Ever since this place opened I have wanted to give it a try. As the reviews came in they were all over the board so I hesitated until today. The first thing I noticed was the place was empty. I ate alone. This is surprising because almost any other restaurant on a Monday for lunch in Draper would be busy. When I walk up the counter there were no employees to be seen, but some quickly emerged from the back. The restaurant is fairly small and casual. You place your order at a desk and they bring your food to you. They have a six head soda fountain with Coke, diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, Lemonade, and Dr. Pepper. They also have some drinks in a cooler. I order the Waffle Monster and a medium frites. They came fairly quick. The Waffle Monster (which actually looks like a monster) was great. I would put it on par with a Waffle Love waffle The fries or "frites" were good. They have tons of dipping sauces. I tried quite a few of them. My favorites were the frites sauce and the fry sauce. The andelouse was also pretty good. I have two complaints. #1 The food was too expensive. Between the fries and Waffle I ended up with a $15 bill. It would be nice if they had some Waffle and frites combo meals. #2 My fries were all shorts. Most if them were 1.5"-2"

Ill start off by saying the service was great. The manager/owner lady (not sure which) was very attentive to our group and made sure we had a good experience. Now for the food. I ordered the stew, and was a bit disappointed that, unlike the pictures on the menu and online, instead of the stew being to the side of the fries, the stew was placed on top of the fries, meaning most of the fries were soggy. I wasnt a huge fan of the stew in general, although my wife liked it. It had a very unique flavor, so just be warned it could be a hit or a miss. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food just fine. My personal opinion is that its a bit pricey, but its a fun and unique experience, well worth a visit.

Ive always been a big fan of Bruges, as Ive frequented the sugar house location (and the old Pioneer Park before then) and now that they have a location out by my office I intend to frequent it. I was surprised to see new changes this time. The fries here are twice-fried and crispy (like Europe) and I highly recommend the Flemmish Stew. Its sweet and pairs perfectly poured over crispy fries. The sandwiches are tasty too, but I recommend the brioche over the waffle because I feel like the waffles on the sandwiches get soggy. And of course, get the Bruges Favorite dessert waffle. Crunchy Belgian waffle with crème fraiche and strawberries is perfection!

My wife and I each got the Italian, and shared a medium fry. We got a free fry from a Facebook coupon. The fries were great, as was the dipping sauce. The only complaint there, is that most were quite small, 1-2 inches. The sandwiches had high quality ingredients, and were tasty. Despite all the great ingredients, for whatever reason, I was not blown away by it. It was just good, not great. My biggest gripe is the price. Surely the quality is good, and likely justifies the price, but its beyond what I would casually spend on a lunch.

Super gross. I want my money and time back. The waffle was doughey and the owner/manager? Explained to me that this is how its supposed to be. They did make me a new one that was more cooked so that was nice of them but I still thought it tasted gross and am disappointed in my overall experience. It was quite pricey for a waffle a gross egg and bacon and a small cup of coffee with no refills, I paid $10. Would have been happy to pay that if it actually tasted good. Wont be going there again

The food wasnt horrible, it was average. The value you get for what you pay isnt worth the money. You get what would be equivalent to 1/4 of a full waffle anywhere else. Refills on $2.00 coffee arent free. Two of us spent $20 for two very small waffles and 1 drink. I wouldnt mind paying more for a premium product or service, but this wasnt premium in any way. You cant take an ordinary waffle and name it something French and its automatically good. It was worth a try, but we wont be back.

Having spent a lot of time in Belgium eating this type of food, Im rather disappointed. The food was decent, but far overpriced and slow (despite the place being nearly empty). The machine gun sandwich was less than half the size of one youd find at any friterie in Belgium. Either bring the prices down to match the quantity given, or fix the portions. The fries were pretty good, and the andalouse sauce was very well made. The Samurai sauce was a bit weak. Service was friendly but slow.

Try the Smores waffle - its not officially on the menu, I think theyve just added it. But its delicious and just $5! The person who said $1 per bite must take huge bites. The waffles are priced higher than a waffle at iHop, but they are 100 times better and more filling! So so good! The waffle sandwiches are good too. My favorites are the Veggie and the Turkey Bacon Avocado. Yum! and the fries! I cant stop saying enough good things about this place. You just have to try it.

Probably the best french fries in town. The Liege waffles and waffle sandwiches are addicting as heck, and the Flemish stew is one of the most satisfying meals Ive had in years. Would have been a 5/5 if they hadnt completely lost my order last time I was there; after twenty minutes I had to remind them I was waiting, with no one else in the store. The manager did offer me a free waffle as an apology, which was very much appreciated.

This little theme cafe is cute in contemporary way. They are a small local chain. The stsff are friendly and willing to answer questions. I ordered the Spec and egg with bacon. This was my first experience of lege waffles. I was not expecting the cheese in my waffle. Not a big fan of cheese on or in random food dishes. But this is my own food issue. I dont want to hold that against this place.

An employee recommended I get a torpedo waffle with crème fraîche for my first experience here, and it did not disappoint. Also tried an order of frites with a few different sauces and was pleasantly surprised as to the quality and taste. The location is clean and modern, and is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ill definitely be back!

We tried two different Waffles here and they were both excellent. We also had a medium order of Frites (pronounced Freets), which is just a European term for fries. These were fantastic as well. They also have a varieyy of dipping sauces, including fry sauce. The medium order was plenty for the two of us. A large could feed several people.

Service was good (only 3 other people were there). I got the machine gun for $10 that was a small baguette, 3 little lamb sausage links, a heap of overcooked fries, with a big dollop of spicy mayonnaise. The Gyro combo at Crown Burger had 5x the meat, tastes better, has more fries, and is $2 cheaper. I wont be back.
