Edited after most recent visit. While this location is still a far cry from where it was 5 years ago i have revised it up a star. My last two visits seem to have shown vast improvements. New staff and some of the serious attidunal long term staff is either working a diff shift or not there any more. The food was fresher and actually correct even if served at room temp. Server was much more attentive. So, maybe ill be brave enough to try diff locations now. Maybe. Original review: Cafe brazils quality of service and food has diminished greatly over the past 5 years, and this location is not exempt from that trend. The coffee is still good and they have a great selection. The last 3 times i have been here not only has been my order been wrong, but the food was served lukewarm. My server has been absent and asking for silverware, straws, refills or heaven forbid, the check is met with silence, derision, and in 2 cases, "I guess" topped with an eye roll and not delivered in a jesting manner. After my most recent visit here, all cafe brazils are off my restaraunt rotation. And this was the last good location.

We show up at 2:00 and sit for 10 minutes. 3 waiters pass by us, not caring that we have no silverware or drinks. Finally we grab a waiter, give him our order (I order a club sandwich. It has lunchmeat on it, which I cant eat as a pregnant lady because of listeria risks, so I ask this waiter if they could please microwave it to make it safe for me) and our drink order. nearly 10 minutes later, we still have no drinks. I finally walk out to my car to get a bottle of water I had out there. By 2:45 someone finally brings our meal out, and the lunch meat is ice cold. I ask if it was microwaved and they arent sure. So I send it back to be microwaved. Our drinks were never refilled, despite the fact that waiters were walking by us all the time. I still have no idea who my waiter was supposed to be, because everything was done by someone different. I left no tip, something I never do, We will not be back.

This location used to be spot on. Food, atmosphere, service, etc. For years we would eat here for lunch at least once a week (work night shift). We quit going because the place is just absolutely freaking nasty. Needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Roaches crawling on the walls several times plainly visible. The nasty dripping air return duct in the middle of the ceiling in the middle of the room....yeah...they painted it...but not much else. 4x4 support beams holding up the ceiling in the back dining room. Dont use the restroom....ever. The prices are not bad and the food always good. Service was usually great.....but man it is hard to see past the grunge and filth when you are trying to enjoy some good food. i know they are making some improvements.....but money wasted in my opinion. Shut it down. Tear it down. Rebuild.

Everything about this place screams amateur or I dont care. Weak lukewarm coffee at 8:00 in the morning across all the different flavors. Isnt coffee supposed to be one of their specialties? Servers with no uniforms, just hoodies. The signature brazilian breaksfast tasted like all the food had been cooked the day before and just barely warmed up in the microwave. Breakfast potatoes were rubbery and had no onions or no flavor The chorizo empanada was the worst, hard bread with no meat and canned gravy poured over, once again barely warm. It wasnt cheap either, $12.00 plus tip for breakfast. Dont waste your money here, there are a lot of places that have better breakfast.

The food has always been the least favorite thing about coming here. We loved it for the atmosphere in the past which has gone downhill with a lack of attention to physical appearance of this location for about 2yrs now. I used to love hanging out at a few locations for several cups of coffee and late visits w friends but the food quality has gone down more and prices have gone up for everything and none of it is worthwhile these days. I am sad to say we are adventuring for new cool budget friendly frequent hangout spots with friends these days. I hope they can pull it together soon.

Every time I go the waiters are extraordinarily lazy and the management couldnt care less about it. The past three times Ive gone at around 2 am on a Saturday night (when they should most be on their game to take in the bar crowd) theyve been virtually dead yet I had to wait more than an hour for a single entree that didnt show. Our waiter never even bothered to bring us water despite asking multiple times from other waiters. One time is just an inconvinience, two times an issue, but three times is unexcusable. Im not wasting any more of my time with this garbage place.

I knew when I arrived at 12:00 PM on Sunday morning there was going to be a wait, but I did not come for speedy service... I came for the pokestop giveaways and the pokemon. I caught a few Goldeens, a couple of Crabbys, a Gastly, Starmie, Pinsir, Nidorin, and some birds and rats. It took over 15 min to be seated, over 10 min to get my first order in, even longer for the food to arrive, but the food was great and all the pokemon and atmosphere made this trip a 4 star experience. Go team INSTINCT!

I have been to Cafe Brazil 10+ times, almost always late at night. The hours and food lend themselves to being a great late night stop that is better quality than IHOP. I additionally have bought their coffee beans before, which are good but you can find local roasters who are the same price and better. The only issue is that they always take forever to serve food, which isnt an issue if you are there to study but if you are there for the late night munchies than it can be annoying.

Service is very friendly and my food came out very quickly (I came at 7am). My server explained the coffee bar, and after pouring a salted caramel blend, I realized it was almost room temperature! I got the French Toast with hash brown casserole. The toast was amazing, the hash browns were so salty I couldnt eat them. My server offered to put my coffee in the microwave, but if youre going to call yourself "not just another coffee house" you have to at LEAST serve hot coffee!

I order my food to go. I wasnt completely sure if they were open with the construction work going on outside. I ordered French toast, eggs, bacon, and a quesadilla. The french toast had sugar that was crystallized making a crunch topping (gross) and the bacon was limp. Potatoes were hard and unsatisfying. The chicken was plain and the chips were stale. I LOVE the other Cafe Brazil but this one just didnt cut it. I would NOT recommend going here.

Its a good place to study, but it kinda always feels dirty and run down. Service has never been wonderful but never bad either. I kinda feel like the waiters are always tired. I dont blame them. Im normally there pretty late. The thing I dislike the most is that the chairs are pretty dang uncomfortable. Definitely not fun to sit in while studying for a long time. I cant complain too much though. Ill still be going back. XD
