Amazing find! The food is exceptional -- creative but also authentic Mexican. This is not your average burrito joint -- this is a true gem! The real deal. Theres not a lot of atmosphere, but the surprisingly elegant plates of deeply flavored cuisine and the warm, excellent service more than make up for it. We also liked the byob policy, and they even gave us some limes to go with our coronas (which we bought at the deli right across the street). The FISH TACOS!! maybe some of the best Ive ever had. The roasted cauliflower and unique sauce really make them amazing. I also thought the yucca fries were perfect -- crispy and salty with plenty of that wonderful yucca texture and flavor that I love. The "Garden" dish was a hearty mix of vegetables over a fantastic "green mole" -- a uniquely satisfying vegan option. Cant wait to go back!

Wanted to go to a place the day before valentines day that was close by because of the extreme cold. I found this gem by Google search near me. It had nothing but five star reviews. I have never noticed this place before. So glad I found it. We were greeted right away and seated. The staff is very friendly very, family like. The décor made me feel like I was in Williamsburg - small but cute. We ordered a whole bunch of different things off their menu. Everything was amazing!! It was very different then any Mexican place I ever been too. They definitely have a different taste style. But I love it something different for a change and it hit every taste bud. Everything was super fresh and made to order. Highly recommend. I am craving there guacamole and nachos as I am typing this lol. They deliver too! Yessss!!

Maybe ordered wrong, but not that impressed. As an app I had the tamale with chorizo and mussels. Frankly the only tamale Ive ever really enjoyed was from a woman with a street cart in Queens who made her tamales with lots of lard, so that the tamale was smooth and rich tasting. This tamale was moist and came in a sauce that would have been tasty if not for the fact that the mussels added a fishy taste. For the main I had the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce: dry shredded chicken that didnt seem to have actually been cooked in the sauce (which could have used a bit of thickening) and tortillas with a gooey texture. Oh well.

Felt like a seafood enchilada so dropped by this place. They didnt have it on the menu but the cook whipped it up for me, result wasnt what I expected, tasted unlike enchiladas I usually get, and wasnt that salty so you actually get to taste the flavour of your food. Great quality everything.

The green rice that comes with the pork chop is really good. I think it is intentionally slightly overcooked or fried after cooked because some of it was crispy, and they stir in tomatoes, olives, bacon and some other ingredients in it, which added so many flavors to the dish.

Incredible food. I dont know how this places isnt insanely busy all the time. Truly a hidden gem. Not only is their food menu off the charts, they have a great cocktail menu. I have come back a dozen times and the food is consistent, delicious, and full of heart :)

Visited twice this year and had an excellent meals. On my first visit I had the fish taco as an appetizer and the chicken mole entree. On the second visit I had the pork and beef tacos. I went during lunch hours and it was not crowded at all.

Best Mexican in a neighborhood where Mexican is the local food. Good prices, the service was very friendly and you dont feel like a freak if you dont have tattoos! (Ask for the sauces on the side when ordering takeout or delivery.)

Incredible food & drinks by the nicest people. I dream about the Chicken Adobado...though Ive had nearly everything on the menu at this point, and nothing has disappointed. This is the perfect place to go with a friend or date.
