Tonight Brian and I had a late dinner at Olive Garden in Riverdale. Olive Garden does not have many Vegan options. A couple soups, but they did have a white wine garlic sauce that they discontinued a few months ago. It was the only place open this late and I decided to try a new pesto sauce for the sake of not resorting to soup or marinara again. It was terrible. And I LOVE pesto. It was dry and pasty and literally the worst thing Ive ever had there. When the server checked in and asked "How are things?" I told him the truth. He of course apologized and offered something else but since there really isnt anything else and it was already late, I declined. No biggie. Within minutes the manager, Mike, came to our table and said he wished he would have seen my order come through because he wouldnt have recommended the pesto. He explained how they cant make a traditional pesto due to allergens etc, they worry about nuts and other ingredients so it really is a terrible recipe because they have to omit so many ingredients. I explained to him Im vegan, its no big deal and Im used to disappointment at restaurants

I love their food and kept going back in hopes for a better experience.. Their service is beond the worst of the worst, I literally have never received such poor service anywhere else in my life and on multiple occasions. Waiters/waitresses over the past few visits never filled out drinks, not even once. Three seperate times they failed to bring us our appetizer and we ended up having it given to us in a take home box with our receipts. I always go during the buy one take one home special, Ive had to ask the manager for my take home meal every single time. I can go on and on, I just cant beleive I have yet to have a single waiter/waitress be aware or check in on us OR EVEN get us what we ordered in the last 10+ visits. They need to either increase their % of take home on tips so their staff actually want to do a good job or hire a whole new staff.

Every disappointed with the service we received tonight. It seems like everything was taking for ever. It took a while to get our drinks. When our waitress brought us our food we had NO breadsticks because they said the cook burnt all of them. the waitress didnt even come back to see if we were doing okay in tell the bread sticks were done. The manager came over and said he apologize and he would fix our tickets but he didnt and then he avoided us for the rest of our time there. By the time everyone was already more then half way done eating they finally had the breadsticks. The manager was unprofessional coming over to our table telling us he was going to fix our tickets and that its there fault for not having breadsticks and then avoiding us and not doing a mangers job. Thanks for the experience olive garden!!

Ok first off I got food poisoning 7/27/15! I do not write reviews very often however when needed I do. Let me start by saying I have gone to this Olive Garden 3 times. First time I had to get a refund because the salad was a joke. Second time was fine and third time was yesterday 7/27/2015 got it to go. Ate it and about 2 hours later got food poisoning. Yes legit. Called this morning 7/28/15 The manager Jodi was really nice and refunded my money and forwarded my info on to their insurance company. Either way I got food poisoning there. Definitely not going back to this Olive Garden.

My family loves this place! We come here for most of our birthdays (free dessert!) and they have the best alfredo. The buy one take one deal is such a great value. Only downside is I used the website to get on the wait list and it didnt get us in sooner just put us on top of the list when we got here. My husband had meant for me to actually get a reservation for his daughters birthday so Maddi and Jason were helpful in getting us in sooner and Jason also got us an appetizer really fast. Kevin was very friendly and welcoming, and our server, Becka, was awesome. Great service

Terrible food! I will never eat here again. I took a bite of my daughters ravioli and had to spit it into my napkin. My kids would not even their food. My sauce was as thin as water. I hate paying for food I could make better at home. I know its not an expensive restaurant but come on a little quality is still expected. My food was cold and everything came out at the same time appetizer, salad, and entree, less than 15 min after ordering. Im not sure why it was cold unless it had been sitting there prior to my order. Save yourself and go somewhere, anywhere else.

The hostess who seated us was abrupt and somewhat rude. We were asked how many people and then she pointed and told us to go sit over there, which happened to be in the bar area. We did not receive silverware or menus from her but instead received them from our waiter, Michael, who was also the bartender, some minutes later. He was funny, polite, and professional. He was somewhat busy and wasnt able to provide us his full attention. The food took awhile to arrive due to the busyness of the restaurant. Overall I enjoyed my meal there and it was worth the wait.

First off, the waiter got us lost and led us to the wrong table, then just left. We waited for half an hour for someone to come back to take our order. We had a big group so we had 2 waitresses. The one barely understood English and we had to explain our orders literally 5 times to her. Then they messed up our orders, that took forever, after we waited 15 minutes for drinks. Paying was a lot harder than it should have been. They split the checks wrong and took forever getting us boxes. We usually love Olive Garden, but the service here is the WORST

This is hands-down the best Olive Garden I have ever been too. The manager, Carolyn Haynie is one of the most attentive, friendly and customer-service oriented managers I have ever witnessed. It was a Friday night and the lobby was packed full of happy wait-listed guests. Everyone was seated quickly and efficiently. The servers were efficient and quick in bringing out the meals. Our drink glasses were constantly filled. The food was incredible! We will definitely be back thanks to the amazing efforts or an incredible staff!!

Usually this is one of favorite places to go. But my last few dealing with Olive Garden in Riverdale, have not been as pleasant. Im not sure if they have new people working there or if there is something else going on. The last few times I have called they have put me on very long holds where I end up just hanging up. They dont seem as friendly as they used to be when I went to this location. Today I ordered the Tour of Italy, and it was mostly good. But the lasagna was burnt and in a hard nasty clump.

Best dining experience ever!! The food was amazing and everyone took such great care of us, we felt like royalty. The manager, Carolyn, stopped by to be sure that our visit was going well, to see if there was anything else we needed, and spent a few minutes chatting with us, which made her visit feel more personable. It was truly the best time weve had at a restaurant. We will definitely go back time and time again, and suggest you do too. Thanks to everyone at this Olive Garden. You made our night!!
