Overall: For people who are new to Piada, think "Chipotle" or "Freebirds", but for Italian food. Piada has the option of a "Piada" (Italian wrap), or Pasta (Angel Hair pasta). You can then customize what ingredients and sauces you would like in it. If you are unsure of what to go with, they usually have seasonal recipes that you can request. Atmosphere: Piada has a very contemporary atmosphere. Almost all of the seating has charging ports available for if you need a quick phone charge on your lunch break. Staff: For the most part, your interaction with the staff is minimal besides when ordering your food. But what conversation I did have with them, they were very friendly and quick to answer all of my questions on my first visit. They do well at keeping the tables clear the lunch rush. Food: I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Since I went during the lunch rush, I anticipated everything to be rushed and lacking any quality or effort put into the food. But they put just enough time in to ensure that you end up with a quality meal while still keeping the line moving. The "regular" portion of pasta is likely large enough for the average person to make two meals out of it. Especially if you pair it with their optional sides of bread, soup, or seasonal salads.

I met some business partners at this location for a quick lunch. At first I was skeptical but was pleasantly surprised by the portion size, speed of service, taste and ambience of Piada! I ordered the chef specialty Piada and added calamari. Can you say heaven in every bite! From the meaty chunks of calamari to the wonderful meld of flavors, it was absolutely divine. Too boot they ordered me a meatball on the side to "try", that thing was the size of my fist and again very flavorful. It did have a lot of breadcrumb in it though which made it more bready (not a word, I know) than meaty but it wasnt bad at all. To was it all down, get 1/2 sweet tea mixed with 1/2 peach tea, perfect blend and not to sweet. I will definitely visit again as the prices are great.

Its nice to have good Italian food served quickly and very fresh. You order exactly how you would at Chipotle, pick your item and load it with your meat and toppings. They also have Italian sodas which are refreshing with high carbonation. My wife really loves the garlic dough add-on with her pasta and a coworker said he will definitely order the lobster bisque again. I like to mix their Alfredo sauce with either of their red sauces. Give Piada a shot!

Great atmosphere...Piada in Richardson on Renner Rd is awesome!! My friends and I go often for the Calamari. Oh My... The Calamari is offered as a side dish, however, the portion superceded my expectations and the price was so affordable that I didnt think that it would be enough to fill me. Seriously, the portion of Calamri for $5...has me coming back 4 more. Great job! Go Piada!!!

Love the food here, good quality ingredients for about the same price as Chipotle. I hate chipotles food because it taste like they use cheap ingredients. Love the bright, modern, cheerful atmosphere at this place. They also have great outside seating on their patio. It seems really popular & busy at this location. The food is great & the Italian sodas are really good too!

I came shortly after the store opened and the place was packed. That being said the employees did there best to make it better for everyone and answer any questions about the food. I ended up having a farm club tasca and was really impressed with the quality and freshness of it. I would however skip the side corn salad and go for one of their soups next time.

Do yourself a favor, get the calamari. Not a fan of the "piada", it reminds me too much of a failed attempt at an Itilaian burrito. However, pretty much everything else is great. And although their namesake would deem them to make a proper piada, they make up for it by having the best pasta in miles, and the best calamari in all N TX, easily.

This was my first time going to this place and it was well worth it. They skimped on the avocado, but Im sure theyre not buying them at 3 for a dollar. The cannoli dessert items were tasteful but very messy. The powdered sugar isnt the way to go if your eating with clients or going back to work. The atmosphere, however, was perfect!

First time here. The food was delectable, I was pleasantly surprised that it reminded me of the old country. They had a bit of a dinner rush and the manager came over and comped our meal due to the wait and confusion. It was not necessary, but shows a really high level of service. Ill definitely return to support them!

Pepperoni sticks and the piadas are outstanding! Everything I have tried here has been outstanding! The menus is not very big but what they do have they do very well. I really like how they change up the menu seasonally also. I would highly recommend this place as it is definitely a different take on Italian.

Love the concept of fast Italian food. Gotten piadas each time Ive come. Like an Italian burrito. Crispy chicken one time. Steak the other time. Wonderful assortment of toppings to add on too. They sell beer and wine and Italian sodas. Wonderful staff and super tasty food. On the pricier side but worth it

I had the pasta here. I wanted to try new things, so as I went down the line, I asked the employees to pick what theyd put into their own plate. Why was this so delicious? I do not know. My friend had a piada, and she loved that also! We couldnt get over the amazing taste. Will be coming back again.

Its been said over and over, but it truly is the Italian Chipotle. And its a lot cleaner! Ive been a few times and tried out a good bulk of the menu. The wraps are tasty and filling for the price. The pasta...delicious. The garlic bread...a must try!

Piada is a burrito. Pretty mediocre. Also had lobster bisque which was good for the price because no lobster in it. Tried the garlic dough which is a tortilla with garlic and butter on it and the basil pasta which is probably the only decent entree.

Love Piada. Delicious. Staff has good recommendations but I havent had a bad experience in four visits. The Chefs fav with crispy chicken is my go-to now. Thats the perfect starting place if youre new to Piada. Good luck keep it crunchy.

One of me and my husbands favorite quick dinner spots! Whether you create your own or try a menu staple, you cant go wrong. Try the Italian peach iced tea with a spicy diavolo pasta (and spring for a meatball on top!).

Food was good. Almost everything we tried that day seemed spicy for whatever reason. Not a spicy person. Fair value for the items ordered. Probably wont eat here a bunch unless I find something I really love.
