If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. The manager/owner (Im not sure what position he holds) is extremely rude to every customer that walks in the door. Hes an older man with glasses and a constant look on his face as if he hates his life and job. If you see him, be prepared for a world of rude and abrasive responses. On one occasion, we went in and were told it would be a 45 minute wait even though there were multiple tables (both hibachi and regular) open. While I have worked in food service as a manager much of my adult life, I understand there are circumstances that are often out of the managers control in terms of who is working and how many tables a server may have. However, there is an appropriate and POLITE way to address the situation. Today I called the restaurant repeatedly to see what time they served lunch till. The phone rang and went to an answering machine each time. When we arrived at the restaurant, the man, who seemed more preoccupied with his laptop and sitting on his butt, was extremely rude to the guests in front of me as well as to myself and my family. He snapped as us and said they are closed at 2:30 - it was 2:15 when we walked in. If the restaurant closes prior to the posted time, they should probably lock the door or put a sign outside to avoid any customer interacting with this so-called manager. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never be back to be treated so poorly for over-priced, sub standard food. It is pity because we live so close and would probably be frequent guests at such an establishment. Between our group and the group in front of us, the restaurant lost out on hundreds of dollars of business. This has been a consistent experience and it is absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here, go anywhere else that deserves your hard earned money. The experience and cost are not worth the time and frustration. This place should be shut down or hire new managers to run it. Ridiculous.

We booked a big party there and requested one particular chef way in advance. When we arrived, they would not even seat our first guests even though the place was empty. Then they finally seated everyone, and we got the worst waiter one can find. He did not get our orders, did not refill glasses, when I asked to replace my fork because there was old food stuck to it, he did not bring me another one. After waiting for our hibachi chef for an hour, I finally went to talk to the manager about this. He was the rudest, most unprofessional person Ive ever met! He yelled at me, and told me he did not care if the 12 of us walked out of there, and interrupted me every other word. Seriously, I could not be more appalled at his behavior, and did not know that "customer service" like this existed in America. Do not profit this guy by going to this place unless you like being treated like garbage for a very mediocre food and very high prices.

Absolutely, the WORST service Ive experienced. the squid salad was EXTREMELY fishy, the chicken yakatori was burnt to a crisp and covered with so much eel sauce to disguise the charred flavor. I had enough time to receive both appetizers, my sushi roll and to watch the entire hibachi table receive there food and the chef to clean behind before my friend received her order of noodles!!! Not just that, but they forgot her fried rice and grabbed cold stale fried rice out of the kitchen. To make matters worst we were charged for entrees from the hibachi table that were nowhere near ours. We addressed all of the issues to the owner/manager of this location and his response was "Im so sorry next time you come I do something special, waitor was just hired two days ago" WTF?! NO!! There will not be a next time. Lesson one of good management skills ..... The customer is always right! Take ownership of this god awful establishment,

Great food - I usually order sushi to go and occasionally come into the restaurant for the hibachi grill. The hibachi is top notched. When ordering to go, there are occasional issues with items left off or not put in the bag, orders not being placed when I call and therefore I show up and they have not even begun to prepare the meals. But again, these issues happen in business and are the exception and not the norm. The quality of the food more than makes up for it in my opinion. On other words, the food is 5 star, the service can be as low as 3 stars so they average out at 4 stars for me. I would rather have great food with not-so-great service than top notch service with crappy food. If they will just tighten up the service, I will revise m review and give them the 5 stars their food deserves.

I have been going here for years and never have been impressed with the service. So naturally, three weeks ago when I went there on a date, I wasnt surprised my food was taking a while to come out. Countless staff members including the owner passed me by. Once everyone at the habachi table had finished, the chef called a waiter over and said what happened with this order? I had asked for sweet potato tempura and edemame. My date ordered a $17 meal. when the waiter returned, he told me they ran out of potatoes. They hurried to undercook literally a pile of beans and took the $3 they cost off as if it would help the situation. I was insulted and embarrassed. They didnt go next door to publix, they only pardoned us $3 and they overlooked the situation for over an hour. Never again.

Worst experience at a restaurant by far. My family and I came to this restaurant for my 16 year olds cousins birthday dinner and we waited nearly 3 hours for the chefs to come and serve us. The chefs were so rude and never even asked whos birthday it was or took the time out to entertain the birthday girl. Last but not least, my little brother ( 14 years old ) who has suffered from obesity his whole life was approached by the restaurant MANAGER and asked to get up so he could check the chair. He was trying to make see if the chair was sturdy enough for my brother to sit in since hes "too big". We werent compensated for the terrible service we received and he never apologized for the comment he made to my brother. I dont recommend anyone to take business there.

Very disappointed in our experience last night. I went with my family and there ended up being a physical altercation between the new owner and a customer. My husband and a friend helped break it up so it didnt become possibly worse. It scared my daughter, most of the waitstaff was very nice and apologized and checked on her. HOWEVER, not one time did the owner come over to thank my husband or our friend. He did not apologize for his actions or scaring my daughter. My husband was not able to eat his dinner and the owner did nothing to compensate him for helping out and not being able to eat his dinner. My family will not be returning to this restaurant and would suggest others not going either.

I used to love this place, but my recent trip was horrible. Who unplugs their phone on a Saturday night?? When I told them, they said they unplugged it because they werent taking to-go orders. Seriously?? At least answer and say that rather then dragging customers in and wasting their time! When I went in, the man and woman who usually host were running around to tables, ignoring the line of people just waiting to leave their name for a table. No "Well be right with you." Or "Thanks for waiting." The drinks to deliver at the bar seemed more important than customers that were walking in the door. Like I said, I loved their food, but their high prices arent worth the horrible customer service.
