Among the plethora of Vietnamese restaurants Houston has to offer, saigon house stands uniquely among the rest with a modern spin on some classic favorites. The most unique dish they have to offer is the spreg roll and this dish is enough to differentiate between this Vietnamese restaurant and the hundreds of others. Its a spring roll with a cripsy spring roll on the inside. Love the soft crispy texture and the sauce is sweet and savory. The interior is spacious and modernesque. All the food is made to order so quite fresh. I went one day when they had 5$ specials and I ordered some nachos which was pretty good if youre craving junk food. It couldve had more meat on it, but it was satisfying if youre craving nachos with cheese that emits a delicious neon glow (Im no food expert but I can tell you probably not the best thing to order if youre dieting). I also ordered beef Lo mein and chicken rice dish. These last two dishes were fair. Flavors were ok, but I WISH they had added more to the dish. It was bare, expensive and was inferior to a chicken rice dish I couldve gotten at pho pick a number. Pretty much the chicken dish was chicken, rice and fish sauce. Thats it. No extra vegetables, egg is an extra dollar. Lo mein- not traditional and not exceptional. This place however is worth the visit for the spreg rolls! They seem to be doing lots of promotions lately and I would definitely check it out!

I have tried a few items on the menu and my favs are the appetizers! The egg rolls, spring rolls, spreggrolls and dumplings are amazing! The flavors of the vermicelli noodle bowls and the fried rice were good but the portions were much smaller than Im use to. I come here as often as I can to get egg rolls and speggrolls. I hate peanut sauce because I dont eat nuts but their mix of creamy (not crunchy) peanut sauce and spicy mayo is incredible! You must try it! Great customer service every time I come! Every member of the team is kind and helpful.

Facing Main St 1 block north of Elgin across from the HCC Admin building...plenty of parking in back and side street. Everything Ive tried chicken, beef, fish, tofu has been very fresh with excellent taste. I eat there at least 3 times a week. My favorite is the customizing bar for spring rolls and Bahn Mi. It has a modern chic decor with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

My first experince with their delicious food was via Uber eats a couple months ago, food was delicious and filling. I had a couple more meals delivered and expeienced the same experience. I happened to be in the area today and decided to stop by and have lunch. Staff is Friendly and feels like a Great Family environment. Looking forward to more great eats!

One of my friends told us to meet her there for lunch. She said they were going to celebrate the New Year with special menus. The food is so good that I put the Saigon House on my list to eat at if I ever am close by. The service is always warm and friendly. They were playing music and had traditional dress. What a Great Place!

The food is to die for. From their spring rolls to their spicy sweet & sour chicken. Weve had their honey chicken and mongolian too. Its hard to choose one over the other. They also have great teas. The restaurant has very nice decor and waiters are great specially Patrick. We have made this place our number for lunch or dinner.

Best fruit tea. Made freshly with pieces of fruit inside. The saigon house fries are to die for as well. Its decorated beautifully. And the owner is many times there and very charismatic and welcoming to his customers. As well are the employees. They are courteous and respectful towards the customers.

What a gem of a Vietnamese restaurant near downtown. Dont bother ordering from the surrounding competitors because this place has a great atmosphere, friendly servers and the food is a solid A. Yes, better than pho Saigon, Les Givrals and red pier. Thanks Bam for taking care of us.

Saigon House has inexpensive Vietnamese sandwiches and spring rolls, custom made for you ala Subway (as you watch across the glass.) They also have Pho and other entrees, Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea, all in a comfortable contemporary setting with a friendly staff.

If only all banh mis tasted like Saigon House Houston! The bulgogi beef is a winner, and their kimchi fries are a must. They offer a fried egg add-on in a variety of styles, and the runny is the superior choice. Top it all off with the Vietnamese coffee. Major win.

Went at 10:15am. Door closed. Open neon sign was lit. Verified online that they open at 10am. People inside saw me and didnt open the door or wave me off or anything. Just starred. Even after waiting 5 min outside in the cold. Cant try this new place so I moved on.

Nice decor. Friendly staff. I had the biggest spring rolls ever! They let you put whatever you want in there! The prices are really good for the portions. I had the Vermicelli Chicken and so did my gf. She had to take some home with her. Check them out.

The Spreggrolls are ridiculously good!! You must try them. They are a spring roll with an egg roll in the middle. Crazy good. The mix of peanut sauce and mayo that they do on the side should be illegal!! They are an exceptional gem in Midtown‼️

The food is great and the customer service is excellent. I really like that they remember my name and do not make me feel like just another order. The Banh Mi and Spring rolls are my favorite. Visit them once and youll be back for more.

Wouldnt recommend for Pho. Went right after lunch and they were out of Dac Biet. Plus, almost 10 dollars (9.95) for Dac Biet. Kind of high for Pho in the area. Went down the street to the other Saigon and $7.50 for Dac Biet.

As an Uber eats driver they never fail to make sure that the food is right and packaged correctly for delivery to their many loyal and repeat customers. They treat us as delivery drivers as Id we are a valued member of staff.

Been eating at this place since day one and the food is consistently good. I recommend their Vermicelli bowls if you crave for something balance: a bit of veggie, some protein, and carbs.

Great prices, beautiful decor, delightful staff, delicious Vietnamese and fusion cuisine. Both Spring Rolls and Bahn Mi are made as you watch them, customizable ala Subway.

Nice contemporary setting, very quiet and reserve with good food but not enough affordable lunch dishes that you usually get at an Asian style college area restaurant.

I ordered a rice plate. Minimum amount of food: a piece of letters, a piece of cucumber, and several pieces of pork... It does not taste okay at all.
