Life Rocks
Went in for Lunch on a Friday. We called ahead and the staff said they are open till 2:30 PM so we arrive at 1:30 to find an empty buffet, everything from starter to dessert were almost empty. So we ask the Server if they will replensih the food or if we should order from the menu? The lady said the refill of the food is on the way.... so Long story short at 2 PM after 7 reminders, we were still waiting for food to be refilled. This is the most horrible buffet experience we ever had. So this guys comes ut 2 pm who claims to be the manager and he argues by explaining how the buffet system works, he is unapolegetic for 30 minutes of wait and all he got out was 3 dry pieces of tandoori chicken. He went on to argue that we never asked him directly for the refill but we instead asked his staff that works there, this guy is a nut, he obviously doesnt trust his staf at all (I feel pity for the people working there). When we asked for the check to get out of this horrendous place, he had the audacity to get me a check for the full buffet price to which I refused and said will only pay for that dry tandoori bone. He went on to argue and just stayed quiet as its not worth engaging with idiots. He finally said he will not take any payment and left abruptly. I honestly wish this manager changes his attitude and just be customer friendly and things could possibly be different. I feel sorry for the staff and the business.

The food is ok and the service is average. This isnt the best or the worst place to get Indian food in the area. Ive been here three times so far. The first two for take-away (the second time they forgot the naan) and the third for buffet. The buffet ordering is odd (rice is near the middle of the table) but thats a minor quibble. The naan was hot and fresh and the food tasty. The public areas have been clean so far. Give it a try ---- Went for the 4th time right after posting this review. Got take-away again. Service was good, they gave us the wrong naan (regular instead of butter) but apparently gave us some chicken 65 to make up for it. The Chicken 65 was good and spicy and the other dishes were just as good. Well be ordering from them again

This used to be a good Indian place to eat with authentic Kerala curry - when it was a small to go place ! However, since the redesign, the quality of the food has drastically decreased! I had Kerala Parathas, Malai Kofta and chicken curry today! All 3 items sucked big time! The Kofta was too sweet. The chicken curry had far too much coconut milk in it (we are from Kerala and we know how its done!)!! The Parathas were the worst! It we as if they dumped old unsold Parathas on us! It was very hard, rubber like and literally inedible! I would not buy in this place again! Poor cooking.. Too pricey! They have definitely lost the small place charm!

Arrived at opening time on Sunday for lunch to experience my first Indian cuisine. We drove for almost two hours both directions. Our daughter spent the summer in India and wanted to share her love of Indian food with her mother and I. The buffet was our only option and we would have preferred to order from the menu but I was able to sample more variety with the buffet. The food was very fresh and the flavors were bold and aromatic. I enjoy spicey food so I was right at home. Surprisingly rich and very filling. Facility was clean and the staff pleasant. Will be back to continue this culinary adventure.

Buffet review Average. I have reviewed many Indian restaurants (check my reviews), unfortunately this one is not at the top of my list. While the food tastes ok, its just ok. IMHO The gulab jamun desert had a very weird taste. First of all, it was not even warm, second it had a soapy taste to it. Service is fine and the new design is light and airy. Were probably not going back - there are a lot of other choices in the Plano area. Will you like it? Maybe. There are a lot of 5 stars for this place, and Im just one opinion and one set of taste buds. Your results may vary.

Under new mgmt and kitchen team , overall experience is great ! I tried this place two times recently in last two weeks. Many options to choose, tasty food and prompt service ! My favorite has been butter paneer, chicken sukka , mutton pepper fry. Last evening we tried Bryani and it turned out good. I would recommend for anyone going for the first time to meet someone from mgmt as they take pride in customer service and seek there recommendations. They would also share renovation plans. Making it a great family place. Thanks

We love their food. On average, we order carryout twice a month. Our go-to dishes are the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. If you order the family meal, you get two entrees, a side of daal (lentils), rice, naan and yogurt for around $20, which is a very reasonable price. We will continue to order food here. The only issue weve had is they over-pack the food creating a leaning tower of curry, and once it all tipped over and spilled. No big deal, though. Were ordering out tonight!

The new management has got a new chef and the food quality has gone down with it. I have ordered food in the past for buffet takeout and catering and have been very satisfied with the previous chef. The new chef is not up to the standard. The naaan that we got this time were very hard and not eatable. It felt like frozen naan. The taste of butter chicken was also not good. And the quantity was also less. As this is the nearest Indian restaurant for me I hope they improve.

The good: Cleanliness, location, staff. Typical run of the mill Indian food. would be great if they stick to one region cuisine/speciality instead of combining many and doing a mediocre job of it. Give the customers a reason to drive to your restaurant and make that special trip. Dont call it Hyderabadi Dum Biryani if it is not, and saag is mustard greens not spinach or field greens. Save the oil and salt and please refrain from serving reheated kerala parotas.

Tried their buffet lunch on Saturday. Fish curry was good. Chicken curry was just ok. Putting lot of curry leaves doesnt make it kerala style. It lacked the masala and flavours. Hydeabadi biriyani wasnt great. Plain basmati rice was undercooked. Cabbage upperi was not cooked well. Payasam wasnt good. Not authentic south Indian as they advertise. Service was great. Good people. Also dont understand why they charge more on weekends for the same food.

We had dinner here. Chicken sukka was fresh and soft. Goat dum biriyani looked and tasted different from typical Hyderabadi dum biriyani. It was delicious! Porotta and chicken curry tasted authentic . It was a bit sour to my taste though .Service was fast. Updated : We had Saturday lunch buffet. Appam and egg curry was terrific. Ginger chicken was very good, Goat biriyani was ok. Kappa was bland. The fish curry was awful. Everything else was good

This is a truly great little Indian place. I am very passionate about Indian cuisine, but its difficult for me to find a place with great food and good service. This restaurant has exceeded my expectations! The food is excellent no matter if it is dine-in or take-out, and the people are always very warm and friendly. My fiancé and I have tried several different dishes and each one is delicious and authentic. I definitely recommend this place!
