First, I would recommend this place to all the taco-lovers out there that care about what they eat. You can tell that the food is prepared carefully, with quality ingredients. Breakfast tacos- awesome. Torta- huge. Came w just plain chips, so I ordered a side of queso (few ounces in a salsa cup for $2.50). Beer battered fish taco was great. Veggie dillas were very tasty. And the fried cheesecake chimi- will satisfy if you have the craving. I would throw caution to the beer tho- I didnt try any other beverages, but I finished a draft glass in 4 drinks. No exaggeration. Theres more glass than there is beer. Try it and see. (Or just save your $$ ;) ) Such a bummer there was no avocado cream sauce. And they wanted to charge an extra $2 for a steak/carnitas substitution on a taco. So theres clearly no menu flexibility there. Overall, it was very delicious. Decent portions. Although pricey, you certainly get what you pay for in quality and selection. I spent about $35 before tip on the stuff you see in the pic.

Their most popular items here are the cabo beer-battered fish, jalapeno pork and smoked chicken elote tacos; I tried all 3 and loved the fish and the jalapeno pork but the smoked chicken elote tastes like chicken in spaghetti-os sauce (just leave it unless you dig spaghetti-os). I went back the next day to pick up another 2 cabo fish tacos and another jalapeno pork. The heat in the pork seems to vary widely between tacos, so plan on hot but it may be quite tame. Its rare that a place can convince me to come back the next day but it was definitely worth it (again).

Been meaning to go here for some time and finally did. Nice customer service, there werent many people at all surprisingly since we went around dinner time. They did take a while to get our food out and wasnt busy at all, but I guess they were understaffed. I got the Cusco Torta and was average. Did feel like it could of had alot more flavor. Tried the food of other family members and had better taste so I guess next time Ill just get something else. Guess my expectations were a little high since I eat homemade mexican food regularly. Chips and salsa were good...

Very good fish taco! Jicama slaw is different and tasty. Next time Ill only get fish tacos. Chicken elote taco is good but not great. It is shredded chicken but somehow ended up a bit dry. So it becomes tough to chew a big bite. Stubborn brand sodas are a nice change from the standard coca cola and Pepsi alternatives. Will be coming back soon!

first time. 2 picadillo flour tacos (missing sour cream as indicated per menu) and americana tostado. meat had good taste and flavor. only 3 stars because for the cost didnt come with chips/salsa/or queso (but can be purchased in addition to) and missing sour cream from the order (it comes on per menu)

Original location in richardson is(was? Havent been in several months) better. At the frisco location they used steak cut (frozen) French fries on my torta... Pretty disgusting. The corn tortillas on my friends taco isnt cooked. Only good thing? Good chips and salsa, mostly the salsa.

Outstanding food and large portions. Start small!! Cocktails were a bit watery, and the manager had a very dry and approachable attitude. Very clean facility. Would have been 5 stars if not for the managers lack of conversation. Best guacamole around.

I came from out of town and wanted some good tacos, well this place did not disappoint. I had the 2 taco plate with grilled fish tacos. And they were really good. Everything is freshly cooked. Thanks for the great food

Very friendly staff. Quick service, as youd expect from a taco shop. Ingredient quality comes through in the taste. Fish taco had a nice, large pieces of fish. Same quality found in beef and pork taco.

Excellent. Tostados and tacos are fresh made to order. Taste great. 8 Carribean Islands thus the name Taco Ocho. Also 6 beers on tap and $5.00. frozen margarita in class with Glorias and Cantina Loredo.

Love this place! We have been going every 7-10 days! Fast service. Love the chicken con elote tacos and shredded beef nachos. My husband loves the fried fish tacos and shrimp tacos.

Great quality. However the prices for the portions are quite high. $5 for a shot glass of cheese??? Very expensive soda fountain drinks. But good food and nice staff. Always clean.

Its ok. All tacos are flour tortillas, and the selection of salsas is pretty weak. Not the authentic Mexican Tacos you might be expecting. They need to travel to Mexico
