This was my first time trying Peruvian cuisine. And now Ive starred this place because itll be one of my new go to restaurants. This cozy eatery is a pilot for the chef/owner who started with a good truck. I tried the lomo saltado, which had steak that was tender and flavorful. My wife tried the pork stew, which if it were from an Asian kitchen, would be called a curry. It had a great depth of flavor from the native Peruvian spices. The fried yucca was done correctly, compared to the dry, fibrous fries you sometimes get from some restaurants. While its location is unassuming, and the sign is hard to see from the road thanks to a tree poorly placed by the property manager, this is a MUST try! Theres a good reason its tatted 4.9 out of 5 on Maps.

Our first visit to FI and it was pretty good. The cilantro rice was really good with a limey cilantro flavor but seriously, it is a crime that the rice was that salty. Less is more-salt shakers are on the table for those that need more. Also, the seating area is small so I understand that only one server is needed, but she got slammed soon after we came in: please consider setting up a soda/tea mess so that customers can refill on their own-it is not good when you need a refill because the food is so salty, but your server is slammed with tables and cannot get to you soon. We will be back and hopefully, since this is the second mention of it, the kitchen will in fact lay off the salt.

I was excited to try this place, but was disappointed. I guess thats the problem with overhauled places. The prices were very high and the food was overall salty, in particular the rice. My brother has been to Peru and had authentic food from the trail guides, and he said this doesnt come close to it. Hes not a food person, but I do trust his taste buds. The killer for me was the price. I feel like they did not adjust the prices from what they charge in their food truck, which I can understand due to the higher costs. I should have known anyways since there are very few food trucks that are very good in my opinion.

What a wonderful place. Ever get filet from a restaurant and it looks good but when you taste it a wierd after taste happens? Not here! The steak is succulent and flavorful until the end. The juices and crisp onions balance very well They also have homemade Chicha Morada which is delicious and inexpensive. You must get some. Its also all natural The server was knowledgeable and diligent. Even though she waited all the tables I never lacked for anything. Great Job!

ordered a few different things off the menu to go for the family, first off the food was done super fast which surprised me. the items we got were really good as well. we ordered Chiccaron de chancho, pork was very tender and good, yucca fritas were fantastic, papa a la huancania, on the fence wasnt bad but wasnt as great as other dishes, the steak and chicken lunch sandwiches were fantastic and sudado de pescado, aside from salty rice was great, will defiantly go back

Im Peruvian so Im very picky with Peruvian places since for the most part they dont get it right. I recently ate at the Freakin Incan and it was delicious! Very authentic Peruvian food! I was impressed. It felt as if I was eating at my familys dining table. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat real, authentic, and delicious Peruvian food. Only place in Atlanta area (Roswell) that gets it right.

The food flavors are stupendous, ceviche perfectly balanced. Unfortunately we had a poor service experience on our first trip here which happened to fall on mothers day. I hope to go back and give them a chance to redeem themselves. 60 mins before entrees are served doesnt work when you expect "street food" to be a little quicker. Ill be happy to give them a second chance when they have some octopus available ;-)

This is a good little restaurant. I visited there for the first time one Friday evening. The menu is compact, but has a descent selection of items. From the excellent fried yuca ( and accompanying sauces ) to the tasty lomo saltado, this place is worth a visit. It isnt the easiest to find though - the trees in the parking lot block the sign on the building.

The freakin incan is truly freakin amazing. Had to stop on the way from Atlanta airport to Tennessee Mountains. Wasnt sure if it was worth 7 miles Of 575 but it was truly a great find awesome staff and great foid and reasonable price. You wont be dissapointed. The real deal in Peruvian food !!

Food here is really tasty. Kind of a small place and it would rock if you get a pisco sour ... But they are only bet and wine. The chicha morada drink is a yummy fruit drink. One of my favorites is the tallarin saltado (noodles ... Both the chicken and steak is good). Not a very big place.

Really nice place for Peruvian Food... Small, but very tasty, fast service and some authentic taste of Peru. My wife is Peruvian and FI is a nice place to visit while she is back in Peru teaching. Try the Lomo, tasty! Some items are a bit pricey, but always fresh!

One of my favorite spots! Ive spent loads of time in Peru and its nice to revisit my favorite dishes -- feels far more authentic than other Peruvian restaurants in the area. Its helped me entrance my friends and family with Peruvian food as well!

Best Lomo Saltado! Both the chicken and beef versions was so delicious! Very Reasonable prices! We also had the shrimp mashed potato app and it was so unique! The green spicy sauce is the bomb! Very nice staff! Clean and cute inside.

Certainly worth the drive from Lawrenceville! This place is clean, modern and not tacky as ethnic restaurants tend to be... the flavor of the ceviche is straight out of Lima. All the sauces are amazing. The chicha morada is perfect.

Ive been to Peru several times this is the most authentic Peruvian food Ive found in the states. The place is casual, the food is excellent, and service was good. Thanks Freakin incan for bringing Peru to my home town!

Good Peruvian food, steak for the lomo was a little over done, sauces were well prepared. If was closer, would maybe try again, but at over an hour away, it wasnt good enough to entice me to make the drive again.

I learned how to make ceviche from a Peruvian family years ago. I ordered it tonight. It tastes very similar to what I was taught to make! It was wonderful! I am excited to taste what else is on the menu.
