup, main dish was the chicken curry, and I topped it off with the sweet soy chai-which they bright out as an entire pitcher! And a soy rice dessert which was tasty! Will definitely come again when Im in town before going back to the airport.

Not big on ambiance, but the food is fabulous. Ive been several times now and Im never disappointed. Great lunch buffet, delicious menu, friendly service, very reasonable prices. The only thing I didnt like was that there is no changing table in the restrooms, so just be aware of that if youre bringing kids.

House of Tibet is an unexpectedly good restaurant. As the proudly advertise, there are many vegetarian options, and they are very good. The Pho is also quite nice, but certainly not the best that I have had in town. The drink menu is limited to a few beers and wines, so plan accordingly.

Good vegetarian place with 10/13 dishes vegetarian in their buffet. Vegetarian dishes are delicious and rice pudding desert is sweet. It was 9 bucks a person so it was very cheap. Their meat dishes are not very good. Id especially stay away from the chicken.

Went with my girlfriend, best Indian-style food ever!!! I got the lamb vind aloo which was both of our favorites. She got the Chicken Hot Pepper which was really good(and spicy) as well. Service was somewhat slow but it was worth it.

Best tibetan food in salt lake. Great especially if you are vegetarian. The lunch buffet has always been an unbelievably good deal. The momo are a must, be sure put sauce on them. Also be sure to load up on noodles and curry.

I love this place! The employees are personable, the music is soothing, and the food is wonderful. Its decorated in the style of a 1980s Tibetan truck stop, but its fantastic.

Delicious Food! This is one of my favorite restaurants. In addition to the spicy food, their dessert is also good. The Kheer tastes similar to Horchata.

Rude customer service. The lady their literally hates her job and it shows. The food would be better if the employees acted better.
