Unprofessional. Went in person to reserve the banquet hall for my mothers memorial service scheduled for 19 August for approximately 80 people 4 days prior. The hostess took my name and number and informed me the banquet hall was available and now reserved for our party. Fast forward to 19 Aug, following the memorial service I called to inform them to expect members of my party to show up. This was when I was told they booked another party for the banquet hall for the same timeframe and they told me they called multiple times to confirm if I was still needing the hall. First and foremost, in good faith, a professional business should always honor a reservation; its simply the right thing to do. Secondly, it wasnt until I showed after the memorial service that I was told my reservation was not honored because I did not place a deposit to hold the banquet hall. I was never told to pay a deposit when I initially booked, although if I were asked, there would be no question I would have paid to secure a reservation for a large party. The failure belongs to the hostess who took my reservation on 16 Aug, around 2 pm. Third point: the manager unprofessionally yelled and directed blame at me stating that it was my fault for not being able to secure the reservation because they tried contacting me. This is when I discovered the information they had for my reservation, written by hand on a scratch sheet of paper, had a number incorrectly annotated in between a 2 and a 0. After pointing out the hostesses poor handwriting, the manager did not even offer an apology for the mistake, nor any sort of compensation. She simply took a pen and overlaid a bold 0 over the questionable number as if that was going to help the situation the day of. If theres one thing you should learn from this review is when it comes to coordinating a simple reservation, they do not train their employers to an acceptable minimum standard, they are unprofessional in their work ethic, or a combination of both. I would practice trust and verification. Ive also never had a manager yell at a customer for a mistake of the company. If this is the face of customer service for AAA, then I believe it reflects poorly on the business and remedial training should be administered on the basics of etiquette.

You know I used to love this place when it first opened. There are certain things you need to know about buffets. Obviously, when you go during the busiest times, the food is hottest and super fresh. Its best pickins at that point with more constantly being rotated out by employees who actually make the food and took pride in what they were putting out for others to eat. But now, it seems like quite the opposite. Now, and especially during any slow periods, the food is brought out by people who look exhausted and angry to work there. They just throw it in the holding trays without mixing it or taking out the old crusty food or anything. During slow periods, the food isnt changed out as much or even babysat so its likely to get crusty and hard. I cant with good conscience recommend ANY of the so-called healthy food there. Im sure all the fruit comes in a big metal can that they just pour into a bowl for people to retrieve it from... But the fruit shouldnt TASTE like it. It all tastes like straight up metal, which if it tastes like metal, its absorbing it too so youre putting harmful contaminants into your body. Not that people come to eat healthy food at a buffet, but for those dragged along, dont you think a decent option is nice? The jello tastes sugar and calorie free. Worse even. I could eat that, but not from here. Im not too fond of the price, but Ive never ordered to go and paid by the pound (lb) either, so thats something to consider. This place makes a lot of money off the people who only eat 1 or 2 plates, but I dont blame them cuz of the people who go back for 5+. The only points I really give this place are that its always clean, theres always dishes and utensils available, and the people who come around to pick up the discarded plates are super friendly.

Let me start by saying the lighted sign in front was only half working so the AAA and the B were dark making the sign read “uffet”. My wife commented as we arrived, she hoped that was not a clue of the quality of the restaurant. Upon entry, our visual and olfactory senses were immediately heightened. The place was very busy and had cafeteria style seating allowing for little peace while dining. The aroma was less than pleasant and smelled like one would imagine a salmon sauna might smell. (Clue #2 incidentally) The variety of food was impressive to include some unusual offerings such as crawdads and frog legs. The teriyaki chicken was somewhat suspect however. I’m a serious carnivore and have raised and butchered my own chickens. I am familiar with the different parts of a chicken. Based on the size and shape of the teriyaki chicken, I would like to know just what part of the chicken it came from. (Clue #3) (Clue #4) This is supposed to be a “Chinese Buffet”. I did not see one Chinese person in the place and appeared to be run by Hispanics. Not that that is a requirement for a Chinese restaurant, but one would expect to see at least some Chinese employees. When I asked an employee a question about a food item, her response was “Sorry, no Ingles.” The quality of the food was average. The biggest detraction for me was the food that is normally served hot was luke warm at best and cold at worst. My wife also thought the food was dry and over cooked. After dining, both my wife and I suffered from indigestion and excessive gas. Hours later we were still burping and farting like a couple of hillbillies. When considering dining at a Chinese Buffet, just say NO to AAA,

To be fair, the food is alright. The king crab legs were drenched in salt but the huge selection of sushi does make up for it, although the seafood is not fresh. Everything else was pretty average. The customer service sucked so much, that I had to set up a an account on every single food review network to give them a low rating. The first time I went there was near closing time, so the waiters were literally breathing down our necks to see if were close to finishing yet. Having once worked at a restaurant, I can sympathize with the feeling. However, that does not give them a right to whisper behind their hands while glaring at us. The second time was today with my huge family in celebration of Mothers Day. The manager herself tried to cheat us by counting several kids as "adults". She explained that kids over 12 are counted as adults and she had asked them herself because "kids do not lie" - I quote, implying that WE would lie and cheat her. However, NONE of our kids were even 12, the oldest one just turned 11 in Jan and the rest ranges from 9months to 8. She shook her head, stomp her feet, and sighed intensely instead of trying to listen and find a possible solution for both sides. We paid and clearly state we wont be coming back. I would have disregard the argument if only she hadnt imply that we might CHEAT her out of the rightly due amount.
