The restaurant on Old Peachtree is great. The pizza is fantastic and the daughter/manager, Michelle, goes out of her way to make your experience worthwhile. The restaurant on Hwy. 120 is the worst. We tried it after it first opened and the experience was horrible - undercooked food and bad service. This weekend we decided to give the 120 restaurant another try. The waitress had no idea what the ingredients in the house salad were, the servers tried to serve our food to another table and actually gave the penne pasta dish my husband ordered to someone at that table. My husband told the waitress to bring his side order of meatballs and when they arrived, they were frozen inside. The garlic rolls cost $4.95 for an order of four but at all the other local, independent Italian restaurants, they are free. You get unlimited baskets of garlic rolls at Bibas Italian restaurant and they are 10 times better than this place, as is the service. We will always go to the Old Peachtree location while Michelle is the manager - but we will never go back to the Highway 120 location. My husband is a NJ Italian so he knows all about good Italian restaurants and this is not one of them.

We have been coming to Finis for 3 years now because the food is great. Ever since the other locations closed and shipped their wait staff to the Old Peachtree location the service has been very poor. Last night we waited 20 minutes for 2 garlic knots while another table got them in 10 and were seated right after us. Then we waited for a total of 50 minutes for our 2 calzones. There were two other tables that were also complaining amongst themselves about the long wait for food. Food was great as always but this will be out last time dining in. Service is just ridiculously slow and inexperienced. I expect the waiter to keep an eye on our ticket - we should not have to ask him where our garlic knots are. The manager really needs to retrain the staff or start over...or maybe she/he thinks they are good. Who knows! My recommendation - call ahead and carry out.

If you are from the Northern states your not a stranger to REAL thin crust pizza and how its supposed to taste. I cant say enough about how great and authentic the pizza is at Finis. I have turned several friends, family, and ordinary people on to Finis over the years. A few of which I bump into occasionally when I go. Once Ive gone there and ordered a pie and while waiting I was talking to another customer who was also waiting for their pizza. Turns out she was referred to Finis by a mutual friend who I introduced to Finis three years ago. We both thought it was so funny. Small world I tell ya! Anyway I wanted to post this because from my initial visit in 2008 I have always enjoyed myself and have never had a bad experience. The food is awesome and there is always a warm welcome upon entry into the restaurant. Keep up the good work!!

I am Italian and from Philadelphia/New Jersey area so I know what I real NY style pizza should taste like...When this place first opened and the owners were onsite, this was definitely the best pizza in Hall and Northern Gwinnett County. However, ever since Mossimo (owner) stopped being there full time the quality of the food has definitely declined noticeably...Over the past couple years Ive given them another shot in hopes of getting the the same quality pizza that they once served during the first few years of opening but am constantly disappointed. Today I am giving it one last go before I totally remove them off of my extremely small list of acceptable Pizza Parlors...Will post feedback shortly. Also, their cannolis were one of the best around, but we havent tried them in a couple years. Alex

This place was chill. I would not the pasta though. I ordered Pollo Marsala today and I was very disappointed. The pasta was fresh but chicken very dry, peas very al dente, and pasta was not seasoned at all. I disliked it because it cost 14 bucks for that pasta bowl and I got dry chicken, which in my book is low grade. Local restaurants always sit above chains but today in terms of chicken marsala , I would recommend Olive garden over this place. As far as the pizza and subs are concerned, my friend had a piece of small metal in one of his slices but the subs were good. So only go if there is a special like half off or something, not worth paying the full price.

I honestly dont like pizza but this place has awesome pizza. It kills me these reviews say so much negative stuff. The place on 120 has always been a little nicer, and the pizza is just a little better, could be my imagination but it just seems that way. I have been there over 20 times and all the food has been great, service has been great, and place has been clean and tidy. One day the AC was out, so we had to suffer in the heat but the pizza was still great. If there is a better pizza place around id like to try it.

Most people will find this place pretty good, it is definitely nothing like northern style pizza. So far in Ga, Taste of Italy in Woodstock and I Love NY Pizza in Griffin have first spot. Finis, you cant fold a slice itll break in 2, orange oil should ooze and drip off the end of he triangle. There crust is fine but too thick. Sandwiches are no worth the order but look spectacular... Taste eh . The Caesar salad was fine, garlic knotts uncreative. 3.5 out of 5

Prices are ridiculous to add toppings to anything! $3.00 per topping for a calzone..really? I ordered a chicken panning and the chicken was dry. I asked for a side of balsamic vinegar to dipped my sandwich in and I was told that it was .50. What? Save you money and go get a sreak! I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone!! Not to mention, they were not packed and other tables were looking around for their server. Horrible service to boot!!!

Highly recommended. I eat here at least once a month for lunch, mostly purchasing their pizza, both regular and sicilian, by the slice and sometimes their subs. The freshly baked bread products at this place are the main draw for me. The portion sizes are pretty generous considering the price and service, while sometimes overwhelmed, is always friendly. Expect this place to be slammed during lunch, as I often end up eating at the outside tables.

My daughter and I ate here before attending a concert nearby and were looking for a laid back affordable place with good eats and some outdoor tables. We were so impressed with Finis. The young man who served us was super friendly and attentive, the pizza was outstanding, and the atmosphere was super comfortable. Crisp crust with just the right "chew," tomato-y sauce, real whole milk mozz cheese. Yum.

The wait staff was great, the cooks were young and preoccupied my Calzone took forever and it came to me under cooked parts of Dough were raw and under baked.. The Ice Tea was some brown water with no flavor.. Oh the toppings for the Calzone are Extra and very skimpy..8.95+3.00 for fillings=11.95 Calzone needs to be Off the Hook crust and cheese are good but cant carry the price..
