Went in to order take out , food is extremely expensive! I ordered corn beef hash with eggs two orders that came out to 34$ !! That is ridiculous!!! Avoid this shitty place the cashier was rude as hell when I asked him why two orders of food cost this much down where I live I would pay 16$ for this same meal.! On top of that it tasted like crap very salty and had no taste at all eggs didnt taste right. the owner told me it would be worth the money no it wasnt got ripped off !!! Wanted to leave the food and walk out had the nerve to tell me that it cost that much because its in Forrest hill

I had a fantastic Philly Cheesesteak Deluxe at the T-Bone Diner yesterday, followed by their delicious Chocolate Pudding (I actually felt guilty eating it, as it was such a pleasurable experience! lol.). I enjoyed it in there, as the staff were very nice and the atmosphere relaxed. I was nice to sit down there after a good day out, walking around the streets of New York. There was one customer in there, who reminded me of Paulie Walnuts out of the Sopranos, as he was dressed in sportswear and had a similar way about him. I liked that! Thank you T-Bone, you rounded off my day nicely! :-)

EXPENSIVE FOR NO REASON FOOD JUST isnt GOOD AT ALL. Ordered a turkey burger deluxe with bacon and mushrooms. Total $16 last time I eat here should be $11 like most diners I been to. And I been to a few in the city for $13 with tip. Turkey taste like sausage guess they cooked it in the same place, Cole slaw was hot and little fires. Next time Im going to mc donalds. Smh wish I didnt eat that crap. Also the turkey patty was twice the size of the bun. If youre going to overprice a crap burger at least get bigger buns. Since 1934 or w.e it says

I ordered 2 chicken noodle soups to go for my - under the weather - girlfriend. It wasnt until I brought it home that I realized that it was clear broth and noodles. Thats it. There wasnt even chicken in their chicken noodle soup. I called and asked about it and was told that chicken noodle soup is always broth and noodles. No offer to refund or anything. Wont be going back... sticking to Tower Diner in the future. The be fair I havent tried anything else, so the 2 stars is based on this one experience and one item on the menu.

Went here several times during my Xmas vacation in 2006. I with my then boyfriend were treated like VIP. I cannot put into words the memories I have eating there and how I feel. The food was tasty and always piping hot. There will always be a special place in my heart for T-Bones. I plan to go back soon, just to see the cooks and staff.

Ive been going to this diner for a number of years and enjoyed their dishes, but last week I got severe poisoning from their brisket of beef sandwich. I vomited terribly and thought my stomach was coming out. Maybe, in this heat one should avoid their meats. There is also one waiter with a nasty disposition. Stay away from this diner.

Perfect for late night munchies, as theyre open 24 hours. Service is really friendly and attentive, and the diner food is solid. T-Bone is perfectly located right by the 71st Continental subway stop if youre taking a train, and right in front of the taxi cab queue that always forms if youre hailing a cab home.

Im so glad this diner just got a grade A again for their health department review. My family always have loved this diner and now we can enjoy going to it more. This is the usual diner were we would invite friends and family. As soon as the subway station opens in front of it again they will do great in business.

Went there this mothers day, very disappointed, stuff looked unenergized not that I can blame them, who really want to work on the weekend, we got a salad and the lettuce was moldy and the cucumbers were soggy, not to mention the mixed water loaded mixed vegetables, very very bad.. it was just a bad experience.

The food was not appealing. The burger for example was soggy and you can see it wasnt made with care. They also didnt have what we wanted to order like, seafood..they said it wasnt good today..also it felt like the food was over priced, not a good experience and would not recommend.

Stay away from the chicken Parmesan. It tastes as if they took the cheapest tomato sauce straight from the can and poured it over frozen breaded chicken. My girlfriend tried the Pastrami and Swiss and she said she enjoyed it. Her meal is the only reason this rating is so high...

Im not sure how this place stays in business. The food is average and a lot of Forest Hills old-timers congregate here. As an Astoria transplant, I may be biased in favor of the great Greek diners Astoria is known for. As it is, the food is edible but not necessarily enjoyable.

I had the lamb gyro with greek salad and the apple crumb cake...excellent... and service was great too..my uncle told me that this diner has been here for a million years..that means something.

An OK old style diner in Forest Hills right next to the subway and a few blocks from the LIRR station. The food is so-so but it is very convenient and the service is good.

Very rude and disorganized never going again . I also gave them a 4$ tip which is reasonable for staying for 20 mins and the staff was complaining right Infront of me .

Food was unexceptional, but way better than anything else thats open 24/7. But I have fond memories of late night dinners here, so Ill admit to some nostalgic bias.

This place is racist and they give you very small portions when they charge very high prices. The food is ok, nothing special but will do if your in a rush.

Good dinner food with excellent service. Sandwiches and burgers are good. The diner has been here since the discovery of Forest Hills. There is no parking.

This is my late night go to spot when most everything is closed. Service, food and Pricing are always good. Parking is always plentiful at late night.

Nice, courteous staff and the food is good. Food prep time could be better, but as restaurants and diners you will have a small prep time.

One of the best diners in NYC. I have never left less than entirely fat (generous portions) and sassy (they have a bar, too).
