We were on a Chinese food kick and decided to try Prime based on a few friends recommendations. We were excited because the reviews and photos on Yelp looked pretty good and we were trying to make up for an unpleasant experience at a Chinese restaurant the night before at Liyuen. Prime was ever-so-slightly better, but not worth a star more. We ordered a small takeout meal so we wouldnt make the same mistake of dropping $50 on a bad meal. It was orange peel chicken, lomein noodles and the vegetable egg rolls. The sauce on the orange peel chicken was very different than what Ive had before. Not bad, not great; just okay. The batter on the chicken was super soggy and disintegrated into the sauce, so that made the dish pretty bad all together. The lomein was not very flavorful, so although it was edible, it just wasnt pleasurable. Lastly was our poor excuses for egg rolls. I am not too fond of standard egg rolls and prefer the really crispy "spring roll" things. The person taking the order said that they actually made the wrappers there, so I was tempted to get an order of a few hundred, but in the end we stuck with the order of 6 for $5.95 (great price of less than a buck per egg roll). I am sooooo glad that we didnt order extra because these were flat out bad. I cannot even think of enough negative adjectives to describe the despicable little turds, but the only price point that these should go for is FREE. They were tiny (smaller than half my thumb), wrapper undercooked in some areas, burnt in other areas, exploded open with half the filling missing and very greasy. How all this is possible in something so small, I have no clue, but I can say without a doubt that these are not good. If I can say something nice about Prime it would be that they put a lot of thought into bagging the food for takeout and that their sticky rice is indeed sticky. Factor in that they charge more than most other Chinese places and this is a place to avoid.

What the hell happened?! This place was okay a few years ago but this food is a hot mess. We got the lunch special, I got Kung Pao and he got the House Chicken. The Kung Pao had the most unrecognizable flavor ever! It wasnt saucy at all and had a burnt flavor. The House Chicken was a soggy mess. The fried rice was just rice and soy sauce and the egg roll had nothing in it! Just dough

My family and I have been going here for years, its our go-to place for Chinese food. The cooks, wait staff, and servers are incredibly cordial. Above all else, the Chinese dishes they offer are incredible. The Mongolian beef is a great choice, but I have to recommend the fish and black-bean sauce for a truly savory experience.

I went here for lunch and had the bowl of wonton soup ($5), garlic shrimp combo with vegetable egg roll and fried rice($10.50), and a large iced tea in a big carry out cup ($3). It was a regular lunch portion. While the whole meal was very good; $20 plus tip was a little pricey for the portion size.

I have been to so many Chinese restaurants around the valley. Because i am a mailman and I am sent around the city, if there is a Chinese restaurant near me I am trying it. This by far had some of the best tasting items. I have never been so satisfied from such amazing tasting food.

Absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in the valley. Be mindful that usually there is only one server, an older female, and that service is slow, but it is definitely worth the patience. The portions are moderately-sized, but its difficult to have leftovers due to its deliciousness.

Awesome mom and pop shop. The most authentic Chinese food that Ive found outside of China. I highly recommend Kung pow chicken and steamed dumplings.

Service was great! Very nice and clean place to eat...but the Sweet and Sour chicken was not the best. The lunch hour was pretty dead.
