Dirty tables and left out buffet food, stop on by! My experience took place during the week after the dinner rush hours in Nov. 2015. I arrived around 8pm and was greeted promptly by the cashier. I was then shown to a booth where the table was hastily wiped down and still felt sticky and cruddy. I waited close to 5 minutes for a server to come to my table even though there seemed to be a server in my area that was just cleaning. Didnt have the decency to acknowledge me and at least give me a courtesy "be right with you" After 5 minutes, I finally was served with a drink order and proceeded to the buffet. I found the buffet to be terrible. The food was cold and seemed to be out forever, and it didnt seem to be restocked. After dinner I went to use the mens restroom. It was really disgusting, out of toilet paper, out of hand towel paper and dirty all over. There was a cleaner who showed up in the bathroom after I did but who knows how long the bathroom went like that. I had a better buffet than this on temple ave, but all Chinese food buffets in SLC area are terrible. This was the worse. Overall: PROS - Greeted by greeter nicely (not by server) - Price was decent (but not for quality of food) - Great location in a small unique China town area CONS: - Bad service from wait staff - Bad food - Dirty tables and facilities If I could do it over again, I would save my money and avoid this Chinese buffet restaurant.

This place is absolutely biased. Ive been eating here for a while. On this particular day I came in to eat. I offered the older lady at the cash register my credit card, she was punching the credit card machine strangely. She handed back my card and a printed paper from the machine showing my card was declined. I gave her another card, she did the same thing. I offer her a third card, the samething happened. I honestly thought something was wrong with my cards, in all honesty, there are substantial amount of money on all the cards. I opened my wallet, luckly I had cash on me and paid for the food with cash. This woman was causing my credit card to decline on purpose with intention to turn me away from the restraurant. How do I know that? Immediately after leaving the restaurant, I went to a gas station to fill my tank with the card thinking it will decline, low and hehold, the card was okay. I went into the gas station and gave them my second card to buy soft drink, the card was accepted. I realised that the woman whom I believe is the wife of the owner cunningly and craftly wanted to turn me away from the place for reason best known to them. Ive never been back and will never go back there or recommend the place. I DO NOT WISH THEM WELL.

Ive always refrained from writing a review but dear god...this is sure the worst food experience Ive ever had. came in with no expectations and right off the bat the place from the outside looks big but once you get inside the space is so small and crowded, then once I proceeded to get my food the selections where so basic and you could CLEARLY tell some of the food had not been changed from god knows when. Ive worked in restaurants for 10 years top to bottom so I say Ive become partial to restaurants who try to make something out of nothing, but this time I cannot get over of how awful everything was; overpriced,a Godamn microwave just sitting there,old almost close to expiration food sitting there for endless hours, and the final straw was the temperature of the food sitting in grill area... CHICKEN AND BEEF THAT WAS ROOM TEMPERATUERE. Just avoid going to this place.

I dont know why my fiance keeps taking us there. Ive gotten sick the last 3 times now. Their service, selection, & food quality all Suck. They dont know English so they dont bring anything you ask for (napkins, drinks, straws, silverware, paper towels for the bathroom, ect...) if you can even manage to get a servers attention. Why are they even there? Seems pointless. They dont even switch out the old trays nor food. Just mix in the new with the old. If something, like the tartar sauce, doesnt get used by the lunch crowd, there it still sits, at dinner time, all dried up on top. Im filing a complaint with the health department while I lay here in bed sick as a dog thanks to these idiots. One of whom is my fiance for continuing to eat there. No more! And I dont know why this thing says I gave it 2 stars. If I could, it would be -5!

This place was disgusting. The meat at the buffet wad cold and we got there right as they opened on a Saturday, so either the food wasnt cooked all the way or they were serving us yesterdays left overs. It was slimy and the cream cheese in the cheese wontons was chunky and sour tasting. The guy at the grill looked pissed off and was rude. The floors look like they havent been mopped or swept in months. Dont even get me started on the bathrooms!!! We tipped our waiters one dollar... I know the servers arent responsible for food quality, but the entire time we were eating, they were literally just standing around chatting... with floors that dirty, its not like they couldnt have found something better to do with their spare time... My family will never eat here again.

The food was horrible, the service was horrible, and the lack of choices was horrible. I dont understand why this place gets so many good reviews. I was not impressed by any means. When we got there, there was a long line to wait to be seated. Once seated, went up to get our food and there was a lack of choices not to mention there was hardly anything left. They had no choices for the kids. Pizza and fries were about it. Our waiter ignored us would refill and assist everyone else around us until we said something. Once we were ready to eat desert, their selection was next to none. Fruit, pudding or ice cream(which you had to scoop yourself and wait in a long line to do) we will not be returning after this experience.

Muy Ricas las Comida. Sólo que. Es bien sucio el Lugar. Y en la comida e encontrado pelos.ya son tres veces las que me pasa lo mismo. Una ves en los camarones y otra en los plátanos y otra en el pescado hervido! Es asqueroso. Eso!! Y si les Reclamas. No disen nada!! Son puy. Cochinos. Ahí...

Better than other Chinese Buffets in the valley but dont expect anything amazing. There is a large selection of food and it all seems pretty fresh, at least during lunch time. The Mongolian stir fry is okay. The meat sitting in the open kinda freaks me out but I didnt get sick and it tasted fine. Its a good place to come if you just want a large selection of okay Chinese food. I had decent service with the drinks and I never had to wait around for them to take away used plates. Ill probably be back if I cant decide where I want to eat.
