Packing so much quality into so small a price, is nothing short of a miracle. People often only come to rant or complain, so to have so many good reviews should tell you something... that something is to set aside a weekend date for this place. Know someone is a lover of seafood, pass on Joes and drop by. The lower floor is a little cramped, and due to precautions, diners with children will have to eat downstairs. However, have a group of friends, and upstairs dining is a wonderful experience. The environment there is very party friendly, but if you plan on an event, please call ahead. This place is either empty or crammed, so if you want a quiet experience, take a day off and visit for lunch. It wont hit your pockets hard either. For any fan of sushi, the rolls are amazing. Firecracker and Silver King are personal favorites, and Silver King is cooked, so its a good door opener to inquisitive sushi newcomers. The Blackened Red Fish and stuffed Flounder are good items for people who love seafood but want to stay on this side of the sea. A few children and picky-eater items are available so you dont have to skip on inviting any friend. Overall a great secret to everyone whos been, and a wonderful retirement to the heavy traffic.

We came here to try some new Seafood on our date night. There is a room upstairs where its only for adults. Thats really nice because on date night when you dont have children you oftentimes dont want to have children around LOL. Our waitress whats good and diligent, however it was very busy so she took a little longer than we would have liked. However thats what happens when you come into a place like this and its very busy so we understand. I did take the recommendation of the server and I was delighted by my blackened halibut and steamed vegetable dinner. The fish was perfect not overcooked at all tender and melted to the touch. The Ambiance I would say is average, the noise level at the beginning due to the rush was hi but as people cleared out of course it became more quiet in nature. It seems that people actually eat quite faster and leave. My husband and I however take about 2 hours at any Eatery on a date night and sometimes we could even spend three or four hours depending on how many courses we decide to try. I enjoyed everything about this place. They even had a reasonable selection of sake which Im a huge fan of. We didnt try any of the sushi rolls but they did all look amazing so we will be back to try them out

If I could I would give them less than one star. I will never set foot in the place again. I made a reservation for after my Mothers viewing for 25 at 8:30 on a Sunday . They took the reservation. Everything seemed great. The hours on google maps said they closed at 9:30. I thought it was cutting it close but we had an hour to get everything ordered. I figured they would say something when I made the reservation if this was going to be a problem. So we arrive a few minutes before 8:30 and were told that the kitchen closed at 9:00 and that we had to have our order in by 8:45. They would have called back but the hostess erased the caller ID. On one of the worst days of my life they made things so much worse. My entire family was arriving and I had to tell them we have no where to eat. They should have honored my reservation and kept the kitchen opened. Totally lack of professionalism.

I had a nice dinner with friends here, and the general consensus was that well have to come back. It took a little time to get a table - our party was a little on the large side, and apparently they seat larger parties upstairs. It wasnt a super-long wait, but it seemed a little odd. Once we were seated, though, it was quiet-ish, service was fairly swift and personable, and the food was pretty tasty all round. Several of the party got sushi and enjoyed it - the rolls tend towards the large side but the quality seemed good. One friend got a dish involving a small grill and some skewered steak - the meat seemed to be of good quality. My wife and I each tried a pair of soups, and both the lobster bisque and the seafood chowder had a strong savory flavor and proper consistency. I look forward to sampling more of the menu on future visits.

This place is seriously amazing! It doesnt look like much on the outside, bit this belies what youll find inside! Ive tried some of their seafood, and its always succulent and cooked to perfection, but it seems like I keep coming back to their red meat!! I highly advise trying their sous vide steak and pork belly, and their Piece de Resistance, their dry aged ribeye. The quality of these dishes has me thinking they should change their name to the "Red Meat Grill". And Im not even getting into their cocktails! Suffice it to say, theyre amazing, as well. Ive been here on many occasions, and Im yet to be disappointed. Ill eventually get through their whole menu! They just make it so difficult with dishes youll want to keep coming back for!!

Tried to eat here with my mom and my 83 year old grandmother yesterday and were turned away. Nowhere was it posted that it was reservation only nor that they were booked all day. Why ask how many people were in our party if you were booked and couldnt seat us anyway? Had we known, we wouldnt have spent the time getting my grandma out of the car and having her make her way to the building, as it is a hassle for her to do these things now in her old age. Im sure the food is great, as my grandma was the one who wanted to eat her because of the flounder, but I wish they would have been a little more professional about letting people know about being booked - a sign on the door would have been sufficient.

The food here is great but not exceptional. The prices are reasonable. The staff pleasant enough. There is nothing about Red Fish that makes me say, "Ill never eat there again!" But neither is there anything that says, "I cant wait to come back!" My wife and I ate at Red Fish one Wednesday night after bible study. She had the grilled salmon with red pepper sauce, steamed vegetable and rice. I had the blackened red fish with crabmeat sauce, steamed vegetables and rice. There was no need for to-go-plates here. We enjoyed our meal very much, thank you. Dont misunderstand. We plan to visit Red Fish again. If for no other reason than to try the sushi. Its just that we wont be running back.

I ADORE Red Fish. Its the best sushi for your money at such a reasonable price! Their cooked entrees are delicious too (cedar plank Red Snapper, Fish and Chips, Seaweed Salad, etc.) The only drawback on the menu are their soups, which can be bland. Everything else Ive eaten there is always delicious. Red Fish gives generous portions and their food presentation is beautiful! I wanted a fun, casual Rehearsal Dinner to relax before my big Wedding day so I chose Red Fish. The owner, Rolita, looked after us herself and really made that night spectacular. Ive probably eaten at Red Fish over 50 times, realistically, and Im going to go back 1000 more.
