Recommended by another restaurant owner when discussing available and good Mexican themed places in the Woodlands. Went for the first time on Wednesday night. What a pleasant surprise. Mostly seafood (Pacific Mexican) dishes. Prices great, food very good and plentiful, margaritas could be better. Long happy hour period. Wednesday night they have 1/2 priced specials, which we tried. We had a fajita platter that was more than enough for two. Charo beans rice, guacamole, and a large piping-hot platter covered in sauteed onions, green peppers, and whole jalapeno peppers, with strips and strips of well marinated and very tender beef. This was no puny amount most restaurants provide with sometimes chewy or gristly beef. On top of that there were 6 jumbo shrimp (fresh) wrapped in crispy bacon as well (generally a complete entree by itself anywhere else) - delicious. Service was very good (need to ensure some servers that speak English in order to answer questions). They also had their version of a New England shrimp boil dinner also for half price. We paid for dinner and one margarita just over $20 - and were stuffed, and had to take some home! What a deal, but even better it was really good! Going back with friends next time to try other dinners.

I have never had shrimp that looked loaded with flavor taste SO bland. Every single time. Their "blackened" fish isnt blackened at all, it has the same bland paste they use for the shrimp. Ive ordered over the phone a few times and every time I go to pick up my order they ask me what sides and extras I want even though they already took my order via phone. On top of that, its a long process over the phone talking to at least 2-3 people before they get my order. I do not recommend this place at all. Its unforunate that I have to eat there, but its within walking distance from work and cheap. Only good thing on the menu is a basic burrito which is still not very good at all.

For the second visit this tops any mexican restaurant in the woodlands for its amazing sizzling fajitas along with fresh guacamole, rice, and Pico de gallo. But cant forget the warm great taste of beans a la charra. If your near the woodlands I personally recommend you to stop by on Wednesday for the 1/2 price special $13 plus change for the above mentioned entree for 2 people !!! Thanks to the great staff that make you feel at home....

We had just checked out of the hotel and decided to check to place out on the way home. We liked the atmosphere, staff was friendly and work hard and fast. We ordered the Choriqueso as an appetizer which we though was pretty good. We ordered the 6shrimp 2 fish plate for lunch and I have to say Ive tasted better. Overall the experience was great and its not expensive.

It was ok. I had the shrimp and fish soup. It was satisfying but I should have tried something fresh, like their ceviche or shrimp cocktail. It was a break from inching along in traffic on I 45 feeder road. Traffic was bad and it was the only place I saw after the Olive Garden I passed up. Waitress was very friendly also.

Got overcharged by 50 dollars, spoke to the owner who stated she would look for cc receipt and get back to me. I left her my information and needless to say i never heard back from her. My bank gave me my money back and shes yet to produce the fraudulent receipt. Dont go there unless you want to get ripped off

Bad experience all around. Ordered a kids fish platter for my toddler and the fried fish was raw in the center. Raw oysters were bad! Got really sick from them. If you cant do fresh seafood or fried seafood right then dont take your chances here.

Food was bland and the waitress never said one word to us the entire time we were there! I am assuming she either did not speak English or she did not like us for obvious reasons.
