First off the owner is very likeable and I suspect this is a big part of why he has such good ratings, to the point of being misleading. The place itself is nice and quaint. The fried mushrooms and stuffed jalapenos were frozen and not homemade so I would not recommend these. The bok choy side was tasty though. My ribeye steak was low quality so despite being cooked to the proper temperature of medium-rare, it was not that enjoyable. Shrimp Scampi was pretty good but no butter sauce or anything like that, just large shrimp well cooked with minimal seasoning. This place is fit for locals but not the sort of place you make a special trip to like I did coming from Hillsboro. People keep mentioning that the food takes a long time but it really doesnt, unless maybe the place is full of people, nobody else was there when we went. I probably wont be back but I could not bring myself to give a lower rating to a good man who is probably struggling to make a living. I guess I am pretty picky about my food and maybe the locals are just happy to have a place to go. Sorry.

Our experience was not recent. The food was good, the service was also good. What I didnt like, was hearing owners girlfriend telling us about their sex life they had inside the restaurant, in front of our daughter, while we are trying to eat! Kinda grossed me out knowing they did that where food is served

Hubby and I stopped here last night for the first time, very delicious home cooked meal. Come in, sit down, relax...and enjoy... Just one very nice older gentlemen, who does it all...and mean that literally...perfect for date night...he accepts cash or checks no cards.

Fantastic! Love the small place and the food is unbelievable. When we first pulled up we werent quite sure about this place but once we sat down to talk to the owner for a while and he cooked us up a wonderful dinner... we will be going back!
