What a great cozy quaint restaurant. Driving by, I Stumbled across this apparently new restaurant, and decided to give it a shot, considering how much I enjoy sushi. I had the pleasure to dine there last Saturday July the 30th, accompanied by my wife whos also a sushi lover. First of all Id like to complement the owner for the top notch customer service we have experienced that night. The Sashimi was an A+, which proves the freshness of their seafood. Enjoying our sake, we decided to nibble on some appetizers appetizers, such as fresh (and I mean fresh) spring rolls, Som Tum (Green papaya with carrots peanuts...) and Satay Gai (Chicken on skewer). We finished up our meal a Basil fired rice and the chicken yellow curry. Savory delicious dishes, not to mention the great portions. It was a great relaxing evening for us and were looking forward for another visit soon. Highly recommended.

Worst food and experience ever. We waited over 2 hours for our order and then it took 3 times for the delivery driver to get us our entire order. On the 3rd time the driver dropped a can of soda on my girlfriends foot and without apology briskly walked away. I am now sitting in the damn ER while my GF gets stitches in her foot. When I called the manager he called me a liar and demanded I send him pictures and called me a multitude of names before he hung up on me. Stay away from this business. For the love of god stay away. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. God damn...I have less faith in humanity simply from dealing with this place. May god have mercy on us all. Please take your business elsewhere. There is such better Thai food at other establishments without the fear of bodily harm.

Nisa Thai offers a wide range of Asian cuisine, from Thai favorites to pho to sushi the choices are endless. Their food is delicious and well composed with plenty of options of appetizers and entrees. If youre a vegetarian, there are great dishes to choose from (even a few vegetarian sushi!). Nisa Thai also offers lunch specials (main entrees coming with salad while sushi coming with miso soup), a must stop for the money conscious university students just around the corner. The interior of Nisa Thai is worth noting as well. From the fish sculptures lining the window sill to the vibrant colors used throughout the restaurant, Nisa Thai is well decorated and fun. Theres even a small but charming sushi bar at the front of the restaurant, presenting a variety of experiences for customers.

Food was never delivered. Called 4 times regarding order. After 2 hours wait we requested refund. Was told to contact EatStreet (online ordering service), who processed refund request quickly and helpfully. Nissa Thai failed to deliver food, kept insisting it was on its way, never offered any kind of discount, hung up on me when I was supposed to be on hold, didnt answer when I called back (probably were ignoring my caller ID), I called them again on my husbands phone and (low and behold) they picked up (thats when I asked for refund), said they couldnt refund, when I said fine Id call EatStreet the manager said he would call his delivery guy and have him come back w/o delivering.... Never EVER ordering from them again!

Delicious food, huge portions, reasonable prices. The non thai food is pretty good too. Its rare to find a place that has sushi, thai, pho, and good chicken wings all under one roof. Ive eaten at every thai restaurant in town and this is the best value. Sang jun is up the street but got expensive and decreased portions.

Richmond has no shortage of Thai restaurants, but all of them lack the variety served at Nisa Thai. Most of you think your favorite Thai spot in RVA is the best or the most traditional, but only Nisa gets it right in every area. Amazing food, service, and a menu that contains exactly what you want.

Absolute best Pad Thai in Richmond!! Try the Thai Iced tea as well!! Every time I go in there, I receive excellent service from the servers. Definitely try Nisa Thai.
