Heard a LOT about the food here, so since I am a "foodie", I took the hour drive from LI to check it out. I was very disappointed and a little sad. The fried rice was decent (just like home cooked fried rice, which is fine) but the 4 or 5 little pieces of chicken (more like scraps) that came with it was not nearly enough compared to other Guyanese West Indian restaurants. The duck curry ($12.95) was terrible. No distinctive taste whatsoever !!! I also read about the Black Pudding (Lamb) being good, so I tried an order ($10.95) which was typical of any other place, except more money here !! Clearly this is NOT made there, but catered from somewhere else !! The Pork Lo Mein was just bland !!! The Goat curry was ok, but the goat was clearly not "washed" well before cooking... Just a waste of time and money !!! Chef Quang should be more like Chef Quant !!

TWO HOURS AFTER ORDERING AND OUR FOOD STILL ISNT HERE!!!!! We even waited on the stoop for the food and no one came! Confused, starving and pissed off!!! We order from grubhub all the time. This was our first time ordering on the yelp app and from this restaurant. We have never had an issue with delivery. This type of food shouldnt take longer than 35-40 minutes for delivery. We already placed an order from our regular Chinese spot and it was half the price/will be here shortly. Ordered food at 8:02. Tried to be patient as I know its Saturday night. Called at 9:17 to check on our order. They said it was going out "right now." We are literally 2 blocks away from them, but our food is still not here at 9:56. I have been trying to call the restaurant since 9:37 but it is busy or goes to voicemail. Definitely wont be ordering from here again.

I didnt want to do this but here... its my first time ordering .from this restaurant.... I place an order over the phone and my husband went to pick up.. I order one house special and one regular chicken fried rice.. wen my bf get there they only prepared one food he had to wait for the other one... Wen he get home both order was house special.... smh.. I lived so far... and I order the regular because of all the different meat that comes in the house special pork n such.... they need to do better ..smh Im piss.... this was my fist time n I experienced this.... smh... Ill give them a try again tho....

TERRIBLE Customer Service! I ordered over the phone and was told it would be 20 minutes. I went there 25 minutes later only to find out the order taker had given my order to someone else. I was asked to wait for a new order and I was waiting there another 35 minutes and still no order. One guy comes out speak with us because there were two other customers also waiting a long time, chewing on a chicken wing and with a stupid look on his face. Finally the manager comes out if you can call him that and was absolutely no help and didnt even try to make it right. Worst Experience Ever!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! The answer with a attitude the food takes over 1 hour to be delivered a few blocks and then get mad when you call to check what happened. They hang up the phone on you while your talking. They never get the order correct . I give them a phone number and address and the go to the wrong place or call the wrong number. It Wasnt my first bad experience it was the 3rd time this encounter has happened. I will never order from them again !!!

Full of flavor, THE BEST guyananess Chinese food Ive ever tasted, 100% delicious, this place should become a franchise, thats how awesome there food is, I love the house fried rice and the house low men, and the chicken fried rice , dont waist your money on the bland Chinese food, Chef Quang (mike) will have you going back for more, Guaranteed

The food here is OK, it comes across as something different than the regular Chinese food but then you see an asian come out the kitchen, no disrespect but when it all comes down to it its regular Chinese food, its not one of those places you keep craving for 3stars is modest in my view but youll be the judge when you eat here!

Every time you call and order food is an issue with the ordering they only 9 minutes away from my address and they telling me they cannot deliver my food that Im too far away Im about to stop ordering food from them this is ridiculous

Chicken Fried Rice was pretty good, wish their pepper sauce was a bit hotter. The black pudding was simply awesome and one of the best I tasted from all venues I tried and portion was more than others.
