Really loved this place, might be the best buffet Ive ever been to as the food is not just dumped under a heat lamp all day. You can see them making the sushi and stocking it as it runs out right in front of you. The selection of sushi is also super big, theres something for everyone and its super fresh. My favorite part were the crab legs, felt very fresh and they were huge. They also have a lot of other really tasty seafood such as mussels, clams, and oysters. On top of that you have a lot of salad options, all of which were delicious. Theres also a section with tempura (fish, vegetable, shrimp, or calamari), a section with various teriyaki foods (pork, lamb, beef), and an absolutely delicious desert selection. Not gonna lie I spent 2 hours eating, from their afternoon opening of 5:00, and tried a little bit of everything. The price might seem high but for what you get and the quality they serve it at it is 100% worth it. For example, the amount of crab and oysters I ate alone would ring up a more expensive bill at any other seafood restaurant.

We came around lunch time a few weeks ago, we tried it about 2 years ago when my child was 2. The woman who runs it is horribly rude and it really does reflect on the replies to these comments. The first time 2 years ago the food was FABULOUS this time is was very sub par. Pretty expensive for some old sushi and hardly any seafood, you would think as much as you pay at lunch it would be more seafood. Long story short I pleaded with my husband to give it another try because the food was so good ( the first time) but they seriously charged my 2 year old who didnt even eat!!!! He grabbed rice off MY plate and spread it on the table and put it in his mouth! Leaving a few pieces on the floor. The manager sneaked his bill on our bill and when I asked her about it she said either your clean or you pay! What in the world!?!? Mind you I had already left a HUGE tip. My husband was furious. Second time around we just paid for my son ( now older) and the food was gross at 12:30. Ughh I really wanted to enjoy this place

I didnt know why all the negative reviews because the last time I was there. The prices were cheaper and you was allowed one free lobster and all the dungeon crab you wanted as long as you finish the whole thing. So last night I decided to treat myself for my birthday. Well to my surprise. They discontinued the free lobster and the dungeon crab and they went up on the prices. Kim Son would have giving me a free meal for my birthday. But no such thing here. And beware of the gratuity. Its already added to your bill. And when you sign for check. I guess they are hoping you dont notice because it ask for the gratuity again. Our waiter was the good but not that good. As for the prices they are charging. They wont be seeing me in there for a very very very very long time. And you can bet that I wont be there for my next birthday. I will go to Kim Son and get a free meal and wont feel like I just got ripped off.

The food is great, other than the sushi rice is a bit dry and hard. Sashimi, Tempura are great quality. Noodle soup is also good. However, the service is really bad. The lady at entrance (I guessed she is the manager) talked loud and rude. The waiter/waitress had never come to refill the tea or cold drink, as well as to collect the empty plates. We had to call them a few time. They just grouped together standing some where.when they came to the table, they looked rather unhappy. I do feel such a shame that the great food and the lacking in service. Myself love the food here with fair price, however when we bring friends, colleagues here for a treat, the bad service does make the whole experience unpleasant and disappointed. Ps: we were suggested 18% tips and we paid. But I even never see a smile at anyones face, and the occupancy is about 40% the day.

this place is loud and dark. the food is ok, the sushi selection is definitely better at Kirin thats 5 min away, they have much bigger pieces of fish with less rice and better selection. The last part is not the restaurants fault but still affects my lunch eating experience: it must be a neighboring business but a whole lot of customers at lunch are old fat loud coughing sneezing men that are pushy in line, grab food literally from in front of me by cutting in line and throw the food tongs out of place, rude and talk very loudly and stare at me as a female trying to eat lunch. Never heard that much hacking, snot snorting and coughing in a food establishment in my entire life. Couldnt find my server anywhere for check 3 people looked for him. Not coming back.

So I have to say I absolutely love the living hell out of this restaurant never have I ever walked into a buffet with sushi being such high quality and freshly prepared right in front of you. The dinner price is steeper due to its quality and selection getting more expensive which is fantastically worth every penny. Now Ive been reading through these reviews and I am 100% disappointed about the shady people popping in trying to steal business from them to go to Kirin that alone makes me never want to step foot in their doors. Shady business practices will not get my patronage I mean most of the 1 star reviews are from them. But Tokyo Japan will always have me as a customer! Hell Im going there tonight for their dinner buffet!!!

Food is not that great. Im not sure what all the ratings are about but if you are a sushi snob, this is a poor excuse for a sushi restaurant. First, the owners are nickel and dimers. They let the higher priced items run out, and then not refill for a time even when asked wheres the crab legs? Wheres the tuna sashimi? They force u to eat the lower cost items like egg sushi, fried rice, etc Given the price point of $29 for dinner, there are so many better options for sushi. (Go in town) Also they charge for all ages of kids starting with 1 year old which blew me away. "Your kid has a bottle but ate a scoop of ice cream? She ate so we charge!"

A friend told me about this place and we love it. My family and I now go about 3-4 times a year. We have to drive 2 hours to get there, but well worth it. Yes it is about $30 for all you can eat seafood, but you are going to spend that on the admirals feast at red lobster and their seafood is very poor quality and just plain nasty. The sushi is fresh, great oysters, and the snow crab legs. Everything here is great,. If you have never been, let your waiter know so they can tell you everything included with the buffet, including the soups, hibachi grill, and the hand rolls.

I have been to this place a few times, and somehow they put the same server on our table, David. Since i always come to this restaurant when i have a group more than 6, tip is always automatically included. I guess thats why David is not serving so well on our table. (15% Tip is already there, no matter how you serve.) I know he has been working there so long. Sometimes i was embarrassed by how he treats my table, my guests. Their foods are great so i am sure id continuously use this restaurants, but i should ask for another server.
