Disturbing experience on Mothers Day. Arrived for a late breakfast. The service was obviously behind. Upon finally receiving our meal after a couple inquiries regarding the lengthy wait we were offered complementary waffles to compensate for the wait. After taking the first bite of the waffles my wife bit into a nickle sized PIECE OF GLASS! Upon immediately removing the waffles and bringing it to the managers attention no action was taken by the management. A quick apology was made with a look of shock but no attempt was made to inform the rest of the patrons that there was a potential problem. My wife took it upon herself to tell the mother (with small child eating a waffle) at the table next to us what she found. Very disturbing.....this was our second visit but will not be back.

The menu is great and they claim to cater to different dietary needs, but a good menu does not do much if the staff always gets the orders wrong. Some of the cooking staff members are rude and will get upset if you try to correct your orders, they will use a very rude tone while they tell you "they will fix it" as if it was your fault. This restaurant specifically uses a "catering to different dietary needs" strategy, and I really dont think their service reflects these values.

Modern Market brings farm fresh food to the table at a price that wont break the bank. Average meal cost between 7-8 dollars for good portion sizes and a drink. The receipt also gives you a breakdown of the nutritional value of your meal - so if you are on a strict diet, it will take the guessing games out of how many carbs, fats, etc that you have consumed. Their offerings have a wide variety - from pizza, to sandwiches and salads.

This place is amazing! Staff is super. They know exactly what I want when I get there. They had my pizza started today before I finished paying. They didnt have my gluten free cookies today, so the manager talked to me, apologized and sent me home with some I could cook. Talk about service! I eat here at least once a week, sometimes twice. Most of the staff know my name. Its great! Food is fabulous and healthy!

My first 2 experiences were great. Since then its been a let down. Every time, theyre out of something... today it was bacon. Today was awful. My food was cold and the lady with colored hair was so rude to me for asking a simple question. We were the only people in there and some how it still took forever and my food was cold. The bathroom hadnt been checked in a while either, as I had to clean off the seat

Ordered chicken with asparagus and arugula salad. Went to go pick up the order since I work at city line near there. Got to my break rook and noticed not only am I missing my salad but I got potatoes. I call with the expectation that I could just go and get my correct sides but was told that I couldnt even though Im literally less than one minute away because they are about to close

The food is great, but my problem is with the staff. In the several times I have gone in the past month, I have never received my order right the first time. Its really frustrating having to go back and ask them to correct something, and have the staff give me attitude and tell me it was my fault. Always double check your order, because odds are that it was done incorrectly.

Nice restaurant with healthy food. It is nice for people who do care about their health. You can see exactly how much calories, fat, ... you are going to eat. The food itself is tasty. I ate the Thai Coconut and it was tasty. From the other hand the tomato soup was not worth it (Small size and taste is like one that you can buy in the supermarket).

Ordered a salad and literally half of the greens were old, wilted and soggy. Completely inedible. Not a pleasant experience when I wanted more greens and paid $11. This was the second time I ate here, and I already thought it was overpriced. After nasty greens no one happened to notice (when it wasnt particularly crowded), it will be my last.

Tried out Modern Market for the first time. Food was fine to me. My taste buds werent slap with euphoria. Had to wait quite a while for my steak sandwich (like 20 minutes). I think they were running low on steak or something but their customer service made up for it. I think the prices are on point. Looking to make them my breakfast spot.

My first time to a Modern Market - I wasnt sure what to expect. It is not a fast food place, rather a health conscious interesting selection. I had the gluten free pizza which was very tasty, although it doesnt fare too well if you store it in the fridge overnight and heat it up for lunch the next day. Will go back again.

Healthy and delicious food. The costermer service is amazing everyone is happy and ready to help. Tyler was amazing, I wasnt sure what I wanted and he was so patient and happily gave me a detailed explanation of my options from the menu. It is very hard to find outstanding the costermer service that is displayed here.

Their hiring process is terrible. The cashier doesnt speak English. The only things good about this place is their GM Mike and the food itself. And kombucha on tap. I showed a few minutes late to a job preview. Get outa town modern market thats refusal for employment or whatever idk Im pissed. You def said 10:30.

We had the tofu scrambles which were surprisingly very good. The potatoes were cooked perfectly too. The coffee could have been better and I really wish they had Tobasco sauce, but oh well. The environment was kept very clean with the help of the young girl who was busy moving about. Overall, very nice.

very happy with this chain. very good flank steak. wish they did a steak and eggs breakfast. fruit salad is good too. its not a melon salad like so many other places. fair price for what you get as well. breakfast is good, theyve given me perfect over easy eggs each time. keep it up!

Great sandwiches and green chile chicken soup. The Basil Chicken, Chipotle Steak and BLT-A sandwiches have all been excellent. Service good, took a bit longer than expected to get my lunch during the holidays when not so busy at lunch. Overall, very good, may be a bit pricey.

Delicious, healthy, and varied food choices that are made in a quick manner, lovely calm atmosphere where you can either relax or dive deep in a stimulating conversation with friends or your SO, and wonderful staff that greets you with a smile. Shout out to Tyler!

Fresh, high quality ingredients lead to tasty, healthy choices. Salads are fantastic - the steak salad is a particular favorite. And, while I rarely drink sodas, the stuff on tap here is amazing. Vegan and paleo diets can both find wonderful options here

I got the Farmer. Excellent salad. I did ask for the dressing on the side, but was included. However, the beverage dispenser. Brown spots in the water spout and in the ice dispenser cover. It is the lunch hour, so you need more folks cleaning the tables.
