They charged $20 tip without my permission. Our bill came out as $75 so we left $15 cash tip. But they charged $95 instead. We brought this issue to the manager twice. First she told us she would need time to find their merchant receipt. So we gave her a few more days. We never got her call back. We called again, and the manager said we did not leave any tip so they charged and they couldnt find their merchant receipt. What the heck? Really? What happened to $15 cash tip we left? It was a guy who took our bill and he even asked us if the cash was left as tip. We said yes. Even though we didnt leave tips, really?

I love Mala. When you order spicy food as a white person, most places just wont humor that idea, but Mala gets it. They know what spicy is and theyre not afraid to dish it out. Best things Ive had here are the triple fresh pepper chicken, dry braised chicken, and pork in garlic sauce. Im determined to try their entire menu. Love the food and variety of flavors.

The 水煮鱼片(water cooked fish slices?) were delicious and worth the money. I gave it a four stars because we ordered two other dishes and they were average at best. The 香菇菜心was very standard and not bad but not worth that much money. We also got the 麻辣锅, but there were so few pieces of lamb that its kind of deceiving. Overall still not bad though

Service was poor as if they had never seen African Americans before. We requested food mild and it was spicy. Had them package leftovers. They picked all the chicken out of the chicken dish and packaged seasonings which was mainly peppers. I discovered when i went to eat leftovers at my sons place. Avoid this place like plague.

Distinct mala flavor in large, customizable, shareable bowls. The spiciness is not the same as that from chilli peppers; so even those who normally shy away from fiery foods might still enjoy the fragrant, numbing mala spice. Only regret was not ordering noodles in the mala bowl. But it was still great!

I dont know what to say. I dont even want give one star. But I have to. I have been there couple of times. The works are very unfriendly. And one of the fat lady with glasses in the front has really bad attitude. And she do not know how to respect customers. This is the thing that pissed me off.

Their flagship offering is where you can pick and choose all kinds of meats and veggies and they will use mala sauce to cook for you in a big wok. If you like Sichuan cuisine, you cant miss this. A lot of other dishes are very good as well, for instance, lamb skewers.

Great place for Chinese food! They got tons of options to choose and nicely cook. Gotta love the vibes here but try come little early because there is a lot of people here. However, their shrimp is not peel so it is very annoying to peel it yourself.

Unreliable hours. You come at 10:30, full half hour before they are supposed to close - to be told that they are "closed." Because they dont feel like working. Very unreliable and unprofessional.

Great spicy food, delicious noodles and so many authentic grilled food. I have to go this place twice a month, even drive more than an hour.
