After reading the reviews I was terribly disappointed. I got beef tips and rice and it was disgusting. First of all who puts bell pepper and onion in beef tips and rice? The beef was burned, dry and tasteless. I had 9 pieces of beef and over 20 each of onion and bell pepper. I feel ripped off and the dish was just disgusting. Maybe the rest of the menu is good but DO NOT GET THE BEEF TIPS AND RICE!!! I wont be going back based on this experience.

I love coming here with my family .... It is a very family oriented atmosphere, great food and large portions for the price .... #budget friendly. Staff is wonderful ..... Down to MS Lisa to her beautiful daughter ...again family friendly ....as for the one who complained about the beef tips , they are very accommodating ..if you didnt like it tell them,they will fix it for you

The waffle is great. There are a lot of options for add-ins. I had mine plain, but my friends added nuts. The chicken skin was crispy and well seasoned and piping hot. Our waitress was very nice. The kitchen is a little slow but your food will arrive warm. Dont order the malt. It lacks the depth of good ice cream and there was no malt flavor. Its pretty, though.

Had high hopes for this place. Food is good but not the staff. Not all of the staff, but the staff no less, are very unprofessional. I was actually asked if I was going to sit on the toilet all day after I left... not sure I need to say anything else. Will never go back. Fire the loud obnoxious broken arm lady and I could stand to go back. Maybe

My first visit to Hanz Diner... Service was great, family friendly, very clean place - dont be worried about the location or outside view, just step inside and enjoy the warmth of a family feel. Food was great.. I ordered two eggs over medium, hashbrowns, bacon and toast.. big portions and very good. I will definitely be going back!

This is a hidden gem on the north side. The food is really good. I had a bacon double cheeseburger that was HUGE! It was so Amazing and juicy along with the Cajun fries. The pancakes will cover the entire plate. Where has this place been all my life. The owner, Lisa, and her daughter, Raven, are personable and friendly. A must eat.

Always a great time at Hanz Diner!! The food is spectacular, the service is exceptional, and the venue is getting shaped up very nicely, for a store thats been open less than a year! The catfish nuggets are to die for, and if you want something specially made, theyll do everything they can to make it! Definitely a top notch spot!

Me and My family Absolutely Love this place! unfortunately its a bit of a drive; but we try to go at least once a month. They have a very welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is Amazing! and You get Large portions for a Very Inexpensive price!

Local spot. Closes early, services breakfast all day. Very friendly and helpful waitresses. However, the coffee is watered down and the fried fish is very bland, I mean no seasoning at all! Their pancakes are late size, very big and thin, but delicious.
