I went here with my mother and best friend. We were greeted, seated right away, and got our drinks maybe a minute after sitting down. Services was great up until our water cam back to take our order. We placed out order for food and asked if we can get extra butter. We said "Can we get extra Mexican butter. The butter that normally comes with our fajitas." We didnt, work there and arent very familiar with the names of every mexican dish and side dish but Im sure she knew what the heck we were talking about. I know we werent the first ones to call it that. She looked at us and said "Do you mean Fajitas butter?" and looked at us with that blank stare duh look. YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL I MEAN. Anyway, after that she brought our food but didnt bring the napkins we asked for earlier. No biggy, mistakes happen. We said we will wait until she comes back. She didnt come back. We had to ask another waiter for napkins then 10 minutes later had to ask the MANAGER for a beverage refill because the other staff was busy. I dont know where she went off to but she didnt come back until it was time to get the checks. We still tipped well because we know that sit down restaurants have a tip pool and didnt want her poor service to affect the others paychecks. The food was delicious, the OTHER staff was friendly and very helpful, and the manager was very professional AND stood on the floor keeping a watchful eye over the whole operation. The only problem was that one waitress. I would recommend this place to anyone but would warn them of the waitress I had.

Actually sitting in the restaurant right now. With a group of about 15 people and 6 kids. Our server Jeremy sucks horribly. Hes constantly talking to the table as a group so you have to stop your conversation to figure out what hes saying. I wasnt able to order an appetizer because I was too busy talking to someone to notice he had taken orders for appetizers. What kind of server just walks up to a table and goes "who wants appetizers?" And then walks away before you even realize what he says. We had to hunt him down to order a drink. And even though we ordered all the same margarita. We had to correct him twice and he had to ask us again to verify. Ordering entrees was a complete nightmare. If youre having trouble keep tracking of orders you can stop with corny jokes that get irritating. Having been asking 4 times if Im on my own ticket while placing orders also doesnt add to a pleasant experience. The food is mediocre and the drinks are weak. I would not recommend coming here. And I would definitely recommend walking out if you have Jeremy as your server.

This place has been going downhill for a really long time. I am always surprised that it is still open. It is overpriced for the quality and the service is awful. It is my kids favorite restaurant because they love the queso and free tortillas, so we take them every so often. Today, it took nearly 10 minutes to be seated, but not because they were extremely busy. It just took them that long to figure out how to push 2 tables together to fit a party of 6. After waiting for a waiter for 10 minutes, we got up and walked out. The hostess that helped seat us just minutes earlier excitedly asked how our meal was as we walked out. Hahaha so clueless.

Tex-Mex places are a dime a dozen in Dallas, and alas, the search continues for one that stands out above the rest. The only thing that puts this place above 1 star is the service. Im not super concerned about service in restaurants, but I feel bad for the people working there if I dont give them credit. The food was really salty and the texture on everything was pretty homogenous across the board. Theres nothing special about the menu, and nothing is particularly well-made. Theres free ice cream which is cool. However, that ice cream is no good- and Im not picky about free ice cream. A plus is that they give you sopapillas in the end.

I am new to Texas and decided to stop by the first restaurant by myself in Dallas area. I was incredibly impressed at the cordial waitress Whitney who let me know about Texas hospitality. This is one of the best service Ive had throughout my travels in this country!I had no idea what half of he menu items were and she took ample time happily explaining every question to me. This is also the first location I have not feel awkward dining by myself due to her kind , pleasant and professional conversation! Thank you

My wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch last week. This was our 1st visit and we were totally satisfied! The bean soup was some of the best in town we have had. The enchiladas were also great! When our great waiter asked how everything was I mentioned that my only suggestion for improvement was to make the picante sauce with a little more spice. Without my asking the waiter had the kitchen make me a much better sauce. In summary - good food and good service! We will return.

We always go to pasados and we were there to celebrate my grandmas bday and also we came from out of town. We had 9 ppl and the server was awful. He took our order and that was the last we saw, then someone else brought us the food and the food was cold. Then I asked for sopapias as theyre free and he brought me one. Then we tried to talk the manager and he got hostile. We had told the server that we were paying for the grandma but he didnt do that. Very bad service and we love posados.

I liked the atmosphere, its similar to Papasitos but the salsa was gross, chips were okay. I had a few huge pieces of carrot in my tortilla soup? Fried tacos were extra greasy and waitress didnt offer extra plates for children splitting adult meals. Chimichonga tasted like a premade appetizer. Swirl margarita was OK. I wont be back.

Great atmosphere for a casual gathering. Its not a quiet place, but the decor and lighting is good. The food is hot and rich. Lots of cheese, salsa, and large portions. They make their own tortillas and chips, which are a nice change from many other tex-mex restaraunts. You can usually get a table right away which is a huge bonus.

Ordered take out through Grub Hub and found out when I arrived the items I ordered were not available at this location. The manager and bartender were beyond nice and apologetic about this mistake. I was so impressed with the way I was treated from the moment I walked in the door. I will definitely come back to dine with them.

We went about 11:15am on a Sunday, so we couldnt agree on breakfast or lunch so we had both. Had an excellent gyro pita with lettuce, tomato, onion and cucumber yogurt sauce. The pita was thin and grilled, so it was slightly crispy. The onion rings were tasty and crispy too. The breakfast was also very good.

Value and service was spectacular. Extras galore, chips and salsa, tortillas with butter sauce, sopapilla and honey, and soft serve cones. On top of that the food was good and servings plentiful. The young lady that waited on our 4 adult with a 2 year old was very friendly and helped us with our coupons.
