Great stop after a dinner in town. Walking distance from a number of hotels. I typically do not like waffle cone - this place I enjoyed it. Nice large two scoop cone. I enjoyed the Snappin Turtle and Coconut Caramel flavors. The fudge was delicious (in the Snappin Turtle flavor?). My daughter ordered a Malt drink which turned out to be more than she planned on. I did not pay attention to the candy side of the store. Looked full of variety. Line was out the door on a warm evening in March. Will certainly visit again if I"m in town.

It is always a treat when we come to the Pearl in Summer! I always usually get the Mississippi Mudd Flavor in a bowl so chocolatey and delicious. The prices are great too they have a $10 minimum so I usually buy someone elses with mine because its such a fantastic price compared to other Ice Cream shops. In Winter time I also like to get their Hot Cocoa with Whipped Cream or one of their warm Coffees.

I have been to the Pearl several times and have always found it to be an excellent experience. Once side is the candy counter. It has national branded products as well as chocolate candies made on-site. The other side is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. They have a rotating selection of flavors and cone options. The cost is very reasonable for the value.

Good ice cream..they shuffle a lot of people through on busy days. worth stopping if your downtown. it is old-style and pretty cool. lots of flavors of ice cream. never had candy...it looks great though. it is like the candy man from willy wanka movie..the photo does not do justice...the feeling you get when you walk in is much better

I used to love getting ice cream here when I went to college in La Crosse. The ambience is unparalleled and the ice cream was amazing. I was always able to resist the sweet candies though at times they were tempting. I truly wish I could still visit here, alas, I am now too far away to partake in the sweet treats of The Pearl.

Very cool old fashioned ice cream parlor! Wide variety of flavors and tastes great. Awesome customer service. This place was busy as ever but they had enough employees to make it go rather quickly. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area. The chocolate milk shake was awesome!

This is a cute Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor and candy shop in downtown La Crosse. There are lots of flavors and you can get a cone and walk down to the Mississippi and just watch the river go by. However my favorite ice cream and Candy Shop is on the North side its called The Sweet Shop.

Waffle cones are great, ice cream flavors were lame. Salted caramel, coconut caramel, snapping turtle and cookie dough were all pretty basic. Super long line, probably 15 minute wait to put in an order and stressed out employees. Went on a sunday evening. Every table was filthy and sticky.

This is the best place in La Crosse to get freshly made ice cream! Put it in one of their homemade waffle cones, and you have an awesome day in downtown La Crosse. The ambiance is that of an old soda fountain, which really makes the experience a special one.

The Cappuccino Oreo was my favorite flavor. Low prices paired with a wide variety of cones sums up to a perfectly sweet selection. Saw some girls biking to this spot while I was enjoying my last bite and thought it would definitely be worth their trip.

Best ice cream Ive ever had and at great prices. They have a ton of flavors and their in house fresh baked waffle cones are to die for. If youre in the downtown area of La Crosse and you love ice cream, then you cant afford to miss out on The Pearl.

This is a fantastic ice cream shop. They make their ice cream and waffle cones in house. In my mind this is one of the best shops in La Crosse. The only reason it got 4 out of 5 is because we had to wait in line for 45min on our last visit.

Hands down, best ice cream in La Crosse. Its fun to experience the old-timey feel and see what new flavors they have cooked up. Its the only place Ive ever seen Oktoberfest flavor ice cream made with real Oktoberfest Beer.

Definitely a local favorite. Be prepared for a line on a sunny summer day, but it is worth the wait. Great location you can take your ice cream to go or hide inside in the air conditioning in one of the cool wooden booths.

An excellent, old-fashioned ice cream parlor. I love their waffle cones which they make right there on sight. My only recommendation is they can be fairly busy on weekends and evenings, but the wait is honestly worth it!

Great atmosphere and superior product. Waffle cones are made in store and they have a broad selection of candies, both classic and modern. It is a jog to get to downtown from the interstate, but it was worth the trip.
