Not very impressed by this Village Inn. Have been here a few times and the other times also has been so-so but this time on the other hand was not a very impressive display of service nor management. I usually wont say anything because I usually wont care to. BUT this time my husband and I didnt care too much for the level of service we recieved (we had to reask for what we ordered because the waitress kept forgetting our order, that happened 2 or 3 times. On top I never got my extra side I ordered) and the manager was NOT friendly to really somewhat on the unpleasant side(smuggish) to talk to when we brought up a false advertisement. Our question was... Simply, why advertise something on your menu if it does not come with it and you have to end up charging your customers extra for what is advertised on your menu?? Overall, I would say their food was good but compared to Dennys they have a long way. Dennys has ALWAYS been a good choice for food and overall friendly service. So next time I would say, "To Dennys we go instead of Village Inn."

My wife and I went to this location on Sunday the food was quick to our table which we would soon find out why half the food was cold and it was gross on top of it I didnt feel well after eating it and my wife refused to eat hers. We let the Gal up front know and we payed our bill in full so that they didnt think we just wanted a free meal. The credit they offered I told them to give it to the waiter who treated us well but was unfortunately working with the crap food he was given. We will not return and I hope people will stop going until they start making breakfast that is worth the 22 dollars. I have been to Village in before and it was ok now its worse hopefully they get there act together because I would be sad to see another restaurant go out of business due to poor management and poor food. I do want to say the waiter and the gal up front were nice but the food was gross.

I love this restaurant! The waitstaff is an absolute joy! Every time my boyfriend and I come in, they are always so happy and eager to serve us. Im a picky vegetarian, but luckily they have some really tasty meat-free entrees. Im a huge fan of the Farmers market benedict and their Veggie crepes. The omelettes are all good too! Whenever I get hash browns they are always crisp, and the food is prepared to a high standard! Sometimes it even comes out looking BETTER than the picture!! And dont even get me started on the pies! I am in love with their Lemon Supreme! My boyfriend usually gets the Strawberry rhubarb, which I also enjoy. All in all, there is a reason we go back every single week. The service is fantastic, and the food is OMG level of delicious!!

Ive been to many restaurants in the valley and none other cleans and wraps the high chairs which was rather impressive as I have a toddler. The table was not as clean as I would have liked. The service was good but for the price per plate youd expect the portions to be bigger than they are. The food is good and the strawberry cheesecake is good too. As good as the food is $10 a plate is a little too much for the small portions and Im not a big guy that eats a ton.

Service was ok,not greeted at the right away, person who seated us was on her phone,looked at us then finished her call then seated us. She was very nice though.my son tried there new tenders and they were burnt,they apologized and brought new was so we could take them home.they even gave us a discount and the Gmail came over and apologized she was also nice,will come back.because of the service after we were seated,

Customer service is terrible, the server was extremely slow and rude. I waited 45 minutes to recieve my pancakes, never received them. Out of frustration and the rest of the party having finished eating their pancakes, we left. The cashier still made me pay for them, but gave me a dollar off becuase "thats all she could discount". Will never return to this village inn again.

Waitress was rude to our party. Especially my 16 yr. old daughter then came and tried to apologize and blamed a busy day instead of owning her attitude. Didnt want justificstions or excuses. Still gave her a $10.00 tip on a $50.00 ticket. Just because she was rude doesnt make me a bad tipper. Would have and do pride myself on tipping at least 30% for good service.

Waiting most of my life here just to get a table to eat a simple snack. i have a friend in a kool mini van that needs to go to church tomorrow and this other dude who needs to take a leak. Should of went to dennys!!! But they only have 6 dennys here in slc utah. What is the world coming too!!! Not having a fun experience in utah, dont live here!!!

I have been in to this location a few times and twice Makaylee has been my outstanding server, beyond satisfied to come eat here because of her great attitude. Fast, friendly and great at her job! I have friends go in and ask to be seated in her section. Always hot fresh food! Very pleased with this location and makaylee.

Its like the fancy version of Dennys or IHOP. The prices are about the same, and the food is amazing and they also have fresh pies up front, if you go on Wednesday its pie day and you get a free pice of pie with your meal. Good place to relax and have a cup of coffee, or enjoy a friends company.

These guys are one of the better village inns around. They have a great staff, and the restaurant is always clean. I will choose to go here instead of many others, even if its a further drive. I havent had any issues with the food yet, so they seem to have a pretty reliable cooking staff.

I am fairly new to Utah and had never been to a Village Inn before. I tried several restaurants for breakfast and was very glad to discover Village Inn. They have wonderful breakfasts at a good price. This place is a good value for your money. They also have delicious pies!

Dave Snodgress is the cook at Village Inn and he masterbates in the mens bathroom and then returns to cook the customers food. The company knows about this, but they chose to deny everything. There are pictures of Dave in the bathroom doing this.

Service was very good. Southwest salad was really bitter. In the past it has been very good. The crust of the bread used for my sandwich was stale and hard. Pie had plenty of filling, but very little crust, which is always soo good.

When I lived in Sandy this was my go-to breakfast place. Their food is good, and we used to go there late at night too for midnight breakfast when we were out late. They have great pie and good food.
