Well, I never got to experience their food and probably never will... This place is also a UPS delivery access point and when I wasnt home to receive my overnighted delivery, UPS decided to send it there for me to pick it up. I called in and the gentleman answering the phone told me he physically had the package. I came in the next day and he couldnt find it. Even though I was there before any other customers he wouldnt try to help me and find my package. To be honest he barely looked the first time. I asked him to please help me as I had to leave for work, tried to appeal to his sense of kindness (if he had one) and he said he had to take care of his customers, so Im not one? He told me I wasnt, that he didnt work for UPS and that UPS just decided to deliver their packages here and that Id have to wait... lol... like the restaurant doesnt get a cut or the foot traffic from this... He took care of 4 people coming in after me. Finally after 25 minutes of wait, I had to leave the restaurant without my package. As a former mystery shopper, I had plenty of time to observe a few things and here are the 3 things for you to remember: - the food looked good and fresh, but I will never get to enjoy it, as I am never coming back there, one bad experience is sometimes all you need, give it a shot, it was appetizing, I had a solid 25 minutes of watching him cook, and I was hungry. - they seem to be understaffed and disorganized, several people who were in the restaurant had placed orders over the phone, only to find out that he didnt actually cook them upon arriving to the restaurant - I understand the UPS concept of delivering packages to a local business, wether the compensation is monetary or direct foot traffic/advertising, and Im not against it either, as I mentioned previously, I was really thinking of coming back another day to try some of that delicious looking food, with also a relatively inexpensive menu, but the concept only works if you treat those people picking up their packages as customers. Now Im unhappy about 2 companies... lol... What that restaurant failed to realize is that UPS customers picking up their packages there could be potential customers. - Upon entering the restaurant, I wished I had ordered some food to go as well, upon leaving the restaurant I knew that it wouldnt have made a difference anyway, I would have had to walk out not only without my package but without my food either as he only knew how to take orders over the phone, not cook them, which is really the most important part, the cooking part of the order... As Jerry Seinfeld once said, "you know how to take a reservation but you dont know how to hold the reservation, and thats really the most important part of the reservation, the holding part" As Ive already said, try them out, I know I wont...

I had every intention of going to Thumbs Up however the line was also out the door. I wanted something good to eat and started walking down the street when my senses started to smell char grilled greatness. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. One thing East Point is lacking on menus is Burgers. As far as Im concerned problem solved with BGR Grille. The young man asked if he could explain the menu. Everything is fresh, cooked to order and not pre-made. Beef, chicken, turkey and even steak. All the fixings. This is a black owned family business. Very friendly people. I ordered the Blackened Bleu. Cajun seasoning, sautéed mushrooms and onions, provolone, Bleu cheese sauce, and BGR craft ale sauce. My fries were tossed with parm and garlic. One bite and I was in heaven. Definitely worth the trip and return visit.

Father/Son team. Dad works the grill and son taking orders. Very friendly and hospitable, my first time there so they explained the menu and gave me suggestions. I ended up getting the bourbon chicken stir-fry and it was delish but that is not why I am giving the review, it was the kindness of the son. I ordered a meal for a homeless man there but was unable to stay, I was concerned the gentleman would not get his meal. The son told me not to worry he would make sure he got his food. Something about the way he said it and the way he carried himself let me know he would make sure he ate! I will continue to support small businesses for this reason! Thank you

Great burgers! Wouldve given a 5-star, but we asked for both french fries and fried green tomatoes, and they were out of both. They only had sweet potato fries and onion rings, but both of those were very good so that isnt much of a complaint. So 4-star may be a lower score than I would like, but I cant score it with a 4.5 star. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Food was good, but I will not be going back due to the bad service. I went in with 4 other guys on our lunch break and it was only us and a lady with her 2 sons that came in right behind us. The lady and her kids got their food before he even started cooking our order, even though they ordered after us. It took 40 minutes to get my sandwich... I ordered the special.

I love, love, love BGR Grille!! For starters the food is fresh and very tasty, the staff is superb and always willing to go the extra mile. I am very critical of restaurants in general and am happy to have found BGR Grille to grab a quick meal during lunch when Im in Atlanta! Definitely a hidden gem in East Point!

I wont order from here again. We ordered two ribeye steaks to be cooked medium (pink), they were overcooked, poorly seasoned and almost room temperature. The salad had spinach over lettuce which appeared to be the shredded lettuce used for sandwiches. I do not recommend this restaurant!

Seriously Delicious!!! We found this place off Google, and it lived up to its 4star rating! I had a Southern burger, the kids had a classic and the Greek burger special... Everyone was thrilled! Thank you all so much! You make hungry travelers very happy!

The guy who I always see working is great at multi-tasking. Hes ringing up orders and cooking at the same time. The lamb burger I always get is DELICIOUS and so are their permission fries. Good customer service as well. Awesome place.

One of the best hamburgers Ive had so far this year, cooked to order with fresh ingredients. I just got a classic burger this time but for next time Ive got my eye on one of their specialty burgers. The tacos arent half bad either.

Really enjoyed my first but absolutely not my last visit at the BGR Grille. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and innovative choices made it a great Tuesday evening dinner. I am developing my preference list.
