Absolutely horrible service !!! Dont go , rude staff, old food, poor customer service !!! Walk in at 8:50pm. They suppose to close at 9pm! Door lock. Extra rude lady looks at me then point to her watch. Then young boy comes to the door and say we close . I asked if they started closing early . He says no , we only got a little bit of things left . I asked if I can look. Once I decided what I wanted from the extremely limited options , the women walked to the back and said Im not doing it . Then the young man reluctantly started to walk to the back. I told him never mind and have a good night. I will not beg anyone to take my order for old food. As a black business , my family patronize this business since they open. But after what I experience today we will never be back. Its very sad to see a business customer service so poor. I never encountered a business where the workers were so rude and nonchalant. I cant see them saying open after what I experience tonight.

Didnt get what we went for but the food was still good. Serving sizes are huge. Out of a lot of food by 8 pm and theyre quick to let you know they arent making anything else. Might as well close by 8. Waited in a long line about 20min for them to run out of what we wanted while we were in line. Then dude who made the plates didnt ring us up and our togo plates sat there open, at the end of the line, food getting cold for about 5 minutes. Just for a different server to take a customer who was obviously a regular from the back of the line and ring them up ahead of us. We understand the kitchen is hot, but having employees lamp around the serving area bc theyre done cooking while customers are waiting to be served and having only 2 servers busting tail while everyone sits and watches them doesnt seem fair to the food runners. Hopefully it was just because it was a friday night

Where is the justification in running a business this way? I can go up the road and get comparable flavor and respectable portions at a better price without the bad attitude (felt like a race thing). We are all ultimately all from the African continent, play-yar. Respect truth. Also, how does a venue calling itself a solution for soul food run out of collard-greens?... and from what Ive heard that happens virtually every day -- if you know its a problem fix it. Portions here *are* quite generous, so thats part of the two stars. The clerk on the cash register kept the experience otherwise professional (even pleasant), but she shouldnt have felt like she had to. She was the other good part of that two stars. Outside of the positive bits its sadly a 0 star situation.

Went to the older one they didnt have what i wanted.Another customer told me about the new location. The portions are excellent, the chitterlings were nasty and the attitude of the server was worst. I live in Va. and visit that area often. If I wanted bad attitudes and bad food I can get that anywhere!

Food is to die for BUT they are not as fast and efficient with service as they should. Always a long line which is a testament of the great taste of the food but please consider hiring staff that can fill orders a tad bit faster
