They will try to rip you off! If youre clearly not a peruvian, youve never been there before, or you seem like a nice person, they are likely to try and take advantage of you. For example, I ordered a small dish for $15 and she brought out the large that cost $30. Being that it was my first time there, I didnt realize she had done that until the check was double the expected. She definitely knew she ripped of her client. They also made other mistakes on other parts of the order. Go to a different peruvian place, even if this place is authentic, there are other authentic peruvian places around that wont attempt to take advantage of "gringos". Most peruvian restaurants have the typical wonderful and polite Peruvians we all love, not this place.

Great authentic food. This is a place for Peruvians looking to get Peruvian food. Try the Inca Cola, a golden soda that vaguely resembles bubble gum ( better than it sounds) Try the ceviche mixto with calamari, fish and other seafood marinated in lime juice and spices...its so refreshing and has a pleasant bite to it. The Lomo Saltado ( steak and fries with rice and plantains ) is also good. Come here with an open mind and try what they suggest. Trust me it will be delicious

The larger steaks were delicious, although the smaller cooked meats were tough. For sides, the rice and beans exist mainly to balance the meal nutritionally, and offer little in the way of taste, however the fries are some of the best Ive ever had. The empanadas were above average, and cheap, although I wouldnt go here just for them. The rest of the meal got expensive quickly, feeding two clocking in at just under $50. This was without alcohol, although it is served there.

First and last time eating at this restaurant. Terrible service with a nice overcharge on my bill at the end (Didnt even bother to fuss about it). Seems like they couldnt get anything right, new staff members maybe? Food was sub-par, for basically 20$ a plate youd except a good quantity amount of food, but this wasnt the case. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. 2 thumbs down 0/5 stars

I came here because I heard that they served one of my favorite Peruvian dishes. Which they did, but I ordered it with beef and they served me lamb. I thought it was no big deal because I like lamb. But the lamb was really gamey and almost tasted like turkey. Then they charged me $10 more for the lamb that I didnt ask for. I wasnt happy. They wouldnt do anything but say sorry. Terrible customer service.

La moyoria de los platos son buenos pero no todos. La ultima vez que estuve aquí fue como medio mes atrás y el servicio fue muy lento. Casi me fui sin comer y eso que no estaba lleno.

I got the Bistek A La Parrilla. I asked for medium well and got it bloody raw in the middle. They threw it back on the grill for 1 minute and it was barely rare. The rice and salad were insipid. I kept telling my wife we got better steak with a better selection of sides at Outback and Longhorn in a much nicer building for about the same price. She thought it was too expensive as well.

Had dinner at Puro Peru on a Friday evening, the place was clean, pleasant and the food was authentic. Served a two year mission in Peru, so I know what good Peruvian should taste like, Puro Peru did a great job. Great chicha morada, great Papa a la huancaina and canchita! Price could be slightly better, but friendly staff, clean restrooms. Overall I would highly recommend.

Havent bee there for very long. Last week we went there the luch special was very Delicius but my carapulcra was not good at all. if you want Aji de gallina or carapulcra this is not a good place they make the Aji de gallina with chicken strips and the carapulcra with yellow pepper who knows about Peruvian food know that this is not the right way to make these dishes.

SO GOOD!!!!! I have no idea what I was eating but I didnt care. It was great! Went on a Friday night while they were full and had a band playing. If you werent having a great time it was your own fault. I tried three different dishes and they were all great. I still dont know what they were. Will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends.

My boyfriend and I had never had Peruvian food before and decided to give it a try yesterday....WOW! It was soooooo good! Our server (I think his name was Rob) was VERY helpful in explaining the menu to us and the food we got was so yummy. We cant wait to go back and try other menu items and maybe even a dessert next time.

I absolutely adore this place! It has earned its spot as a regular in my dining out rotation. The weekend atmosphere is awesome with live music. This place still seems to be a hidden treasure so you can usually get in with no wait at all even on the weekend. The Lomo Saltado is to die for! I could drink that sauce!

No hay cocción adecuada en sus comidas y si sazón estilo peruano les falta, el personal mo está atento a sus clientes hay que ir a llamarlos...

Food was ok, couldve been more filling. Im 2nd gen Peruvian, but was charged WAY more here for a meal than at a traditional place, with no explanation (what shouldve been ~$16 anywhere else was ~$24 here). You should be able to get more for your money (food, service, experience) elsewhere.

It was tasty enough. A bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion. The food was worth the trip but they certainly could upgrade their space. It teaters on both a bar/stage type of place and restaurant. The space isnt big enough to offer both but they cram both into it.

Guys, this place is legit. I had no idea what Peruvian food really was to be fair going into this so if you know how good it should be you can ignore me and listen to people more in the know. All I can say is the food is like Chinese mixed with Latin and it is amazing.

I have never had Peruvian food, and I was pleasantly surprised. Their Ceviche is so so good. We got the mix, and all the seafood was perfectly cooked and flavored. Everything else we tried was yummy, and the service was quick and friendly.

Amazing Peruvian food. My cousin and I who both spent years in Peru found it very authentic. The restaurant with friendly staff brought back many tasty memories. I would recommend it to anyone looking to experience a little taste of Peru.

Food is good but sometimes it takes too long for the food to come out. You get large portion for great prices. Especially for the jalea which is a fishermens platter, it is the largest platter that ive ever seen for jyst about 20 bucks.

The waiter was amazing. He asked if we enjoyed the food and seemed genuinely pleased we said yes. The atmosphere was wonderful. If you like Peruvian food you might love this place. My dish was good but not my favorite type of food.
