Back in June my whole family, 12 people went for my birthday. The service was TERRIBLE! They charged EACH ticket a gratuity of well over 20%. In total the waitress received a tip of over 100.00. I had to get everyones drinks because after being seated, the waitress NEVER returned. Our food also was all wrong. We were there for over 2 hours! ! We complained to who we thought was a "manager" and he asked us who our waitress was. We explained to him what she looked like and his response was... "the girl who walks like a duck with a big ass". No doubt, we were in shock. He assured us that if we came back our meal would be taken care of. So some of us did. 4 of us. When we told the "manager" that our meal was taken care of and it was under our last name, he called someone on the phone and handed me his cell phone. The guy on the phone never told me who he was he just kept saying, I never told you that. I was so embarrassed in front of all the customers no doubt. I walked up front to pay and the guy who claimed to be the owner, kept laughing at me and I told him we would never be back. We always come there and spend a lot of money and he shrugged his shoulders and laughed and told me he did not care. He over charged me 25.00 and when I pointed it out, he did not want to correct it. I told him that is manager was a liar aND he laughed and one of the employees told me to "SHUT UP"! °HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. They are super rude and crude and I will never be back to that terrible place! I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE!! 2 THUMBS DOWN

Took my daughter there for her 15th birthday.the food was decent tasting but the show was horrible.the cook never once made eye contact wiith anyone in the group he did not do any tricks, not even the easiest one the onion volcano on fire, or flip the egg into his hat and then to the spatula, or even try launch a shirmp into the birthday girls mouth. So my daughter was extremely disappointed. Cause she was able to choose any restaurant she wanted. And then the waitress kept pushing you want fried cheese cake for birthday girl so we said yes and they charged us for it can you believe that the had a recording of happy birthday, the so called manager could not make a decision on how to handle the matter so she gives me the owners phone number and says to call him. Been here before for my Bro in laws bithday and it was good show but that was a year ago when they first opened but now its all about the dollar $80.00 for three people which would not have been bad if we had got the show we said paid for and yes we did do the hibachi grill but was very disappointed so if your looking for a traditional hibachi style grill to celebrate and have nice evening with friends or family and a good show. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO YOU WILL SORRY

Was horriably disappointed with the service we received tonight!!!!!! Ive been a couple times for lunch in the past month and have had fair service, but tonight was awful and we will not be back! We got there and expected a wait so theu said it would be about 30 minutes, ok no big deal. So we waited and 30 minutes pass to over an hour and bigger parties that walked in after us were being seated. We asked why our group of FOUR was not called over these groups of 10+ people. The host told us it was because they had called about TEN minutes BEFORE they WALKED IN!!! Keep in mind by this point we yave been waiting over an hour. So abput 10 minutes after this we finally got our seat. Everyone in our party ordered sushie. Our waiter put it down and left didnt ask if everone had theres, and mine was left out. I waited 10 minutes for my sushie and it never showed even after being asked. We had to get a busser to take it off our bill. Also our glasses were filled once and thats when they brought them to us. We wont be back and I hate it because the food is great but not worth the service.

I had a very unpleasant experience there yesterday. I ordered the japanese shrimp curry. It was not as the waitress described at all. I asked about the sauce before I ordered-is it green, red, or yellow curry? What is in it, etc? I was told it was a creamy orange colored curry sauce, but it came out looking like chunky slop. Come to find out it was made from a box you would buy in the asian store and the first ingredient was wheat flour. If I wasnt gluten intolerant I still would not have eaten it because it was not prepared properly-it had globs of dough like sauce mixed with chopped shrimp. The waitress was very rude when I told her I would have to order something else because the dish was not as she had told me. After paying, I respectfully told the manager how displeased I was and he was disrespectfully rude and tried to argue with me about the curry. I eat at a lot of different asian restaurants and know they all make their curry sauces in house not from a box, but the manager told me I was wrong. I will not go back to this restaurant!

I love Japanese Steakhouses and I was quite excited to try this one. When my friend and I arrived the place was pretty empty. We were seated quickly and before we could take our next breathe the waitresses was asking what we wanted to drink. Hahah, I definitely understand fast service but at least give us a minute to peruse the menu! Sheesh. This kept happening however, as soon as she brought the water glasses over she was asking what we wanted as our main entrées. Although the meal was brought out quickly we didnt have time to actually enjoy the ambience....the experience. I definitely felt rushed. We both ordered the steak and scallop hibachi. It was really good, although the waitress failed to ask me how I wanted my steak cooked. I try not to eat pork or beef too often, maybe once or twice a year, so it wasnt a big deal that I ate only a few pieces of the steak. All in all, a nice establishment. Id probably skip the next go round, unless I want my food extra, extra fast!!!

My family & I went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We were five of us. We were seated at a grill where there were already people seating. They had already finished their soup and salad. We were still eating our soup and salad when the chef started up the grill. When serving the rice he gave everyone their portion and had some left over on the grill, so the chef started putting more on everyones plate. When he got around to our family he didnt have much left to give them and didnt have any left for me. He served the shrimp, steak, and chicken to those who ordered it. He served chicken to a guy who only ordered shrimp and therefore didnt give me much because he gave mine away. The chef told the server to have the kitchen cook more chicken for me and it never came. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back. My daughter always asks to go to Toyko for her birthday, because she born in Japan. Thanks Tokyo for spoiling my daughters birthday.
