Stopped in for the first time for dinner recently. There isnt a huge seating area, but it seemed like most people were picking up carry-out orders. The prices were really reasonable and we happened to be there on the special night for a full rack of ribs for $16! Great value! We ordered four racks for six people, plus a couple sides of coleslaw and cornbread. Everything was delicious. The rib meat fell off the bone and the selection of sauces was great, there was something for all tastes. The meat by itself was good too, no need for sauce. The coleslaw was pretty good. The cornbread was something special, with cheddar and jalapenos cooked in. It gave the bread a unique taste that wasnt too hot for our kids. We had plenty leftovers for lunch the next day. Bullies will definitely be on my "must have" list for future vacations here.

Omg! So glad we stopped here. The bbq ribs, chicken, and brisket are delicious. You can taste the smoke in the meat and know its prepared with love. My family and I were on vacation in hilton head and I was craving bbq, glad we decided to eat here. I had greens and Mac & cheese for my side. They werent my favorite. The Mac and cheese was bland, even though the out bacon in it (no no no). The collard greens are prepared with pepper , onions, and just a tad bit too much vinegar. Besides that the meat is yummy. Oh yeah, the corn bread is goid also. Make sure to try the original sauce in the brown bottle. It a perfect balance with the meat.

Took our family of five here. The ribs, are, amazing!!!! Usually I have a ton of sauce on them. But these were so freakin good that I didnt sauce any of them. The dry rub they use is phenomenal!!! We had a full rack of ribs dinner, a pulled pork dinner plate, two mac & cheese kids meals and a rib kids meal. The kids meals where only $3.99 with a drink. All together we spent just over $50. Fantastic deal for a family. Honesty these ribs are so amazing!! Best Ive ever had!!! Atmosphere felt like a hole in the wall place, some flies flying around but if that bothers you just get it to go. It was a genuine BBQ joint atmosphere.

Bullies BBQ is a smallish southern BBQ joint located next to a gas station, but that shouldnt detract from the quality of the restaurant and its food. Bullies offers pulled chicken and pork, ribs, and several classic BBQ sides, like collard greens and mac and cheese. Bullies gives customers numerous sauces to choose from to slather on their meats, from spicy BBQ to mustard-based and vinegar-based sauces. Although the pulled pork was quite good, it was nothing too exceptional. The macaroni and cheese, however, was very creamy and delicious! I would recommend this little establishment to anyone traveling to the island.

Dont be scared by the outward appearance of Bullies BBQ. While it may be located next to a gas station, the BBQ dinners theyre cranking out are out-of-this-world delicious! We tried their "sampler" dinner which included chicken, brisket, pork, and ribs - perfect size for sharing. They have a number of sauces, each with a slightly different mix of sweet or savory. Im definitely a fan of their sweet BBQ sauce with the noticeable inclusion of rosemary! Jalapeno cornbread and redskin potato salad were also delicious. This is definitely on my list of "must eats" for HHI.

The best bbq restaurant in the area! We loved it so much we ate there twice on vacation. The ribs melt in your mouth and is making my mouth water just thinking about them! My husband loves north carolina style pulled pork and he said this was just as good. They have a nice array of sauces to please everyone. While we were there people came in to just purchase sides to take home and have with their family dinners! Loved reading all the names written on the walls. Wished they still let customers do that cuz we would be proud to say we were there!

We found this place on tripadvisor, and, even though it was a little difficult to find, we were glad we did. We ordered the full slab of ribs and shared the plate worth food left over. The ribs were meaty and juicy with a flavorful spice rub. The sauces were amazing, and we especially liked the sweet heat and the Texas sauces. The fries were hot and crispy, and the cole slaw was also good. We would definitely eat here again!

If I could have rated this place -10 , I would have. This place is distinguishing and very unprofessional. I normally dont make a big deal or ask for money back, but I did here. The only thing good was the chicken. When I went to the register to talk with the cashier , I was talked to like dirt under my feet. Then when we left they were gossiping about us like little children. Thanks for ruining my apetite.

The online reviews were on the $. I had a full rack of ribs and they were perfect. Great rub and didnt need any sauce, though I tried each one just to see how they tasted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Took about 10 minutes or less to get my rib slab dinner and pulled chicken dinner for my wife. If I go back to HHI, I will make sure to include Bullies BBQ as part of my trip.

So glad I read these reviews as we might not have ventured to try by its outward appearance - but WOW, it was so yummy! We liked it so much we did take out from here TWICE during our week on HHI. We did the family pack both times which gave us a nice sampling of ribs, shredded pork, chicken, brisket, mac n cheese, cole slaw, and corn bread. Wonderful selection selections of sauces too.

The ribs were great with out any sauce but I did have to try all five sauces and they all were terrific. The rub used is delicious and the staff all very nice and friendly. If you are looking for BBQ on Hilton Head Island, be sure to check this place out. And if you get take out, there is a condiments bar by the door that has all the sauces, ketchup, and utensils for your order.

Staff wasnt very welcoming. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes and no one said anything to us. On the flip side, once we found the correct place to order, the food was fast and good. They also had a unique herb bbq sauce that was very good. The parking lot is tiny, crammed next to a gas station. All in all, I would go back for a Bandanas-esk bite of smoked meats.

Ive had BBQ all over the country and this so called brisket sandwich was definetly not BBQ. Brisket should be smoked, thin sliced, have a nice crust and pink smoke ring This was more like over cooked, chopped up pot roast, seriously it looks like they took prepacked deli roast beef and chopped it up Maybe their other items are BBQ but the brisket does not qualify

Sides were awesome, service was quick and friendly. The ribs looked good, but Im a fan of brisket so I went with that. I was disappointed when I found that it was an Arbys style cut as opposed to a traditional southern - style thick cut or shred. The sides and service saved it though. Definitely need to get the greens...they are some of the best Ive ever had!
